When I was 11 I had a mental age of 19 very few adults could understand why my vocabulary was better than theirs and several times if I joined a conversation before somone saw me they assumed I was much older and did I double take when they realised I was 11 by the age of 13 I was actually organising adults and advising politicians and helped run an election campaign that nearly got an mp in to parliament I can understand that people would consider 11 to be quite old
stopp it actually makes me so sad that there are parents who would allow their kids to "transition" when their literally like 6. Boys can like girly things and still be boys
Given the fact that I was 11 when I first started to learn about me being a trans girl, but being too scared to accept it for myself in any true way until I was 18, it is very interesting to watch this. I desperately wish I could’ve grown up in an environment where I could be free to express myself. Sadly, I wasn’t though. Living as myself at this age would’ve been my dream. I did show signs as a younger child, but I was not really allowed to publicly show them.
This is how I was, I remember praying to God every night to give me the right parts. I never knew the terms or that hormones even existed but I knew that I was different. I am so grateful kids have this information now and can be who they truly are. Also, disregard the troll, these bigots cannot truly appreciate all of God's creation.
A lot of people don’t seem to understand that the symptoms of this condition can become apparent from as young as 3. Putting your child on Puberty Blockers before Puberty hits if they display symptoms of this condition is the right thing to do. It will lessen the chances of suicide and the development of severe G/SD [Gender/Sex Dysphoria], as well as lessening the chances of developing the common comorbidities, such as Depression and Anxiety Disorders.

A girl brain and a girl heart. What does that even mean? Can a boy not also be sensitive and compassionate, grow their hair long and play with dolls? Can a girl not climb trees and play rough? We define gender tighter than when I grew up in the 70s.
Girl brain is like thicker corpus collosum, thicker anterior collosum, size ratio of amygdala to hypothalamus consistent with female gender... "Girl heart" is just metaphorical and about subjective feelings
A TRUTH BOMB: Westernized civilization, like America, is greedy enough to capitalize on the trans movement and tell you the lie that you’re born in the wrong body and that mother nature made a mistake but in reality, science and biology don’t make mistakes when you’re born a boy or a girl, and no matter how delusional and brainwashed someone gets, they are still what they were born as. If you’re a feminine man or a masculine woman so what… but we should all learn to love the body that we were born into because we’re all lucky to be alive, God dammit; people don’t have enough gratitude or appreciation for just how amazing their body is, and if you listen to the music and watch Disney movies in America, then you’re going to be given the red Kool-Aid that doesn’t lead to happiness, but instead a lie for others (doctors) to capitalize on.

I’m female and when I was a kid I loved to dress in boys clothing, play with action figures and toy swords, dress up as a knight, etc. Eventually grew out of it, and now I’m super girly. Parents should be careful allowing kids to make such important decisions that have permanent consequences based on what could have been a temporary phase. Edit: I understand being a tom boy and transgender are different. I’m just pointing out the changes we go through in life, so I’m saying be careful and take some time to really consider before making such drastically permanent decisions.
How is being a tomboy the same as being trans? You are conflating gender expression (masculinity and femininity) and gender identity (female, male and other). Being trans is more than how you behave and dress.
No one else finds it odd that so many kids are transitioning in the last few years seems like ever since it started being shown more in schools, tv shows, movies, social media ect more and more kids r becoming trans. I wonder what would happen if we weren’t so open about this would so many ppl / kids still become trans.

I feel like 11 year olds, no matter how mature they are, shouldn’t be making a big decision like that. It’s okay for them to ask to be referred to as a girl if they truly feel female but I don’t think they should alter their bodies yet (like hormones or surgery). There’s too many kids (and adults) who transition and regret it later in life. Sometimes it’s really hard for people detransition and it puts them in a horrible mental state I hope the girls in this video are truly happy with being female later in life. They seem like smart kids, I just really hope that don’t make an irreversible decision they’ll regret
As a 30+ yrs trans i dream to be able to return to my 11 and have a possibility to transition at that age. Due to family/close relatives where all this was prohibited and the society where it was condemned, the resulting consequences like a training programme what I should do to fit the role i must live according to assigned gender was really huge challenge
The "Nobody: " meme almost never makes sense. It was initially meant as a joke about someone saying or doing something completely unexpected and out of nowhere, but in this case it makes _tons of sense_ that people would be talking about what they did at 11 given the topic of the video, and literally *_tons of people_* are commenting about it which is the _complete opposite_ of "Nobody" - it's such a bad joke at this point.
Let kids express themselves however they want through clothes, activity choices, hair, ... Parents should love them unconditionally and be their security and comfort But it is a crime if a doctor or a parent gives them any hormones, puberty blockers or sterilizes them It is bad for their physical and emotional health especially at a young age where their body and brain is still developing, and could cause permanent damage, and as parents we should protect our children from any harm Once they become adults, they are free to choose however they wish their body to look like But what's most beautiful is when parents teach their kids to love themselves as they are, because a lot of things in life are NOT in our own hands, not everything that happens to us is in our control, learning acceptance of certain things as they are, brings so much love to our hearts and peace to our souls 💞 I speak from my own struggles and experiences that I've overcome 🙏🏻

I wish I had such a confidence all my entire life to say: “This is who I am, respect me. If you don’t like it, go over there.” I am not a transgender, I just never felt like I really deserve nice treatment. Times are changing. It’s good. I was just a child and everyone was saying me to stay calm and follow the rules of my house. Adults had all the rights.
Literally it's actually not that hard to figure out when from a young age you have media not because it influences you because it educates you on terms that you might be so you do research and stuff and take time to think and figure out.
@d bYou also can't make someone Transgender That's something someone must find on there own. These "influences" you say can't make a child Transgender but they can make them feel more positive and more open about themselves. So what your saying sounds pretty ignorant and discriminating.
d b It’s not an adult choice that they’re making. Currently, they’ve only socially transitioned, meaning they have time to change their mind. They aren’t getting surgery or anything. They’re just using different names and pronouns. If they decide later that they were wrong, then it doesn’t change anything because they never did anything medically.
*This is very irrelevant but when she said "when an eight year old tells you they're in the wrong body" it reminded me of Freaky Friday* -You can continue the video now-
I completely support them. I do agree they should wait until they're older to COMPLETELY transition, but you should at least let them wear skirts, have long hair, etc. 💖
In almost all cases transgender teens are only given puberty blocker medications, to delay puberty until they are at least 18, at which point, they can choose to take exogenous hormones or stop taking the blockers so their endogenous hormones can kick in. Taking puberty blockers gives kids a few extra years before the irreversible changes of puberty take place. For a trans child who grows up to be a trans adult, taking blockers can save a lot of stress and pain, because many changes of puberty are irreversible or require risky intervention to modify later in life.

Learn actual information before making assumptions and conclusion based on them. Underage patients after numerous interviews, discussions with experts and thorough research (which will be less interesting and sound like meager statistics for a RUclips video) patients start taking *puberty blockers* (not the same by far) which simply does not allow their hormones to break the body and mind by adjusting to the needs of testosterone/estrogen. *When* they reach adulthood and make their conscious decision >*then* they can begin to take opposite hormones or cancel the blocking which will result in their own natural masculinization/feminization. All this is easy to find out if you find a little free time to make sure
When I was a transgender girl back in the 70’s and 80’s things was so different! You girls are lucky that society is more open to this then when I was growing up! I am. Now 52 and my transition is now compete. The process is long and sometimes hard! You girls has one thing that I ever had at your ages! A great friendship and network of support! Wish you girls luck as you journey down this path! And parents ignore the uneducated people! And take this opportunity to educate the ignorant people that has no idea. I tell people it’s more harmful not to let a kid transition!
Kyle Broflovski The fact you say this with the pp of Kyle pisses me to no extent, transitioning, when done right, is healthy, and is the cure to gender dysphoria.
Stacy Araceli Pifher It’s great they’re young and can take hormone blockers for awhile. I’m guessing you weren’t able to do that. I would think it’d be a lot easier for trans people to be able to try to prevent secondary sex characteristics of theirs from developing, then when they’re old enough, they can take the hormone needed to develop into the female (or male) they were born to be. You’re right-it’s so much better than it was, but the world still has a way to go! ✌️
Now that I think about it, almost everyone and anyone in the LGBTQ+ community or with a disorder (or anything that sets them apart from the rest) has a higher risk of being bullied or talked about, in the negative way.
i think that children should be able to socially transition at any age and present as whichever gender they want but they should wait until at least 17/18 to start a medical transition to stop them from making bed decisions and having to detransition
The suicide rate is 50% for trans people including kids if you made all trans kids transition medically at 17/18 who knows how high that number would get
By the time puberty has run its course, the kids' bodies will be irreversibly altered. Believe it or not, most regular boys don't want to be a girl by the time they're in middle school. Personally, I only realized my situation and started to medically transition at age 17, and I wish I'd had the resources and acceptance before puberty that these kids do. If I'd known back then, and was allowed to go through the puberty of the correct gender, I wouldn't hate the body and face I have today. I'm slowly fixing the damage done to my body because of testosterone, but there's certain things I'll never be able to reverse with hormone therapy. I hope you change your mind on this issue, because I never want any of these children to have to go through the same pain I have. Knowing that I might never be seen as a girl in the eyes of society, and that I could potentially be murdered, or have my basic human rights taken away at any moment. The world today is not safe for trans people, and this kind of gatekeeping in the healthcare system is a massive part of the problem.
Standard practice is puberty blockers as they start puberty (10-12) which just delay puberty until they are ready, and hormones at 16 or older but sometimes younger depending on the case. Surgery is typically saved until they are 18+ Most credible doctors take all aspects of the case into account in helping people transition or not

I did not understand and i am the kind of person to always want to be supportive and accepting. I know now though. What i learned in a philosophy class in university helped me figure it out. Thinking about it using logic: At the age of 12 (Or however old as a kid) did you "finally" know who you were? Have it all figured out pertaining to "who you were meant to be"? No child knows that, transgender or not. We seem to think the same rules don't apply to transgender children and that's crazy. Another point: All transgender people describe this feeling of not liking a part of themselves - even hating it. They describe this DEEP dissatisfaction within themselves. Since when is it physiologically healthy to change something on the OUTSIDE and expect it to change who you are on the INSIDE. From a psychology standpoint (which is my background) that method won't work and will only lead to deeper dissatisfaction and also a sense of hopelessness on top of that. This leads me to my next and final point: When a person, for whatever reason, WILLINGLY decides to cut off or surgically (or horomonally) ulter a PERFECTLY HEALTHY AND FUNCTIONAL part of their body in hopes that it will make them feel better on the inside, that is no longer simply ineffective but has now become a very mentally unstable thing to do. People usually only consider surgically or horomonally altering their bodies as a LAST RESORT when faced with a serious illness. As you can see i have thought about this extensively and deeply in a caring and logical way. I DO believe these people FEEL the need to change their gender. However i believe that doing so will only further harm and confuse them. The issues that need to be addressed here are Mental and not physical. There are also issues with "transitioning" as people report always feeling "different" than natural born people of the gender they transitioned to. They STILL report feeling uncomfortable in their own bodies for that reason. They can also experience something called "Gender Disphoria" where they are disasociatrd from their bodies. This is classified as a mental illness. There is so much more i can say but basically when you get down to the root cause of it it all stems from the mentality. Therefore to treat something with a PHYSICAL treatment when the root cause is Mental does not make logical sense and will Never be effective. There are videos on RUclips about "De- transitioning" where older people who have undergone transgender procedures are now in regret saying it did not help them and only made there issues worse and more confusing. I'll try to comment a link here. I hope that had helped you. As a professional working in the social service feild i Do Not Have any hatred towards people who feel out of place in their sex. I'm risking my health and family relation for DIY'ing hormones just because I can't handle myself to suffer every time my body grows masculine. Besides, I've already told my parents about this when I was 12. Yet they only retaliated in anger and denial. So here I am taking my pills each night hoping they'll never found out. allow them to transition. but wait for surgery or estrogen supplements until they are fifteen- because their bodies can’t handle it at such a young age
I don’t know why people think they’re performing surgery and giving hormones to children. THEY ARENT. u have to be 18 to get surgery and they don’t do anything involving hormones until the child is just starting their biological puberty. Then they give them blockers. Which r completely reversible. And then they end up going through puberty later than most kids around 14-15.
There was a time in my life that I honestly believed that the word transgender and the word kid/child should not be used in the same sentence. I believed it was something that kids should not think about, that they should be just being kids, but I did plenty of research and discovered that many kids cannot be kids if they are not happy in their own body. If they are too busy trying to figure out why they don't feel like they are happy with who they are, there is no time to truly live life. I know of many situations of which kids keep their thoughts inside until they are adults to avoid huge family conflicts. That does not permanently make that go away. It will usually still happen even if they wait until adulthood to speak of it. That and saying it early makes a huge difference in a child's mental development. There is tons of information that is just not deniable. There's cases of kids who do come out young but are not accepted and sometimes forced to act as if those feelings do not exist and continue being who they are in that moment. All that does is create a very stressed, depressed, and reclusive child. I have learned so much and my opinion is to let them be them. There will be struggles and ups and downs, but overall you'll have a happier kid.

A TRUTH BOMB:
Westernized civilization, like America, is greedy enough to capitalize on the trans movement and tell you the lie that you’re born in the wrong body and that mother nature made a mistake but in reality, science and biology don’t make mistakes when you’re born a boy or a girl, and no matter how delusional and brainwashed someone gets, they are still what they were born as.

Let kids express themselves however they want through clothes, activity choices, hair, ... Parents should love them unconditionally and be their security and comfort
But it is a crime if a doctor or a parent gives them any hormones, puberty blockers or sterilizes them
It is bad for their physical and emotional health especially at a young age where their body and brain is still developing, and could cause permanent damage, and as parents we should protect our children from any harm
Once they become adults, they are free to choose however they wish their body to look like
But what's most beautiful is when parents teach their kids to love themselves as they are, because a lot of things in life are NOT in our own hands, not everything that happens to us is in our control, learning acceptance of certain things as they are, brings so much love to our hearts and peace to our souls 💞

Well not as hard when we didn't have media to educate us on terms

That's weird
Love your PFP lmao.

Stacy Araceli Pifher It’s great they’re young and can take hormone blockers for awhile. I’m guessing you weren’t able to do that. I would think it’d be a lot easier for trans people to be able to try to prevent secondary sex characteristics of theirs from developing, then when they’re old enough, they can take the hormone needed to develop into the female (or male) they were born to be.

i think that children should be able to socially transition at any age and present as whichever gender they want but they should wait until at least 17/18 to start a medical transition to stop them from making bed decisions and having to detransition
That's how I feel too.
i’m pretty sure that you have to be at least 16/17 to start hormones anyway

And if the suicide rate is over 40% that's also fantastic?
If killing people makes you happy are you still going to encourage that
It's interesting how much people rely on "feelings".
Let's fight mental illness together.
NO NO NO NO NO NO LGBTQ+ PRIDE
This leads me to my next and final point:
When a person, for whatever reason, WILLINGLY decides to cut off or surgically (or horomonally) ulter a PERFECTLY HEALTHY AND FUNCTIONAL part of their body in hopes that it will make them feel better on the inside, that is no longer simply ineffective but has now become a very mentally unstable thing to do.
I simply want to HELP in the most effective way possible. I hope this helped you to at least consider the possibility of what i have learned. 🌅😄 I want to help make the planet a happier and healthier place for people to live in ♥
Alex LG I really appreciate this reply. Thank you for articulating my thoughts so beautifully in ways I wasn’t sure how to
@@alexlg9521 Alex LG as a man that has completed my transition many years ago, I know that the majority of this is wrong. There isn't a sense of dissatisfaction after hormones and surgeries, instead I'm completely comfortable and proud of who I am. I'm no longer disgusted with my body.
With that in mind, Gender Dysphoria is definitely a mental illness, that I agree with. And the people who rush into it quickly are more likely to detransition because they've not taken the necessary precautions to ensure that what they are doing is correct. Nowadays that's even more comman due to the suddenly hype over gender.
But before I was even allowed to transition I was given years worth of intensive psychology help before my doctors came to the conclusion that I was transgender. Physical and chemical treatment was not my first form of treatment.

@Cookie it’s nice that you try to look at the bright side of things but the rabbit does no have an ex pen. When I was 11, I started puberty. That's when I knew I was trans since I experienced symptoms of gender dysphoria.
I'm now 15 and medically transitioning. Unfortunately, I have to fend for my self. My family are extremely transphobic, that's why I'm in the closet. But it's imperative that I start HRT in order to stop puberty, so I got a part-time job.
My mom already found out about it, which I'm relieved when I managed to persuade her it's just 'candies'. I'm afraid for my future once, but at least now, knowing I won't live forever with irreversible masculine features, I can be at peace.
Wish you the best of luck 💖
How did you convince a doctor to prescribe you drugs without parental approval? You must not be from the US because what you're saying sounds incredibly illegal and would also be on your medical record, which your parents have access to.
You had it right the first time.
