I’m very jealous that you have such a well stocked, clear water venue. I live in Guildford, Surrey and the river Wey has so much suspended silt and other crap in it you can’t see a bright orange lure 2 feet off your rod tip at the moment! Keep up the good work 👍
Hi Chris, Instead of fishing for shoals of small Perch up to 2lb. Why not do what we do, and fill a bucket full of Minnows (Abundant now), and go Dip for those Massive Loners, You will nail Pike, Chub, Tench, and anything else that fancies a Minnow dinner along the way. Apart from the rain (Here Too) looks like You had a good un. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful movies, I watch them with pleasure. Superb fishing spots, I envy you. Unfortunately in my country poaching can not be fought and public waters have no fish at all.

Hi mate what settings g do u have tryout videos on on hero 9, 4k, 5k amd what frame rate best for RUclips uploads, in just starting to video my outings :)
Another great video. Every time I've tried jig fishing on my local waters I've had to give up because they just pick up rubbish or hair algae so it's not a method that you can use everywhere more's the pity.
My local canal (royal canal Dublin) has 5 foot of weeds from the bottom up along most of it's length, and it's harbouring a ton of perch. You should persist with a really small jig, it will be worth it. Definitely worth the unwanted green stragglers.
Great vid, love using small lures u never know what it’s gonna be,, also what is the net u use it looks quite good for a little session while travelling light
I just stumbled across your videos and there brilliant gave me the inspiration to have a go at lure fishing on my local canal what lure would you recommend for perch etc as I'm purely a waggler man lol those micro creature baits look brilliant l cheers bud

Always enjoy your content . Another great vid . You gotta get a cheap BFS combo . Waiting for you to get on that BFS train bud . Also , another idea for a vid for you , if your up for the challenge that is . Its the 2lb line lure fishing challenge (0.12-0.14 diameter fluoro straight through) . You ll need to have your drag super loose to stop the pike biting you off . Crushed barbed or barbless single hooks are a must .
@@tonycamplin8607 Pike bites are rare and the few ive had havent bitten me off . Not saying it cant happen . The trick is to use a very good fluorocarbon and ultra loose drag . With a baitcaster you can use your thumb for drag like you would on a centrepin reel . Pikes teeth cut through fluorocarbon when the line is tight . This is for Ultra light lure fishing and obviously your not targeting snags . Targets are roach , rudd , perch , bream and whatever fish can get the little lures in their mouth . The hooks are single barbless hooks . You ll be suprised what you can land on 2lb fluorocarbon straight through (0.12-0.14 ) and a rod designed for the job .

Just use smaller baits or small spinners and go to canals they are so easy to catch and often
