From a great at United. Who definitely had an opinion. The only one I didn't fully agree with is Rashford. He was in his purple patch at the time. But Rashford is selfish. He is a run in and score flash goals character. But he is no centre forward. His accuracy can be pitiful. And he could have ten times the number of assists. Instead of the balls into the stand from wild shots. Good player. But flawed.

How he judges the players, is how anyone would judge those particular players. Keane is just pointing out what's obvious to everyone. De Bruyne, Saka and Kane being good players, who wouldn't recognize that? And conversely the level of play coming from Maguire and De Gea (when he still played for Manchester United) has been terrible. You could account for some of it with the fact that Manchester United is a dysfunctional team, and a dysfunctional club at the moment, but there's no denying their individual performances have often been below par.
It would be more interesting to follow panel members who are able to recognize the underlying talent of players who's had several bad games, but who's still on their way to becoming great players. That's a talent in itself, rather than spouting what's obvious.

It's heaven or hell with the pundits, and all to often it seems to be their job to tear individuals and teams down, instead of looking at the big picture. I reckon he is a negative character in the dressing room and has been for years. Our players like Keane said will throw every manager under the bus, done it once Will do it again a d Rashford must be a ringleader! If he is capable of playing rubbish on purpose coz not in his favourite position then he must be spoilt little brat

Cant stand the guy but i agree with everything he says except Maguire... United dont play how Maguire was used to with Leicester or with England plus its not his fault United paid 80 million for him, they overspent and then moan that Maguires not worth 80 when they're the ones who set his worth by paying 80 million 😂. Maguire needs to leave to a team that will use him properly but i think he's pissed off with United and how he has been portrayed so is taking them for as much as possible.

    When
Ten Hag suggested that he wanted Antony, he was priced at €60m but the board bought him after losing the first games of the season to Brighton and Brentford, towards the end of the window....now he was priced at €85m..so tell me who's at fault here, is it the manager or is it the board ? This isn't FIFA that merely buying players results in them making a seamless transition. Also, what about the Gakpo deal in Jan or the CB that Ten Hag had wanted earlier this summer (surely Evans wasn't his pick) also why do United take so very long to get every single deal over the line unlike City or Liverpool. As self-anointed "biggest club in the world" , surely they ought to be more efficient in carrying out transfer negotiations and getting more money for their outgoing academy starlets.

Everything he says about Manchester United has been or become true! I believe if he didn't fall out with Ferguson he would of definitely been manager and only reason not is Ferguson holds to much power. Ole being our manager our super sub is and was embarrassing! Ole a player to scared to leave and happy to warm the bench when we have Kea e who is exactly what the players need, someone they can talk to, banter with, as long as you give your all, knows how to win and what is required to win just doesn't have all the tactical talk of a Pep or Artega etc which is mainly all rubbish when all you got to do is pass quick, forward, move, attack, score and defend

    • @EPLHYPE
      @EPLHYPE  8 месяцев назад

It would be interesting to see him at a big club with world-class players for sure.
A lot has changed since Fergies days/style though and he only got away with it towards the end because he was Sir Alex. Keane is deffo a bit of a Fergie type.
Sadly seems like players have the power now, managers go much quicker than them. The Man united players pushed out Ole and Mourinho from what I remember?
People were calling for Klopp's head last year🤯. Patience is just gone out of the window 😆

Pep and Arteta know how to talk to players. Look at Arteta, man is pure passion about football but that does not diminish from his social skills. He supports players and if you look at Ramsdale story about his unfortunate loss of son you'd know that Arteta was there for him. So while I do agree Keane is great man no need to take others into it without knowing what are you talking about.

    • @aabidamn

He tried being a manager. All you said worked at first, but then they got staled quickly. Roy is a bully, not a motivational type of person. He picked fights with everybody; the team, his staffs, the media, the club bosses. There's no way someone like that would survive long as a football manager. He was like Mourinho, but without the tactical nous.
You need a combination of a bully, motivational, and tactically sound to become a great manager for the long run. Roy Keane didn't have those. Now he realized it's easier to work as a pundit than doing an actual groundwork to manage a football team.

Wouldn't let De Gea on the team, not going to get you winning trophies I'll expand on that in a few minutes. When Schmeichel 'retired' then went on to Lisbon and man city. It took united a while to sort that mess out.
Then when Van Der retired too
k us a while until De Gea got used to premier league. Now same thing happening bub hopefully will sort itself out especially considering the first and to a degree second choice of entire defence are all injured.
Had it not been for De Gea playing on after Sir Alex left was I'd say the main thing that kept us a few seasons from getting from being relegated. Easily 20 points
The vast magority of seasons he kept us up without the same calibre of defenders/players etc in from of him. Also winning fa cup,
Europa league. And under ten hag the league cup.
As for keane not having him in the squad I think speaks volumes volumes of his managerial ability and why he's a pundit not a coach, magager, even part of the training set up.
Also another thing to do with Manchester Uniteds current problems. To best of my knowledge benni Mc Carthy leaving the club during the summer
