This is so true!! When I had to live with my cousin. I use to complain to an ex about how my cousin’s evil behavior towards me. This fool would laugh and ask me how come I don’t allow HIM to treat me like how my cousin treats me. He would say oh you stand up to me but not your cousin. Men will look at what you allow and give you more of it ! weather it’s good or not! It’s best to keep your private family dramas to yourself as they can see it as some time of weakness and excuse to mistreat you!

Tony I had to come back and rewatch this after simply asking a pastor in my family for prayer. To be berated judged... I walked away and he started YELLING that I was the devil! Satan really showed up and it wasn’t in me... I’m glad I walked away. And I’m sick of everyone in my family.
I always tell my sister that, if someone go to jail for something they have made a decision to do, I will not be making visits nor putting money on the books. You are on punishment not vacation, you have free room and board and 3 meals a day, you do not need extra for snacks.
Okay!!! My mama too girl she complain about her sister(my aunt) to me, but run over there every weekend. My grown ass brother still staying at home doing whatever he want. Her fiancé (of 3 years) ain’t no better, his kids crazy too. So much dysfunction but I’m expected to answer the phone for her to vent. I set that boundaries- MAKE SOME CHANGES! Don’t vent to me. My life is peaceful miles away and I’m working on myself to attract a healthy partner ✅
This last part though this is exactly what I been saying. People want to be toxic then come back like its all good. No apology just drop back in your life. Still can't take accountability. And most likely haven't changed or they would know how to come back the right way with their pride laid to the side.
This message gave me some unexpected insight into why my ex husband treated me the way he did. So many parallels of behavior with him and my mom. They couldn't stand each other, but they could've been siblings as far as the way they acted towards me, and got angry when I told them that! In the end, I had to block both of them. The people who should've been the closest to me were in fact tearing me apart, unsupportive and envious. The people who don't want you to set boundaries are the ones that want ready access to you and your resources. They get quiet and listen carefully when you speak about getting tired of and distancing yourself from toxic people. Like you said Tony, Ben those knees and Pat your feet getting out of there! My...my...my...I struggled with a toxic mother and siblings for years and was burdened with guilt trying to honor the "blood is thicker than water" cliche. This guilt made me continue in toxicity, stress and heartache from them. I finally found peace after I cut them off. This video is confirmation for me.

Tony I am from South Africa, and the rampant drug use and abuse in Cape Town, drug-addicted family members living in their families yards as backyard dwellers is a norm. And it is an indication of how toxic the entire family is and how codependent everybody in the family system are on one another.

I recently saw one of your videos and I was hooked after. I had to learn how to set boundaries and distant myself from toxic family members and friends. It no longer hurt me to cut people off. My peace of mind is my top priority because that is what I want in my life and my kids life. I have to take care of my mental health in order to take care of them the way they should be taken care of. So cutting people off is super easy.

VERY POWERFUL video. You have to set BOUNDARIES for EVERYONE in your life. That’s just life. People will run over you if you allow them to. I don’t care how sweet they are, if you let them THEY WILL. People take kindness for weakness and you have to call them on it.

This is so true!! When I had to live with my cousin. I use to complain to an ex about how my cousin’s evil behavior towards me. This fool would laugh and ask me how come I don’t allow HIM to treat me like how my cousin treats me. He would say oh you stand up to me but not your cousin. Men will look at what you allow and give you more of it ! weather it’s good or not! It’s best to keep your private family dramas to yourself as they can see it as some time of weakness and excuse to mistreat you!

I always tell my sister that, if someone go to jail for something they have made a decision to do, I will not be making visits nor putting money on the books. You are on punishment not vacation, you have free room and board and 3 meals a day, you do not need extra for snacks.

No apology just drop back in your life. Still can't take accountability. And most likely haven't changed or they would know how to come back the right way with their pride laid to the side.
This message gave me some unexpected insight into why my ex husband treated me the way he did. So many parallels of behavior with him and my mom. They couldn't stand each other, but they could've been siblings as far as the way they acted towards me, and got angry when I told them that! In the end, I had to block both of them. The people who should've been the closest to me were in fact tearing me apart, unsupportive and envious. The people who don't want you to set boundaries are the ones that want ready access to you and your resources. They get quiet and listen carefully when you speak about getting tired of and distancing yourself from toxic people. Like you said Tony, Ben those knees and Pat your feet getting out of there! I thank God for you 🙏

I recently saw one of your videos and I was hooked after. I had to learn how to set boundaries and distant myself from toxic family members and friends. It no longer hurt me to cut people off. My peace of mind is my top priority because that is what I want in my life and my kids life. I have to take care of my mental health in order to take care of them the way they should be taken care of. So cutting people off is super easy.
