- This is one of my favorite James Taylor songs. His finger-style playing is so inspiring for me -- his mastery of thumb and finger independence as well as a his rhythmic variation, never relying on one pattern, but always shifting smoothly from one to another.
Hope you enjoy my take on one of JT's all time classics.

A really accurate portrayal of the guitar part from the original. Nice work!
and yet, he really made it his own. Usually if I am learning the songs I've been listening to for 50 years, I want to nail them as close to the original recording as possible. But George seems to always blend in his own style and approach. It is my favorite thing about his covers, finding out how he will interpret them, and it's always brilliant.

Just wondering you do such a a great job on covers sometimes better than the original artist but happen to be lyrically challenged l can't string 3 words together that make sence.good songwriting well I am in awe of.l would like to do cover tunes as effectively as you do but they always come off as my version of the song .but you have the rare ability to make the song your own but stay close to the original. Best in what you do. Your music brings pure joy to my life and all the people that follow you..Good on you for sharing all of talent with us.
