Most people in the comment section have no idea how important a low latency in FPV. This is a ideal only for a slow moving vehicle like crawler.

You can rig up a can of pepper spray with a servo horn hitting the trigger. I did ot on one of my fpv builds but never had to use it

yes
It will have horrible delay, but you'll just have to limit how you use it because of that. You definitely won't be able to race competitively. I remember when someone tried this with drones over the internet and they could just barely fly a betaflight style quad without crashing because of the delay. And that was with a lower latency link than this (real ISP connections, not 4G cell tower). Still an awesome idea.

Is this system specifically designed for the Traxxas vehicle? Do others just not use the transmission shifting controls? Does this still work with the regular transmitter? We’re not forced to drive it by the phone, right? Is there a simpler, less costly version for a vehicle that only uses the steering and ESC channels? No offense, but $89 for the battery box is a little high. Looks great. Thanks.
I think this would work on any rc wehicle with the standard 2,4 ghz transmitter But i don't know that you can use a standard transmitter for this
