YBD Royal Icing
This recipe is great for pressure piping but would be too airy for string work!
note: Confectioners sugar in the US contains cornstarch, if you are making this recipe in a country where the confectioners sugar is pure, you may need to increase the sugar content so get the volume you need!
What you need….
4 oz. pasteurized Egg Whites
14 oz. Confectioners Sugar
How to make this…..
Place egg whites and sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whip attachment.
Mix on low until incorporated and sugar is fully dissolved.
Turn mixer speed to high and whip to full peaks, about 5 minutes.
The mixture should be white and have the consistency of marshmallow fluff.

Can you make cakes from different decades. Would be interesting to see how cakes look in the 1800's or 1900's..
Please do a full episode of retro recipes please 🙏
Yes to retro!! Also the bloopers were the icing on the cake for this episode!
You should check out Anne Reardon's channel, specifically her mini-kitchen episodes. She has baked a whole variety of desserts (cake, pie, donuts etc), not only at this scale, but in an actual miniature kitchen, using mini bowls and utensils, a miniature oven and so on. They're really good fun to watch and she's managed to make the kitchen amazingly detailed.
YASSS to the retro episode and the Trixie Mattel collab! This episode was 🔥
20 years ago I wanted to get my son an Easy Bake Oven but could only find girly colored ones. How we would have loved a black one with skulls! Yes... definitely a retro recipes episode!
Defintely the most elaborate easy bake I've seen! lol I would definitely want to watch a Trixie/YBD collab! Or even regular Brian (Trixie out of drag) would be cool too 😂 I like all videos you guys make!

Full episode of retro recipes would be soo fun!!! and this cake is insane love it!!!!
Totally want to see the 70’s recipes. I inherited all my grandma’s recipes and found some really strange ones from the 70’s as well. They had some really weird combinations and they seemed to love jello.
I can not tell you how happy this episode made me! That cake is adorable, the bois are on fire with the banter, and the fact that it's both tiny - my favourite size cake - and green - my favourite colour - is, well, the icing on the cake!
A video with Trixie will be awesome!!!!! 💖✨
I think the retro 3 course meal is a GREAT idea!!!!
Yes! Retro three course meal, please!
I absolutely loved this challenge! Freakishly tiny is my favorite tiny! The only way it could've been better is if you put a teeny tiny cake topper on it.
i used to want an easy bake oven so bad, but we could never afford one. it’s so cool seeing so many bakers play around with them!
Loved the Easy Bake Oven tiered cake. A show using retro recipes would be so much fun 🤩.
