I could honestly listen to you talk all day. Its just a perfect tone for long informational videos. Thank you for all the information and guides!
Agreed! 100% I love hearing her voice and witty comments
Yes, I love her voice. She should narrate audiobooks.
@@rb5078 YES!!!!!!! She and these videos make me happy even that there are no plans to go to Disney in the distant future. Haven’t been since March 2006
Same!! She gets me in such a good mood.
I AGREEE! Her voice just screams comfort and happy. Love it! ❤
My wife and I went to Disney this month to run on Marathon weekend. We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside. Or first day, we went to the East Bus Depot to go to Hollywood studios. We waited over an hour and a half for a bus. We had 50 or 60 other people waiting with us. Finally we gave up and went to the front desk and told them that buses were not stopping there. It was a mess. We missed early entry, and it put us in a bad mood the rest of the day.
After that, we learned that you need to go to the West Depot to take a bus, because they get picked up first. If you go to the East depot, you run the risk of the bus being already full and passing you by. So take note of that if you do decide to stay at Port Orleans Riverside.
I just walk over to French Quarter. That is the first Port Orleans stop.
Thank you for this comment! I was here looking for this exact info. 👍🏼
Riverside has always had bus issues. Getting to and from the parks can take ages. You see 4-5 buses come and go for other hotels whilst you wait an hour for the Riverside. It has been like this since I was there 14 years ago!
Art of Animation! Originally we planned on the Lion King Suite so we had a fair amount of space but since we'll be at the parks more than the resort, we changed to The Little Mermaid room. Makes sense to spend less for a room if you aren't going to be in it long.
I’m a new-er mom, my daughter is less than a year old and my husband and I are already planning a trip for a few years from now to give ourselves plenty of time to save up the money and do it stress-free and this channel is such a blessing for keeping up with changes so we’ll be super prepared by the time our trip comes around
We took our son to a Disneyland when he was 2 and a half. Kids under 3 are FREE!!!! It was easier to manage because it's smaller, and it was a good intro to the Disney experience. We learned what worked with our family, which made it MUCH easier to plan our WDW trip later on. DL is easier to plan for too.
Shout to you AJ for speaking on Airbnb travelers like a lot of us. You are like one of the only content creators who speak about Airbnb. A lot of other creators act like Airbnb doesn't exist. We appreciate you and thank you for making us feel like we are apart of the Dis family as well. ❤
"All you care to enjoy". Never heard before, sounds lovely compared to all you can eat. Love it!
AJ never lies about this type of stuff. I’ve booked a vacay for this year, but while searching for family suites the Art of animation family suites for the time of our vacation we’re pretty much on the higher end of our budget. We did some digging and booked the Swan Reserve for a cheaper price and the amenities are a higher quality. Thanks for the advice AJ!
I’m planning on taking another trip to Disney this fall. These videos are very helpful for my planning. Thank you for all the info!
Wilderness lodge is the hotel we always stay at. We love whispering canyon and the food court.
I love watching things I can’t afford
😂😂😂😂😂
Just got back from a week at Caribbean Beach and LOVED it. Would absolutely stay there again in the future.
I really like this video!!
AJ your the best at these DISNEYWORLD informational videos.have been watching these for a good couple years now and they have been always great.
Much better then a competitor of you a certain tracker where all you mostly see is his face and all about there kids new adventures.
REALLY.
Keep up your great work .
I've been fortunate to been able to afford going to DISNEYWORLD since they opened in 1971.every year except with this Covid now.
I enjoy the Boardwalk inn. The Yaught club resort and contemporary.
We have stayed at many others but we love those the best.
Maybe someday we will be greeted by a quick look at you so we can put a face to the beautiful voice .
Doing a 3 way split stay (4 nights each) in 2023: Contemporary, Boardwalk, Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Thank you so much AJ!!
I wish y’all would cover more on the campsites! My family is going in September and would love more info on that, like transportation and food and activities availed there.
All ears did a scavenger hunt there.
It’s my favorite place there. They have both buses and a boat to magic kingdom.
Me and my family are going to Disney world in Florida in summer so this helps A LOT thanks! 😊☺️😁👍👏
Beach Club Resort!!!
my son talks about Stormalong bay and our “blue hotel” more than the parks themselves!
I'm so tired of the fort wilderness cabins slander lmao. If you get a golf cart it doesnt take long to get to bus or boat at all. Its so beautiful, my favorite place to stay every time
Can you explain how the whole golf cart thing works? Is that an extra fee to rent it and do you have to reserve it in advance? And where do you park it when you drive to the bus/boat stops?
@@ktpaladino yes you do have to rent and reserve in advance. There is a little parking lot right next to the buses and at the end of the campground where the boat goes to MK. May br a hassle for some but I think its fun and not a big deal lol
I appreciate ur channel
I doubt you will see the comment, but could you maybe do a breakfast video sometime between now and June? With so many of the restaurants hours changing, and no longer doing breakfast, our favorite haunts are no longer an option ( Breakfast at garden grill). Would really like to see a video about alternatives.
I’m no pro but 2 great places you can try to get in are chef Mickey and cape May cafe
We love the dining at the hotels. We need to get to the French Quarter now that it’s reopened! -S
We are travelling, at least hope so, in May and will be staying in Animal Kingdom lodge. I'm happy this hotel is on the list :)
How can you get the later hours on certain days if you stay at the swan hotel? Just trying to figure out the extended hours. Thanks for all the help
I love watching these and unconsciously nodding my head like yep....that's right....I knew that.
I just found your channel and it's really helpful to plan a future trip to Disney World with my cousin. Do you happen to have a video or resource that shows gluten free options or what you think is the tastiest gluten free options available. Thank you for your consideration and help. :)
It's not updated but she did do one! I have celiac so I need to know the gf options too 😊
I have saved this for when my family goes again.🙂
I was hoping the Disney Skyliner could expand to Disney Springs and/or Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge but because of the economic problems the company has been having and the problems the system has experienced in its first few months of operation, I see that happening less and less these days.
Going to Disney in 7 days, gonna park hop from Animal Kingdom to Epcot…does anyone know if there is a straight shot to Epcot and if not, what route do I need to take to get to Epcot? Thanks for any feedback!
Would like information about Coronado Springs Resort.
If you stay at swan & dolphin are you able to book ILL at 7am? And get early park hours?
Hey DFB, You always mention "good neighbour hotels" but never fully explain what they are. Can you please cover some of the "good neighbour hotels" in a video. Could y'all do a short editorial on the best of the best or what to avoid or a general guide on good neighbour hotels and what you can get at different budgets in the WDW area? I can never afford to stay in even a value hotel with my family, but never know how to book or where to even start with non disney hotels.
Coming in September staying at Caribbean Beach ⛱️
We are planning a trip to Disney in February, we are definitely looking forward to our stay but this virus that's going around now makes it hard to get too excited we already put off one trip in October hopefully things will start to look up I do like your videos.
Every time we go to WDW, someone in our family gets sick. We’ve pretty much accepted this fact, and yet still go. That said, if everyone in your family is fully vaccinated, get exposed now. If you get omicron now, you won’t get it on your trip.
Strangely, Disneyland, the ground zero of the modern measles outbreak, none of us got sick in 2018 or 2021. Might be worth looking at in the future.
We went to Disney World in December. We felt like everything was clean, even in the parks. Masks were enforced inside. We wore them all the time. Everyone has different comfort levels, but we felt safe and nobody got sick. Have a wonderful trip!
The dolphin steak place is very good
There's always a bus. A 50 minute wait for bus? We've caught a Disney Springs hotel bus quicker than that. Uggghhh. Port Orleans is NICE! So sorry to hear the bus problem. We're going for the Boardwalk this time; hope it goes well. Whispering Canyon. My daughter is usually so serious, but she loves that restaurant. It's funny to see her ham it up, because she's usually not like that.
lol, doing a split stay in 8 days. Start at Swan and end at French Quarter.
My soon to be husband and I are going in March for our honeymoon right after our wedding. We can't afford the deluxe resorts so we're going to stay at the Caribbean beach resort. Ive never been there before but I feel like it's a better alternative for a honeymoon on a budget haha can't wait to also use the skyliners for the first time! Hopefully the lines won't be too bad but it will be spring break season
Is there any way when I can pay the hotel when I arrive and not in advance? Thanks!
Csn you do a ranking of all the character dining’s ? Like how you did for the hotels
a shout out to a great video. i am going in december 2022, so which hotel would u recommend. i have 4 days. 2 days magic kingdom. 1 day hollywood 1 day animal kingdom. which hotel will you recommend?
Can you do a video what food to eat in 2022 that’s worth your bucks
"Dorvs" instead of "dwarves" gets me every time.
Yep, she literally cannot say it. It's hilarious. Come on AJ, just say "DoWarves" real fast or even "Drawerves" will work.
I stayed in the Yacht Club hotel in December it was awesome we stayed on the top floor with a great view. The pool was huge it has a lazy river and a fairly tall water slide. We went to the boardwalk two different nights. It was really close to the skyliner that starts in Epcot so we rode that two times. We went to the Magic Kingdom one day and it wasn't that long of a drive. Overall I rate it a 10/10
Hmmm...I hope they improve the galactic starcruiser before it goes live. :P
I heard there was a resort called Shades of Green, is that a no longer existing hotel/resort?
I put some interesting thought I had right before, couldn´t be a highly possible opening Date for Cosmic Rewing appearing in JULY since they moved THOR 4 into JULY wouldn´t it make a lot of huge sense they would opening around that time tying in surrounded around that Movie Opening because the Guardians will appear in that Film as well. So could be like Disney would think as well early July bringing the COASTER as support for the Movie and vice versa.???
How do you think easily possible.
How far in advance should we book at the swan and dolphin?
Hello, I really appreciate your contents. But, it would've been much better if you provided "chapters" in your video, it would mean a lot to us who have short attention span. Thanks!
I love what you do
Hi AJ
We just returned to freezing England after 10 days at the Dolphin Hotel- what a fantastic time we had!
We previously stayed at Jumbo House Savanna view club level and thought that was ok ( a lot of travelling time to the parks and restrictions where food was concerned as it was included ) but boy! wished we had seen the light earlier and booked the Dolphin then! Our rooms faced Epcot so each night we saw not only the fireworks but the whole of spaceship earth in all its sublime colours. We also could walk ( 10 minutes) to the Boardwalk for any number of dining/ bar options it was excellent.
The choice of transport was great and the hotel was lovely with brilliant restaurant selections and a spa ( btw Kirk gives the best shoulder & head massage 👍)
It is as you say- “a no brainer” if you don’t mind getting away from Disney themed rooms yet all the Disney perks
( early park entry and transportation) .
Thanks for the heads up- We loved it! 💕
Thanks for this review! Considering staying here on my next trip in 3 years.
What’s the best options for hollystudios???
We were going to book Dolphin but I’ve been reading tons of recently posted bad reviews saying how dirty it is now. Anyone stayed there recently?
Disney has just had there 1st no1 song in uk with ‘we don’t talk about Bruno’
We will be going to Disney in a few weeks. Do you know if you still need a dining reservation to get into the Polynesian? We aren’t staying there but would like to visit and maybe go to Tambu lounge.
If you are unable to park at Polynesian, you could always park next door at TTC (it's a very short walk)
@@jayslo thank you!
Do you think Whispering Canyon Cafe will do the ketchup and horse races again anytime? We were so sad to hear they are a thing of the past.
im crying as i watch this because even though i have the money to go, when i search up how many arrests where is Disney october 2022 alone the answers i got were shocking. i loved going to disney as a child but i will no longer be going now that ive found out what is rly behind that fun looking mickey mask
Well done…
Aj have you guys ever thought about doing podcast? I would enjoy listening to all this in podcasts so that I listen and drive down the road since I am a trucker.
The figment popcorn bucket will it be around till end of the 50th or stop after the art ahow. Thanks
They apparently sold out yesterday with the line only an hour long. We go in 8 days, so let’s hope they get more in soon. I think it was supposed to be a festival thing, but why on earth would they not make it year round?
When camping at Fort Wilderness, I never found it hard to get to the Magic Kingdom.
I vote Port Orleans French Quarter!
My family loves the swan and doplhin resorts, we've already booked a room there for our vacation this summer. A bit bummed about the recent change with transportation, now the buses drop you off at the transportation and ticket center at Magic Kingdom.
I was wondering. I swore they used to not.
@@UmmYeahOk I beleive they switched from using official Disney buses to using Mears buses. It's inconvivent really. I've been trying to figure out if it's possible to walk over the the yacht and beach club and get a bus from there but I'm not having much luck.
@@isabelkaizer clever hack. I think Boardwalk may be slightly closer. I’d do that myself if I were staying on our MK day.
I bet what happened is Disney built more deluxe resorts and villas, and needed their bus stop.
@@UmmYeahOk Thanks for the tip.
That might be so, too bad the S and D had to lose one of their great perks though.
Opinion between Coronado and French quarter? This will be our second stay at Coronado, but thinking of doing a split stay. We have said French Quarter for the beignets.
French quarter!!!
If you're staying at Coronado, opt for the new Gran Destino tower. Luxury accommodations and amenities for a moderate price. And like the French Quarter small enough to only have ONE bus stop, which can be a major benefit. Stayed at the Old Key West last year; incredible resort and rooms, but 5 bus stops. We quickly learned to go the the FIRST stop on the route, because the stop nearest to us was the last of the 5, and the bus would often arrive completely full. I will say that French Quarter has a fantastic feel and theming; it is also small enough to be manageable. You'll be walking around the parks all day--an additional long walk to your room at the end of the day can add stress that doesn't belong in a Disney vacation.
I stayed at Coronado in 2018, Casita 4 to be exact and looooved it. The bus station was directly behind our building and was never busy. It is a HUGE resort, so keep that in mind. I was tired from just walking to the main building and back lol. This all being said, I plan to stay at FQ next time for the beignets and to compare! I would do a split stay If I were you!
Recently stayed at Gran Destino and have stayed at French Quarter before. I would personally choose French Quarter if I had to choose between the two. Coronado is nice but is way too much of a hassle with the buses and the resort just feels chaotic (maybe because I was there during a cheerleading convention lol) French Quarter is much more relaxing and is steps away from Riverside and a boat ride away from Disney Springs if you want more dining options.
Coronado is nice, but I think maybe give the French Quarter a chance. Nothing wrong with having a home away from home resort, but never shy away from trying out new places.
Hello again
We are staying at art of animation 1/22-1/29. I read the sky liner will only be closed on the Epcot route. Is this accurate?
WDW Magazine says: "The Skyliner will be closed at the International Gateway, Disney's Riviera Resort, and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort from Sunday, Jan. 23 to Thursday, Jan. 28, 2022." It sounds like the route from Art of Animation to Hollywood Studios will still be open.
We were at Port Orleans a week ago and they did not do the boozy beignets.. :(
@9:05 insert Emperor Palpatine
What’s the best hotel for like an engagement weekend ?
Grand Floridian is probably the most romantic
Other ideas: The beach at the Poly with the fireworks show in the background, super romantic, OR, if you’ve got an animal lover, a safari view room at Animal Kingdom Lodge
Do you have this for Disneyland?
Still sounds like AJ is saying "Snow White and the Seven Dorfs" - You're not from Boston, are you AJ? 😜
You may have thought that but no..she has said in past videos that she is from Texas.
Animal Kingdom Lodge gets my vote.
I have only ever stayed at Hilton Hotel the quality is outstanding and it is very affordable. Couldn't imagine degrading my nights stay and paying more to be at a Disney hotel.
Whats the transportation to the parks from Port Orleans hotel? I know nothing! 🤷🏻♀️
They have busses to all parks.
We stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter and it was a very short walk and wait for a bus to the Magic Kingdom.
BTW, it's a lovely quiet hotel. Beautiful park like grounds and nice restaurant and bar.
@@marieborchardt2910 thank you!
Can't have a proper Hawaiian meal without Spam.
Disney French quarter
Hey AJ. Love your stuff. BUT in passing you mention that "you can take the Skyliner if you want to" from Dolphin and Swan...Um... can you? I mean you could Skyline to Hollywood Studios and walk and walk... But the way you said it in passing sounds almost like these hotels have Skylier service... which you know they do not.. nitpicking but new people might be confused by this.
Is that Nickelodeon studios in the intro?
TRIVIA for AJ and for you: The Swan hotel has two concrete swans on its roof. The Dolphin has two concrete ... fish?! Why aren't they dolphins?!
Look up Midway to Main Street. His entire channel is worth a watch, but he answered that question in his video “Why is there a fish on top of Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel?” It’s a renaissance era interpretation of what a dolphin might look like to someone who had never seen one before. Apparently they have similar “dolphins,” at the Italy pavilion in EPCOT.
@@UmmYeahOk Very interesting answer but I don't think it's correct. I may eventually post the answer.
It’s a dolphinfish not a dolphin (mammal) that you’re thinking of.
@@matty4855 BINGO! The animal on the top of the Dolphin hotel is a dolphin FISH. Never heard ot it? That's because you can't sell it as food. Few people would order a dolphin sandwich or entree; nobody wants to eat Flipper! But they WILL order "mahi-mahi", the Hawaiian name for that fish.
On a recent trip I ate at bluezoo, the seafood restaurant at the Dolphin. When I saw mahi-mahi on the menu, I couldn't resist ordering it, telling my server it was an appropriate selection. He had no idea what I was talking about, so I had to explain it...
Is Disney World not doing $200 deposit no more when planning your Vacation?
They are when you have a vacation package 📦
Maybe it depends on the resort. I booked Art of Animation and had to do a $200 deposit. You may need to call Disney or you can go online to Disney's website and chat with a representative to confirm.
@@morgancolley1957 Thank you! Figured it out I was not doing a Vacation package.

Shades Of Green?
Perhaps it’s exclusiveness makes it not worth mentioning. No one is going to join the army just so that they can stay there. You have to be active military or a retired officer of 20 or more years. If you were a Sargent, and earned a bronze star in Vietnam, they don’t care. You have to stay elsewhere.
@joseph basten must be a new promotion. Used to just be Purple Heart/disabled during service vets. Oh well. My father already died, probably due to exposure from serving. At least that’s what my mom believes. Even if he were alive, the promotion would probably expire before we ever got the form to prove he served. I don’t know how we got the fancy foot stone and taps played at his funeral. Friend of the family had to pull some crazy strings. It definitely wasn’t something his widow was capable of doing, and she tried.
I will pass this info to my father in law though. He is also a veteran, not disabled, and still living.
Sounds like the chick who narrates the "WatchMojo" videos sister or something 😂
"No animal views, but..."
shows a *gorgeous* piece of prime rib roast beef
Yeah, I beg to differ. Those are exactly the animal views that I want to see.
they should add Encanto to Disney world cus it is Disney
I would love to see a Colombian restaurant in Epcot!
First to like video
Of course shades of green doesn’t even get mentioned. Literally the best resort for the price. Yes it’s military only but I’m sure a ton of your viewers are military.
Jesus loves you he died on the cross for your sins. All you have to do is believe in him and you will be saved. ❤ ✝️
