Most grateful for this excellent video. Using its guidance my son changed the mount in about half an hour. The car is transformed. Congratulations!! The genuine Mitsubishi part was supplied by Obsolete Racing, the cheapest on eBay, well packaged and ahead of schedule. Clive Miles. 1515 10/08/24.
It’s awesome thank you 🙏 I have this problem with my Outlander PHEV. Every garage are telling me a different story. Gearbox is faulty. You need to replace oil. And all those nonsense 👏👍🏻
Thankyou so much just got the part changed with a power flex rear mount for £144 lifetime guarantee on part. F1 tyres in barking changed the part for £50 took 40mins, Feels like a brand new car. Mention manik they will look after you. Mechanics name is Joseph.
Awesome video and I'm about to do this myself. Does the car need to be lifted off the ground or can it be done with wheels on the ground? Could I use some wheel ramps or does the car need to be lifted up with a hoist? Wasn't shown in your video so would love to know before I start unbolting! Cheers
Thank god your back, best wishes from Edinburgh , your as u know been on channel since the start.🤣🤣..ps; a youtuber came up here last friday from Northampton with his wife and i picked them up from airport, they had a great weekend here...that's trust..
@@CarsExposed No it was a guy from Northampton and his wife, he has a small music channel of his own stuff on here but said not to post his name on here,, it was actually really good, , big hugs then i drove them around edinburgh , dropped off at their hotel then left them do the tourist stuff lol
Hey Wyatt everything is good just super busy at minute. Super easy job even easier than gravy 😊😂. I wasnt very impressed after changing the mount but so glad aswell when I went for a drive. I hope everything is well 👍
Thanks for this vid. I am about to replace mine as it has this thud as well. I also have a rattling going on when passing 30km/h. Seems to come from front. You can feel the vibration very slightly through the steering wheel. It worsens when steering a few degrees on the steeringwheel to the left, dies when steering a few degrees to the right. What could cause this? Th pitch of the vibration/rattling increases with speed.
How's she goin'? There seemed to be still a lot of movement in the bushing but like you said, once on the ground, it seemed good. So that's all that matters. Nice job Igor and it's good to see you back on RUclips!!!
Everything good mate , yeah I was thinking maybe Mitsubishi could have improve the bushing design but when the wheels were on the ground super smooth so I guess they did the right thing 😊. I hope everyone is well Mike and I will see you around 👍
@@rashelahmed2081 never found out, went by eye, cured the problem . I got a nylon bush to replace it, really easy and the awful clink has now gone. Definitely a home job

@@1965af perfect thank you mate 🙏
Did anyone ever find the proper torque setting for those bolts?
Merci beaucoup
Thank you
شكرا جزيلا
my car has got the same problem, can you please tell me how much it would cost to fix it
How much is the part , I have the same issue with my outlander and my garage is telling me to change the rear differential
Thank you 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
How can you check that the part is defective when on the car ? Pry it or i could see the rubber cracked? Thank you
Both way works …
you will hear an occasional knock... should also flag as an advisory on the MOT.
My rear right side cv joint has popped out, can it be popped back in, or replacment.
I would look into getting a replacement cv joint or complete driveshaft.👍
@@CarsExposed mechanics have told me I need a whole new rear diff motor. Cos mines making a grinding sound and running at full speed constantly
@ImranHaq100 have you replace the cv joint or driveshaft yet?
Has anyone found a way to make the driver’s seat stop clunking? Also the windows when they are partially open.
You couldn’t fix the old part with some mighty puddly, flex-all, or a small rubber wheel & epoxy?
👍😁
👍😊
is it just me or does the chassis rust too much?
The dealer charged me $250 for the mount and $600 for labor. I wish I had seen this video first.
That’s a bit steep, $600 for a job that takes a hour 😩. I’m really sorry
