My question is how it has to do with your saves and how going back to online play works, will i need to remove the base game saves to a backup file when i run the randomizer, and what do i do to make sure im not banned once i return to online play
hello . I did every step right but after launching the game the game seems normal no changes, the the mod tells me that "it's done restart your game". I tried all the version of the mod but nothing worked. pls help.
You have to launch the game through the app. Not through steam/desktop icon. If you don't launch the game through the randomizer software, it will not activate the randomizer.
Since the new patch just dropped I now have to wait until the mod gets updated on nexus right? Also I know it's a dumb question but how do I uninstall the mod after I'm done playing on it?
Whenever Elden Ring updates, you have to wait on the mod dev to post an update to compensate the patch on Nexus. When they post the update, it should just transition over fine. Same goes for Seamless Co-op. They usually have to take time to compensate for current version. If you wanted to boot up normal Elden Ring, you just don't launch from the randomizer app. The basic launching of the game from Steam/desktop icon will boot vanilla.
When selecting game.exe mine comes up with users/*my name* and it says there’s an error finding the game. I followed exactly what you said but it’s not working
When I try to run the exe i get an error saying "C:\Program Files\dotnet\host\fxr\6.0.20\hostfxr.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc000012f"
Any time you are using a mod for the game you aren't launching it normally. You wouldn't be able to access multiplayer while on a randomized save in the first place. It auto runs offline mode. There is no banning to be done, because the game doesn't register you as being online.
