Tried Tayaki at a stall when I went to Hiroshima last summer. Never could I imagine that jam made out of beans could taste that good.

Yoooo I went to this place! the staff was super friendly and the Taiyaki is vegan friendly (usually they put butter in the recipe), good stuff!

Tayaki大好き I always get it when I go to Kura revolving sushi as a dessert here in the states. When I was in Japan I had it as a street snack it was soooo good. This place is in ebisu. Ive been to that area before. I will be marking this on my map and visiting next time im in Tokyo!! ❤

As a Latina I was very shocked he poured sugar into the red beans! I have never seen red beans used like this 😮 In Latin America red beans are always savory often accompanied by meat and sometimes even spicy! I am intrigued and will have to try red beans “sweet”.

@paolofromtokyo Thanks Paolo. I always went to the taiyaki place across from the station, but they closed. This one is even closer. There is also two awesome bars nearby: Soul Sisters to the left, and Epilogue on the next street. (Not to mention a park to the right). Love Ebisu. Thanks!
