Your videos are really helpful - the best I have found - thank you for investing the time and effort. I'm currently designing a Fokker Eindecker from 3-views using techniques from your videos. It would be good to see a video about generating complex fuselage cross sections from 3-views for WWII warbirds or an Extra 300 or similar? In my experience the cross section drawings tend not to be accurately drawn to the main views leaving some interpretation (guess work)! as to the actual cross sections.

Hello, thanks for the compliments on my videos. I find mistakes all the time in plans and drawings. Thats the beauty of 3D, it doesn't eliminate them, but it vastly reduces them. With the basic fuselage and turtle deck videos, it should be easy to replicate the Eindecker. It's basically a box type fuse with a partial cylinder on the front for the cowling and a couple of other curved features. I think people get lost in the weeds looking at cross-sections. Break down the structure into the simplest primitive shapes, then add your features. Furthermore, if you were creating your own design, you wouldn't start with profiles, you would create the outlines first. The profiles are the result of outlines. Take the same approach when recreating a design, it will be much easier. IMO

    New subscriber here.!
Just found your videos , they are great. I want to buy a small diode laser cut machines and i need how to learn to make the planes. Your channel is what i was looking for.
I was checking cost for fusion 360 and i do not think i can make enough plane to justify the price.
Do you have a recommendation for a free design software simmilar you fusion 360,? so i seee your videos as guidance.
    Thanks!!

Hello, thanks for the Sub! I think you can use Fusion360 for free. Even so, some people use FreeCAD for model design. I've grown to appreciate what Fusion360 can do for my modeling. I don't make enough money, to "justify" it, but I consider a part of the cost of my hobby.
