Yes Mod Engine disable Easy Anti cheat. Does that answer the question ? It seems to me that you if it didnt disable easy anti cheat, easy anti cheat would stop you from playing the game.
seeing a few recent comments saying Elden Ring wont Launch through mod Engine. The way to solve this: Steam needs to be running in the background in order fot the game to launch successfully through Mod Engine
Note in the mod page forum discussions. This is a known issue and happens when the item ID's or game files are off. The patch / update that released with the DLC broke the mod. We have to wait for a new update before it can be used again.
Dude thank you so much everything was so simple to follow and understeand, i always wanted to do the game with late game gear but without leveling up my character but some questlines drop +8 weapons and forces you be matched with late game players and cooperators.

Hmm I followed your instructions, however after I click on "launchmod_eldenring" nothing happens, I've already beaten the game, but I heard about this mod and figured why not, sounds fun. However, as I said I've run into a snag, after I click the same one as you Valentin, nothing literally happens, do I need to launch the game normally first, close it and then try to launch it from the folder. Or has Fromsoft blocked this mod? Also I don't really care about PVP, and would never abuse or use cheats in PVP, nor really with PVE, but as I said, I heard about this mod and figured just for fun, give it a try.
@@ValentinParkourGaming Well I did the update method, for version 1.08, going to see if that works or not, still though I appreciate the guide! To update, I noticed that when I click on "Launchmod_eldenring" and when nothing pops up, I noticed it created a notepad that goes on to show code of the mod launching, and it says at least 10 times "Destroying" basically it's loading the game but immediately gets terminated, this is tricky one lol. Update 2: So I realized why this is happening, the game itself actually needs to be on the PC...because I tried the Dark Souls III one through the folder and it loaded the game instantly, because Dark Souls III is actually on my computer, however Elden Ring is not, it's on an external drive, so I guess I'm gonna have to uninstall and reinstall Elden Ring and THEN see if it works lol...

Which are the "cut content" items. Like, from which I understood I can take anything except for too much amount of a single rare item and the cut content stuff. But I have no idea how to know where are those and I don't wanna grab them by mistake as I wanna get into the online without getting banned. Thanks^^

I removed it from my inventory immediately and I hope I fixed my mistake by doing that. On the other hand , I grabbed every item except for: Bosses Souls, Bosses Great Runes, Keys items, And the seeds and tears for the estus flasks. After that I deleted the mod completely and joined Elden Ring online. For the moment is fine, but I will tell you if I got banned or not so I can help to improve the feedback and information about the limitations of the Great Merchant.

So it is save as long as you don't buy key items (keys, bosses souls, great runes, tears for the estus flasks, etc) and cut content. Also add that in my case, after buying what i wanted i deleted the honest merchant completely. Didn't just removed it one thing, i just deleted it and then i joined Elden Ring online and I still had the progress. Also, another very important thing is that you should put that you allways enter in "offline" mode to elden ring. So this way you make sure you are offline (unless you will get banned 100%). And then after you delete the grand merchant you can put Elden RIng in online mode again.

Hello, I downloaded the simple version, to install it, in the file it says that you should just replace the regulation.bin file in the game folder, but before making a backup of it in case you want to remove the mod, I made the backup and then replaced the regulation. bin, however, when putting the backup back in the game folder, when I enter the game the mod is still active, the simple version changes the creation system and I can't uninstall it, help me please.

No u can get memory stone at the beginning. Actually u can take anything and not get banned. Just don’t take weird looking items and u are good to go. I ve made nez characters with full memory stones, golden flask, ancient dragon stone etc. No problemo
When you take items like memory stones or pots the ones in your inventory replace the ones in the world and those despawn, meaning you can take anything that you can get later on with no problem, only stay away from cut contenent, items with the error message and avoid grabing items that should not be adquired a second time, like online items like the taunter's tongh.

People who say it didn’t work need to do more research. Of course it didn’t work. The mod is not updated yet for the DLC go to nexus mods and click on the post once the mod Creator says it’s updated than the mod will be playable again.

hi i am trying ot download this mod and i hope you are still answering comments, i just downloaded ERR, and already have a msg,script, and description.txt in the mod folder from ERR. do i replace? or skip im not sure, dont want to ruin the entiree other mod overhaul so, any answers are greatly appreciated thanks.
im tried too overwrite the msg and script folder and i imported the Grand merchant data into the regulator.bin of EER, all works fine except that when you try to change fortunes and difficulty with ERR every line is like ?TextEvent?, I'm trying to figure out how to fix this text, but everything works fine, all two mods work fine
i am new to this all so forgive a likely dumb question so it should be possible to able to use multiple mods, an issue ive had is when two mods both have files named regulation it looks like what you name the file matters so like i am trying to run Clevers moveset modpack and this and i am not sure how to able to run both mods. clevers works and all so idk
I appreciate the speedy reply, I figured it out tho With clevers moveset mod already installed in the mod folder of mod engine 2 And my just trying to add the honest merchants mod to that same folder, the issue was having to regulation.bin files which cant coexist, si your pc will suggest changing the name to like regulation(2).bin which ruins the clevers mod. So what I did was when placing the honest merchants mod in, your given option to deal with what looks like a duplicate file with regulation.bin, instead of renaming, I clicked replace the duplicate file, which let honest merchnats work while pieces of clevers mod was there. I used merchants to make a character with everything, pulled everything related to the merchant mod from the mod folder, and reloaded the game, there was text issues with clevers after rebooting the game but it all worked, maxed character was still there. Just deleted all clevers files in the mod folder and pasted the orginal files of when I first downloaded it since those werent replaced at all with the merchant mod, now it all works. Text is fixed, character is maxed amd all these modded weapons. Barely 2 hours of playtime. I did it sloppy and I am sure this could have been done easier but I'm new to pc and modding and I figured it out. Granted I dont care about playing online at all so I dont care for being banned even tho modengine 2 elden ring and steam elden ring should be different
What if I run this with my internet of and then turn it on after I’m done does that make it safer as to not get banned I already finished the game complete with trophies and would really hate to get banned but at the same time don’t want to go trough it again
You dont have to go offline, as long as you do it the way this guy did it the mod launches the game in offline and they can't ban u unless you take the wrong items into onlyne play.

So.... I got in the game but when I went into the item crafting only the items I had available were unlockable. Not all the items in the game were available. Can anyone help?

The patch / update that came with the DLC broke the mod. No news on when to expect an update yet but keep an eye on the Nexus page for news and accountments.
Are there restrictions on weapon upgrades that could get you banned? In dark Souls 3 you could get in trouble for having a plus 10 weapon before you naturally attained it in game. Are there any restrictions like that in this game that could get you banned? Like if I have a base level character fresh out of spawn, will it matter if I'm decked at and have everything I want on that character in game
I did a new character, and made him lvl 125 with weapon at +10 +25 after like 5 min of game time. I have 30 hours on this same character, no problem so far :)
Can you also take talisman pouches? What happens when you have all 4 pouches and you earn more through the intended way? Same for other key items like map pieces for example

The first attempt i made, i just thought it works the same as the light version so I only replaced the regulation file from the mod to the game folder and started the game with the offline launcher... but once in the game, the crafting table item selection was empty. So I opened the readme file inside the standard version folder, and I followed the steps, and tried to start the mod via the launchmod_eldenring.bat, but this time nothing happens, the game doesnt even run :/

Just grab what you would have access to on a normal playthrough and u will be fine

You wont get abnned as long as you are not using banned item and changing the stats of your character once you go back online.

No u can get memory stone at the beginning. Actually u can take anything and not get banned. Just don’t take weird looking items and u are good to go. I ve made nez characters with full memory stones, golden flask, ancient dragon stone etc. No problemo
When you take items like memory stones or pots the ones in your inventory replace the ones in the world and those despawn, meaning you can take anything that you can get later on with no problem, only stay away from cut contenent, items with the error message and avoid grabing items that should not be adquired a second time, like online items like the taunter's tongh.

Great video. But in my case the items wont appear, I have downloaded the Mod engine 2 for elden ring, I dowloaded the grand merchant mod in nexus, and looked for an updated file as well but there weren't any. Any ideia what i am doing wrong?

Hey i followed your video to a T. Igot the items I wanted and level. Then when I try reloading it tells me inappropriate activity detected not sure what is up if it is detecting something or could it be to much of an item? Please help.

hi, I followed all the steps precisely but when I click on launchmod_eldenring the game doesn't open for me, I also tried keeping Steam open waiting a long time but nothing

People who say it didn’t work need to do more research. Of course it didn’t work. The mod is not updated yet for the DLC go to nexus mods and click on the post once the mod Creator says it’s updated than the mod will be playable again.
How do you remove the Mod safely without damaging my save game? I see the mod works but I would rather make all my characters then remove it just in case of possible bans

hi i am trying ot download this mod and i hope you are still answering comments, i just downloaded ERR, and already have a msg,script, and description.txt in the mod folder from ERR.

im tried too overwrite the msg and script folder and i imported the Grand merchant data into the regulator.bin of EER, all works fine except that when you try to change fortunes and difficulty with ERR every line is like ?TextEvent?, I'm trying to figure out how to fix this text, but everything works fine, all two mods work fine

i am new to this all so forgive a likely dumb question
so it should be possible to able to use multiple mods, an issue ive had is when two mods both have files named regulation
it looks like what you name the file matters so like i am trying to run Clevers moveset modpack and this and i am not sure how to able to run both mods. clevers works and all so idk

With clevers moveset mod already installed in the mod folder of mod engine 2
And my just trying to add the honest merchants mod to that same folder, the issue was having to regulation.bin files which cant coexist, si your pc will suggest changing the name to like regulation(2).bin which ruins the clevers mod.
So what I did was when placing the honest merchants mod in, your given option to deal with what looks like a duplicate file with regulation.bin, instead of renaming, I clicked replace the duplicate file, which let honest merchnats work while pieces of clevers mod was there. I used merchants to make a character with everything, pulled everything related to the merchant mod from the mod folder, and reloaded the game, there was text issues with clevers after rebooting the game but it all worked, maxed character was still there. Just deleted all clevers files in the mod folder and pasted the orginal files of when I first downloaded it since those werent replaced at all with the merchant mod, now it all works. Text is fixed, character is maxed amd all these modded weapons. Barely 2 hours of playtime. I did it sloppy and I am sure this could have been done easier but I'm new to pc and modding and I figured it out. Granted I dont care about playing online at all so I dont care for being banned even tho modengine 2 elden ring and steam elden ring should be different

you wont get banned don't worry
You dont have to go offline, as long as you do it the way this guy did it the mod launches the game in offline and they can't ban u unless you take the wrong items into onlyne play.

Note in the mod page forum discussions. This is a known issue and happens when the item ID's or game files are off. The patch / update that released with the DLC broke the mod. We have to wait for a new update before it can be used again.

Are there restrictions on weapon upgrades that could get you banned? In dark Souls 3 you could get in trouble for having a plus 10 weapon before you naturally attained it in game. Are there any restrictions like that in this game that could get you banned? Like if I have a base level character fresh out of spawn, will it matter if I'm decked at and have everything I want on that character in game
I did a new character, and made him lvl 125 with weapon at +10 +25 after like 5 min of game time. I have 30 hours on this same character, no problem so far :)

The first attempt i made, i just thought it works the same as the light version so I only replaced the regulation file from the mod to the game folder and started the game with the offline launcher... but once in the game, the crafting table item selection was empty.
So I opened the readme file inside the standard version folder, and I followed the steps, and tried to start the mod via the launchmod_eldenring.bat, but this time nothing happens, the game doesnt even run :/

Yeah u can play however u want buddy. I would suggest trying to look at guide if u have problem with certain boss or certain areas
