Definitely make more of these (DIY videos)!! I love this and it was so easy and simple! I’m just now teaching myself to sew so I’ll have to try this!
Thank you so much😭
I think the brighter yellow binding would have looked fine. Especially since it's still a shade of yellow.
This helped me so much! Successfully made my first baby blanket today! I was getting overwhelmed with how many tutorials were out there. I love how you didn’t over complicate things by needing anything more that the fabric and the satin.
Oh yay, congratulations! I’m so glad this was helpful ☺️
Your ring is STUNNING!!!!!
Thank you🥹
I know Sunny! So awesome to see you making RUclips videos!
Thank you!
Wow. Looks great!
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing! Looks awesome!
Thank you!
Love this. I make quilts that I tie and use the silk binding around the edge. So hard to get the corners right. You had some great tips. Your cousin Makena and I are doing the final touches today on quilts she and I have been making. I always dread the binding. I guess your great great grandma Blanche is the inspiration behind my quilt making. Yours turned out so cute. Way to go.
Thank you!
Enjoyed this...very helpful.
Thank you so much!!
So freaking cute!😍😍😍
Thank you🥰
I would prefer the yellow over pink
The yellow would have been good too!
I ran out of bobbin the last time I tried to make a blanket and I haven't done one since. It was a decorative edge stitch
Oh those are really tough. That dang bobbin haha
🤩🤩🥰🌞🌞🌞❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!
Why would you start the binding in the middle of the side? Couldn't you start at a corner and just have the diagonals meet at a corner so you don't get a wonky stich in the middle of a side? Does the starting place matter?
Great question! Typically you do want to start on a side rather than a corner so that your corner can get a more crisp fold
What do you do with the ends of your thread? Do you bury each one of them? Or just cut them and hope for the best?
I usually back stitched on all my stitches, so I never tie them off or anything. I just leave it and it’s always been fine for me.
Thank you
You’re welcome! I hope you enjoyed the tutorial 🙂
