Troy vs LSU. Idk what year but that one was a huge one for a homecoming upset. Also if I remember right Troy had an amazing tweet after the game. So if you do a part three and put that game in, could you add the tweet if you find it?
There’s something so human about seeing the entire home crowd get silenced. It’s also comforting to see that it happens to every fan base bc man it sucks when it happens to you
That OSU team could have about 80% of their 14 wins from that year on this list. Sheesh that was a crazy year. I was 13 and remember watching Maurice Claret dive into the end zone in the second overtime to win with my dad. Id always been an OSU fan, but watching that season with my dad really solidified it as a special thing for us. Thanks for the memories!!!
That iron bowl comeback was so epic. We had a district playoff game the same day (i think we played sat because a trop storm hit earlier in the week) and we watched the 4th qtr in the locker room while taping up before warm ups and we got so hyped lol. Our QB was a scrambler and he kept saying in warm ups he was gonna have a cam newton day. He ended up playing amazing and we won like 35-7. It was such an epic day lol
Yeah but unfortunately that Tech loss wasn't as bad as that Texas loss in 08 was... We had the world in our hands and Blake Gideon let that interception slip out his hands...
I love the OSU/Purdue touchdown - the player catches the ball in an unbelievably exciting moment, then turns around and gives the ball to the ref. No showboating, no dancing, no choreographed celebrations, no posturing to the crowd or mugging for the camera. They celebrated on the sidelines. Nice.
What a lot of ppl forget about that WVU-TX game is WV converted a 2 pt play to Sills that was called back right before Grier had that epic run in and the chance to throw the Horns Down at the fans. What an incredible game!
5:34 As a Clemson fan, I can attest that, even as a freshman, Calvin Johnson was a nightmare to deal with as he had three touchdown catches in this game alone.
I remember watching the Nebraska / Missouri game 8:55 on TV. Against all odds, Missouri was playing out of their heads and was beating a much superior team to the delight of their home fans. Missouri winning would have been a HUGE upset! And that diving catch in the end zone off a deflected pass with no time left on the clock not only tied the game (eventually won by Nebraska in OT), but it also saved the Cornhuskers' undefeated season! It was one of the most crushing near-upsets I've ever witnessed in college football.
The UCLA/WAZZU comeback was UNFRICKINGREAL! I remember watching that game and thinking it would be a blowout, but when DTR started throwing dimes, my jaw started to drop. one of the wildest comebacks of all time
@@kevinpayton2664 and the worst part is that those nine TD's was a new school record that should have been celebrated, but got completely overshadowed by the fact that we blew a freaking 32 point lead to one of the worst offenses at the time......
Thank you for taking my suggestion on it! Oddly enough I gave up watching it with 5 minutes to go and clemson up 10 for the second time in the 4th quarter!
The worst part was the first 4th quarter touchdown for Calvin Johnson. Not only did he blantantly push off, he burned future 2nd round pick Justin Miller all day long.
Between a four-game losing streak at the start of the season (which began with the loss to GT), losing to Duke a week after beating Miami (FL) and not bowling after the brawl that occurred near the end of the South Carolina game, 2004 was a tough year to be a Clemson fan.

I’m not sure about Missouri vs South Carolina. It was an exciting ending with the missed field goal but not sure I’d call it a miracle. Oklahoma vs Tennessee is a good one.
