I pay audible yearly to get 12 credits at once and take advantage of their multiple sales. I have accumulated 1400 audiobooks this way.
I was thinking of doing the same pay the annual subscription but if u use all 12 credits within a month u won’t get another 12 till the following year right?
@@itslilo8951 not true. You can purchase three credits at a time. When you’re down to one credit, they’ll either email you an offer to buy three more. Or you can look at the upper right side in small bold letters offering you to buy three credits. You’ll always be able to buy them in increments of three. I do it all the time.

Pro Tip: If you set the playback speed to 75% you can understand her way better. Maybe I'm just too old (58) but I was having a hard time following her until I slowed her roll. But, thanks Kayla, I got what I was looking for in the end.

I’ve been using Libby so much recently, (just got into audiobooks) but so many that I want are “only on audible” and they’re like 6+ books series 😭 like I’m not gonna wait for credits to read them 😵

I use Libby and Hoopla heavily. I average an audiobook a day. I also have cards to two different libraries, so I have a wider range of audiobook choices. I only buy audiobooks if I have already listened to them. For those, I usually get them from Chirp. They inexpensive and have sales all the time.

I listen to a book a day, sometimes more ( if they are like a five hr book). Remember, you are listening, not reading. I am a retired widow, & I often listen from the time I get up until I go to sleep. I am home bound by physical problems. I found TV boring & news depressing. I found books on Hoopla not to my taste & my library doesn’t carry many of the popular books in my genre. Audible is way too expensive for me & I am running out of books on RUclips. Seriously.
How do you get another library card? Don’t you need to live in that area or I’m guessing you got a student library card
@@abel1955 - My library cards are for regular public libraries. Some areas have "reciprocal borrowing" library cards. If I have a library card for County A, that will allow me to get a library card for County B. Google what I put in quotes along with your state to see if it is available to you. Good luck!

I love Audible. They have the best selection by far IMO. You can return books to get your credit back. If it doesn’t allow you to return just chat them and they’ll gladly return it.
I have Libby and have library cards to 3 different libraries but rarely find the books I am wanting to read in any form.
You can only return 2 books ever - try it a third time and you get banned

With scribd and now Everand it’s not 15 audiobooks it’s more like three and then they block it especially like if you’re reading a series and you finish one they’ll block the next until the next month so it’s getting annoying it didn’t used to be like that

It’s not true that an Audible subscription is required for “whisper sync add-ons” or purchasing the paired audiobook for a Kindle book at a cheaper price. Everyone has access to that price once they buy the Kindle ebook- same as what’s available for Audible subscribers.

OK, thank you for this video. This is the video I’ve been looking for someone to do on RUclips and talk about this. because I am struggling to figure out which service is bang for your buck. I had scribd and still do but I’m probably canceling it before it renews the beginning of October because the price went up and I’m not sure it’s worth it. But like audiobooks are expensive so I’m trying to figure out the best service for your money
There’s a HUGE audible sale through the end of the week! A ton of titles for $3-$6 so I’d recommend using your trial or getting a membership for the month to stock up! All the books I got averaged to $5 each so a third of what it would cost in credits! Overall Scribd is still the best bang for my buck with the price and how many books I can listen to but the selection could definitely be better! And Libby/Hoopla are great free options, just have to be patient with holds.

Hello, I believe you can slow down the speed on any video on RUclips. You can also add closed captions and pause when needed. I do that when taking notes.
