Was the TCM demonstrated in video the one that needs to be refurbished or the already refurbished one? I see the gears not matching the speed such as it being in 3rd/4th but only 20.
Hello, i hvae a 2010 Mazda premacy with 5 speed transmission with tiptronic issue-slowing down to turn, or go over a speed bump, or come to an intersection (not stopping totally to 0 mph), then then later accelerating, the transmission is in 3rd gear. Then it lags and slowly accelerates through 15+ mph. The result: poor acceleration. When i switch to manual mode i see it is in 3rd gear? To overcome this i would have to press the gas pedal very hard for it to downshift and then it shoots. Is this normal ?
No that is not normal. This could be a combination of faulty speed sensors and the TCM. We would need to actually have the vehicle to perform a proper diagnosis but you seem to be on the right track watching this video. Let us know if we can help in any way.
What’s the turn around time and price on this repair? Trying to avoid ordering from china, but also need it quick so seeing if expedite options are available. Really appreciate information here, I haven’t looked at the faq as I’m sitting in a parking garage removing this lol.

We have a 2008 Mazda 3 that while driving in 5th gear at constant speed will make a loud sound a buck forward and the engine revs since it seems to have popped out of gear, then a split second later everything is fine. The AT light also comes on momentarily. We do have the vacuum leak and lean on bank 1 engine codes, so I am not sure it is related. It does shift weird sometime between gears. Could this be the TCM?
I have a 2012 Mazda 3 hatch 2.0 I had tcm problem and omg $$$ for this model? Other years far cheaper. I traced problem to plug up where ecm is also. Ahole aaa thunked the battery ontop the ecm and plugs there. Found issue and all okay, but moved the tcm. Wtf mounting that ontop trans and UNDER battery tray..
my car has electrical problems i think the daytime lights when turned on cause the car not to detect the key and not start or if car is running it makes it stall out

It could be the TCM in connection with your speed sensor as well.

@@acr I replaced my tcm and it fixed my lights my guessing it was messing with the wiring
