I have an ecm from the exact vehicle can I install it at home without programming it to vin?
Was the TCM demonstrated in video the one that needs to be refurbished or the already refurbished one? I see the gears not matching the speed such as it being in 3rd/4th but only 20.
I need to replace and reprogramming the ECU in my Chevy Venture 1999. I also purchased new pairs of PK3 keys on Aliexpress and engraved it. Is this procedure working with these new virgin keys? Or is needed the previous programmed key?
What if they security icon turns off with the rest of the icons after i turn it to on position? it doesn't stay on for the time.
I suggest you confirm this is the correct procedure for your vehicle and that the ECM you replaced is properly programmed and calibrated to your car with the key codes, VIN, etc.

I ordered a ECM from you guys car start everything works but my key fob won’t work at all. How can I reprogram the key fob?
The key fob is a separate system from the PCM. Depending on your year make models there may be a video or instructions online or here on you tube.

@acr problem not solved!!! I removed skim module from steering column disconnected battery and replaced the pcm with the skim deleted module from all computer and it doesn't start!!!!!!

What if you had new keys cut ?
Those keys would have to first be programmed to your ignition.

There could be many reasons for this. We would suggest having the vehicle properly diagnosed

Hello. My 2008 Jeep Commander has a transmission issue, I don't have to code number at the moment, "Nutreal Parking Switch" (TCM) that is intergrated in the ECM. Your ECM's are tested for All functions? So I just need to purchase a refurbished ECM from you, delete the SKIM, follow ignition procedures and I'm good to go? Thank you for your time.

i had a 2014 sonic replacement ecu and after about a month one day it would not start no security light i did the 30 min procedure and no start no crank we even tried to pull start it its a manual and nothing no ignition no fuel etc only code i received was a p0315 code have you ever seen that i believe the ecu i received might have failed i also did the crank relearn when i installed that ecu from flasgship one just curious if you have seen that before
We are uncertain how other companies program and calibrate their units. Are they offering any type of assistance?

my battery almost died on the 3rd attempt... so i got out the charger.. I had to do it 3 more times. It works!!
Yes, that's a great idea! You don't want to battery to drain to much or it will cause other problems.

The relearn process must be performed at a minimum of 3 times

Some our interchangeable as long as the calibration is programmed correct.
I have a 2002 Dodge Dakota Sport I added a new computer from all Computer Resources and found that I have a SKIM problem now. Never had a problem before. I've followed the videos for the SKIM removal but there isn't a module in the steering column. Where else would it be?
It may of been removed in the past. Should be under the steering column.

What if the secerityi light comes on soon as you try to crank it and then goes off 2 seconds later?
It would be easier to answer that by diagnosing the vehicle and having a brief history of the issues you've been having. If you purchased an ECM from us, a tech support team is available to assist you, which you will find on the QR code we sent with the module.
This isnt a problem solved, this is you selling a service, solving the problem would be showing how to do it or telling people to buy hptuners themselves and do skim retrofit for removal
This solution works in most cases.
Seriously? Most people just want the antitheft disabled. They do not want to do it themselves, or buy a tuner to do one thing. I've had this done on an old GM truck that would not start if it was raining.
@@jasonsprouse2803 Understood. Unfortunately, no tuner can disable the factory security that easily. The SKIM module must be removed to override the system, and the PCM must be sent in to adjust those parameters.

Hello, a chevroet Sail 2024 witch procedure should use? the only key left dont have any engrave, is a HU100 key, with chip, someone read with xhorse tool (no clonable)
We do not currently support the 2024 Chevy Sail. I would suggest contacting a local locksmith as that vehicle would require onboard programming.
I just called to have my 2011 jk deleted. They can't delete mine.
That year JK is equipped with a different type of security system.

Ive had skim deleted twice by a friend...which it works i know because cranks and dies 3x then locks out even after a skim module removal...anyone dealt w this? 01 dodge neon
If the vehicle "cranks and dies 3x" then the SKIM has not been deleted.

What’s the turn around time and price on this repair? Trying to avoid ordering from china, but also need it quick so seeing if expedite options are available. Really appreciate information here, I haven’t looked at the faq as I’m sitting in a parking garage removing this lol.

Will it work if the key is not the original. The ignition switch was replaced before.
If the key is not original, it will need to have a different type of programming.
We have a 2008 Mazda 3 that while driving in 5th gear at constant speed will make a loud sound a buck forward and the engine revs since it seems to have popped out of gear, then a split second later everything is fine. The AT light also comes on momentarily. We do have the vacuum leak and lean on bank 1 engine codes, so I am not sure it is related. It does shift weird sometime between gears. Could this be the TCM?
It could be the TCM in connection with your speed sensor as well.

There is an alternative option for programming an extra key
I am going to do this when i have a moment to work on my jeep in the next few weeks. P-0513 code. Did a work around to get it going (unplugged battery and a fuse, waited 5 mins) and it fired back on. Once the car is running, can the skim kill power to the engine if im on the road? Or does it only do its initial check at the start of turning the ignition on? The bandage fix got me home, now im paranoid to use it tomorrow to get to work if it could die on me while driving
A failing SKIM module can potentially shut down the car at any given time

I'm gonna have to try this, I tried it 2 times but not to start the truck after every cycle, other videos just said to put it on the ON position
Procedure did not work at all. After attempting to start the vehicle, the security light went out after 2 seconds. UPDATE: Tried it a second time, and the same thing happened - the security light went out after 2 seconds. Tried it a third time, and the vehicle started but stalled. Tried it a fourth time, and the vehicle started, and runs perfectly. It's like I'm some sort of genius, and don't even know it.
Hello, Sorry you are having troubles programming your key. Did you order a calibrated computer from us for your vehicle?
@@acr I'm not having any issues at all. Took less than 5 minutes to do the Security Key Relearn and the Crankshaft Variation Relearn. Customer picked up the vehicle last night, and says the vehicle runs better than ever.
Did you wait for 10 minutes or did try again as soon as the light went off?
@@dadomoto7491 You should wait until the light turns off to start the next cycle. Its roughly 10 minutes.
