This is a deep and truthful reinterpretation of a song... I appreciate all kind of musical art, but this ability, to me, looks more difficult and brings an extra surprising feeling that blows my mind away!
Especially at the end when they turn a sad song into a joke about subscribing the channel... yeah, so powerful and touching. I was pissed of when I reach that part and scream loudly in my flat. I just cant belive that someone can do trash like this. Song is great and well played... but "subscribing" part is so shamefull and dissrespectfull. I still cant tell how stupid it is and how Im pissed. This is why a likegrabbing artists should go to the basement and switch of their wifi.
Oh, those harmonies! I did not expect to tear up over a song featuring a didgeridoo today but here I am, loving it. (And I guess now we know that when the Bros say they're taking a summer break what they mean is "hold on, we've got to drop this ring off at Mordor but we should be back soon"?)
Excuse you. I am subscribed, and have my notifications on! And will be mad spamming Linkin Park with this. Joe, I thought you could read my mind telepathically. I apologize. And that ending was adorable. It seems it may Concern Hobbits..... *shifty eyes* First things first, I very obviously lost my mind over this. The layering at the beginning while Dave was singing was fantastic and gave so much more depth to really pull you in. The digeridoo? Brilliant. During the last repeat of the chorus I was left thinking "WHERE IS THE FAST DRUMS? WHERE?" and then you came back in with them, leaving that listener satisfaction. Shneaky, shneaky. Overall I'd give it a Banana Factory out of 10.
When I hear you guys sing this song, I picture Chester standing in the background of the video, softly singing along. Thanks! I like this song very much. ❤
Lyrics Take me down to the river bend Take me down to the fighting end Wash the poison from off my skin Then show me how to be whole again Fly me up on a silver wing Past the black, where the sirens sing Warm me up in the nova's glow And drop me down to the dream below 'Cause I'm only a crack In this castle of glass Hardly anything there for you to see For you to see Bring me home in a blinding dream Through the secrets that I have seen Wash the sorrow from off my skin And show me how to be whole again 'Cause I'm only a crack In this castle of glass Hardly anything there for you to see For you to see 'Cause I'm only a crack In this castle of glass Hardly anything else I need to be 'Cause I'm only a crack In this castle of glass Hardly anything there for you to see For you to see For you to see
Wow, the part at 2:00 feels like a song that would play in Disney movie during a scene where main hero runs away from his home to chase his dreams, amazing
WHAT A COLLAB! So glad you bros are now able to bring in music powerhouses such as @Michalina Malisz and it should not be understated. CONGRATS and WELL DESERVED! The best part is we get to reap the fruits of your hard labor.
What a great cover! I'm so happy to see you partnering up with Michalina! I hope you'll do some more projects together! Can't wait to see your two familiar faces on Michalina's channel!
God, i'm in tears, Linkin Park and Chester helped me an insane lot when I was growing up with depression from a broken family and difficult infancy, I can say for certain that if it weren't for them, I wouldn't be here today, they were there for me in my darkest times, even when I wanted to end it all, they were there for me, with their lyrics and art, they're the reason I even learned English and started studying my current career in English. Still to this day I can't get over Chester's passing, I can't imagine his constant suffering and pain, well, I can, but I feel a mix of dread and pity, that he didn't have anyone to be there and help like he did to all of us, I somehow feel both extremely sad when I listen to their songs, but also incredible relief and happiness in knowing that he isn't suffering anymore and remembering all those beautiful memories that he made for all of us, we will never forget you Chester, You will always live in our hearts. Rest In Peace Chester, we love you.
I honestly have yet to see another band for which fans have said this so many times, that they helped them through their youth with their music to push through even when they thought about the worst. It was the same for me. ✨🔥
Holy ... just... wow. I'm at a loss for words. I've always felt the original song was underappreciated. but hearing this cover I now realize that there are others out there who truly appreciate what an excellent piece of songwriting this is. Tremendous interpretation (far beyond "cover") here... thank you so much for this!
This channel is always and I do mean ALWAYS a delight. I know that without a shred of doubt I am going to fall in love with the talent in every video. Well done as always!!
a masterpiece of a cover. did not know that linkin park could sound that epic. got goosebumps listening the first time... and the second time... and the third time...
I was just about to hit that X to close the tab and then that ending theme kicked back in and I had to scroll back up to the video from the comments. The linkin park song already had a smile on my face, and seeing you guys enjoy messing around at the end only made it grow.
Wow. Just wow! Dave’s voice is like velvet and Joe amazes again with ANOTHER instrument. Beautiful voices, music, and filming. Love the collab with other musicians too! I adore this channel 😍🥰
I haven't heard this song before, so I pulled up the original video first, and man. I was not expecting that kind of emotional punch to the soul. Your version kept that original feeling going. These types of songs from you (epic, acoustic, and folksy) are by far my favorite!
I absolutely DID answer, out loud, even though I'm alone: I said, "Rocky and Bullwinkle." True story. People don't admit to talking out loud to themselves unless it's true. You just couldn't hear me because you don't want to be Rocky and Bullwinkle. Also, that was really beautiful.
Mike Shinoda would love to see this!
Why aren't you watching this video!? You should be watching this video: it's awesome!!
This is a deep and truthful reinterpretation of a song... I appreciate all kind of musical art, but this ability, to me, looks more difficult and brings an extra surprising feeling that blows my mind away!
Wait...WHAT!?! Melodika Bros and Eluveitie playing Linkin Park!? I couldn't even imagine such a thing! 😍
Somewhere Chester is listening to this and smiling. Such a beautiful and powerful rendition.
Yes

that hurts
I hope so.
Felt chills when I read this comment ✨
There are two types of Melodicka worries:
- somebody is spying us
- nobody is spying us
Why the latter?
Oh, those harmonies! I did not expect to tear up over a song featuring a didgeridoo today but here I am, loving it.
(And I guess now we know that when the Bros say they're taking a summer break what they mean is "hold on, we've got to drop this ring off at Mordor but we should be back soon"?)
Who's Sam and who is Frodo? You decide! (and no she's not gollum, she'll be galadriel).
I agree...my watery eyes, full of half moon puddles of tears😔😪
I was today years old when I realized didgeridoo was a real word.
I think it's an alphorn being played to produce a similar sound to a didgeridoo.
Excuse you. I am subscribed, and have my notifications on! And will be mad spamming Linkin Park with this. Joe, I thought you could read my mind telepathically. I apologize. And that ending was adorable. It seems it may Concern Hobbits..... *shifty eyes*

Ah, yes, the power of spaghetti and pierogi working together.
unexpected LOTR at the end. first i tear up with joy, then with laughter. love u guys
for a moment I thought it was Back to the Future and I was so confused 😅
Now I need to see Castle Of Glass but it's Lord of the Rings.
When I hear you guys sing this song, I picture Chester standing in the background of the video,
softly singing along. Thanks! I like this song very much. ❤
Modern sound, medieval instruments. I really enjoyed how much you were able to bring out of the instruments with your arrangement.
Look up "Bardcore".
@@LukeVilent I know it. Hildegard Von Blingin' is one of my faves. 😁
@@argentandroid5732 Hilde has some pretty epic stuff
Lyrics
Take me down to the river bend
Take me down to the fighting end
Wash the poison from off my skin
Then show me how to be whole again
Fly me up on a silver wing
Past the black, where the sirens sing
Warm me up in the nova's glow
And drop me down to the dream below
'Cause I'm only a crack
In this castle of glass
Hardly anything there for you to see
For you to see
Bring me home in a blinding dream
Through the secrets that I have seen
Wash the sorrow from off my skin
And show me how to be whole again
'Cause I'm only a crack
In this castle of glass
Hardly anything there for you to see
For you to see
'Cause I'm only a crack
In this castle of glass
Hardly anything else
I need to be
'Cause I'm only a crack
In this castle of glass
Hardly anything there for you to see
For you to see
For you to see
It's a great cover when you get goosebumps.
Several times.
Michalina has a beautiful singing voice. I didn't know that.
Wow, the part at 2:00 feels like a song that would play in Disney movie during a scene where main hero runs away from his home to chase his dreams, amazing
Incredible. Amazing. Great cover.
And don't worry Dave, I'm watching this video again.
And again.
And again...
_Over and over and over again..._

Digeridoo and hurdy gurdy, glorious.
Wow, this is truly a masterpiece, both in sound and visually

Wow... just wow... That's everything I can say...
Not even one minute in and I already liked and subbed :3
Just epic! Love those horn blasts at 3:10
Goosebumps in the first minute
Amazing. Getting some major witcher vibes
"Hurdy Gurdy" sounds like a muscle ailment but it's actually a fascinating musical instrument
We need a word for the delight felt when two of your favorite artists unexpectedly collaborate. It's been happening to me a lot lately.
Yeah...this version of this song brings me to tears...always.
This song is just so freaking good!

This is by far the best cover of Castle of Glass I have heard - amazing job

A digiridoo and a hurdy gurdy. Immediately I know this is going to be good.
THIS WAS EPIC!
Absolutely fantastic!

Melodicka Bros, Eluveitie and Linkin Park (+ LORT at the end), all the phases of my life in one song!! Can't complain!
Oh my gosh this is one of my most favorite songs ever and I just randomly found this without searching for it. Awesome!
love the hurdy gurdy
Woah. That instrument is wild.
