Well you have to consider college football has way more teams and more games played in any single year. Creates more chances for plays like this to happen.
No it really proves that whoever made this video hates Tennessee and only put the bad things they did. They had 2 hail marry plays last year for touchdowns he just didn’t want to add those I guess:/
11:00 u have about 30 seconds to get ready... then u get like 20 players on the field... then u mess up the snap... yep... u r rly lucky for that penalty...
Thanks for putting these together! These are always some of my videos. The only suggestions I still have for A&M plays that could be included in the future are the butt fumble vs Auburn (2014, Auburn was driving and probably was going to score but then a fumble by the center that A&M jumped on sealed it) and the play by Manziel in the 2013 Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl where he jumps over a Duke offensive lineman before throwing a touchdown pass. I’m not sure if the second one would be considered more of a miracle or a highlight though. On a separate note, the miracle in Baton Rouge (the one you included in this video) was truly insane. I’d never seen that before
Thanks for posting that painful reminder of the Tennessee LSU finish! But if this doesn't get you fired up for football season, then I don't know what will.
Definitely App State beating Michigan. Also Michigan State's comeback vs Baylor in the Cotton Bowl. One good clip is the blocked fieldgoal were the kicker gets lit up on the return.
That game haunts my dreams. It effectively ended Michigan's program for the next 3 years. I legit have no memory of 2008-2010, I blocked it out. All I remember is that it was bad.
I saw that too & by rule it says any receiver who by ANY MEANS has gone out off bounds may not be first to touch any pass! Being forced out doesn’t matter, receiver still can’t be first to touch any pass!
That LSU-Kentucky game at 13:00 was great because Kentucky players threw Gatorade on their coach right before that Hail Mary TD. Must’ve been an embarrassing handshake after the game between coaches.
Everyone Hylights spends a long time making these vids and they are very good. If you want to hate go make your own videos rather than complaining about a clip that he didn't include. He's not being baised or anything and he does his best so if you have something to say keep it to yourself and try making a video yourself since you can do so much better than him and you think his vids aren't accurate. For those of you who complimented him or didn't have anything mean to say, have a great rest of your day☺️
13:58 I remember watching this game only Halloween with my grandparents. Marcus mariota got injured in the game.... so the secondary QB lucky stepped in and.... Well... We lost because of it -_-
Grant Haley: returns blocked field goal for game winning touchdown against Ohio State and makes game ending 4th and 1 tackle on Corey Clement to win the Big Ten Title Marcus Edmond: Makes game ending tackle a yard short on 4th and 12 against Louisville and makes game ending interception against NC State Just 2 random defensive backs who shined when the moment was brightest
Hey, you (Tennessee) had lucky wins against Georgia in 2015 & 2016. 2017? No shaft, you have to make it close for that. Just an utter, total, embarrassing wipe-out loss.
In 2015 (in Knoxville) GA lost Nick Chubb on the first or second play of the game (and had nowhere near the depth at running back as in 2017), and had a touchdown pass dropped by a wide open receiver fairly late in the fourth quarter. In 2016 (in Athens) on the "Luck Scale" Georgia's play was about a '2' compared to UTs Hail Mary which was a '10.' Will you give me my characterization of 2017? 2001 was a great finish, similar to 2016, with the roles reversed.
It's a great rivalry, for sure, but that's what makes college football the greatest spectator sport. I *thought* I'd seen BIG TIME college football at Stanford in 1968 - OJ (a great, great football player before he became known for other things..., like the Naked Gun movies), ran for 220 in a 27 - 24 win over Jim Plunkett and Stanford. Then I saw Big 10 games at Michigan State, and realized how casually the sport was treated on the west coast, at least at Stanford. (I've been to well over 200 games in-person, and watched thousands on TV, and the most intense, exciting game I've ever seen was MSU/Ohio State in 1974 ruclips.net/video/dXPgk8XM2e8/видео.html . In 1975 I moved here (Athens, GA) and began 43 years of watching the SEC. I was told that in the South, the Bible Belt, college football was as important as religion. Well, it quickly became obvious that that claim was ridiculous. It's far, far more important than religion. And it's hard not to be infected with the enthusiasm. You *care* about the outcomes, especially of those rivalry games, of which every school has a bunch. Wins feel really good, and losses really hurt. I was at the 2016 GA/UT game. Man, a high, high turned into a low, low in about 20 seconds of game time. And that contrast was seemingly minor compared to the flip that happened in 5 seconds in overtime in the NCG last January in Atlanta. I think, and hope, the Vols will be back quickly. I'd almost rather be at a 2016 than a 2017 game. Almost.
Don't forget Pig Howard's goal line fumble for a touchback in OT that gave Georgia the win. TN could've knocked off the #6 if pig had just held on. Refs literally had to signal TD just to review and overturn it
Your videos are great. Nice work. Just one thought here - the background music really takes away from the overall concept. Hearing the announcers and crowd - would be more appealing👍
But what penalty? Its legal because he re-established in bounds and caught the ball legally, no illegal touching so i dont think it should have been penalized
No BSU vs OK ? In the Fiesta Bowl? Dude that is revered by almost anyone as one of the best games ever. Looking at these videos I assume youre a Ducks fan, and Duck fans dont like BSU much, since you guys lose everytime you play us LOL
J Skyler before you jump to conclusions like Most of you BSU fans do, he is not a ducks fan he’s a Clemson fan check out his channel instead of watching one video of his and assuming
Yeah I just thought RGIII’s touchdown vs. Washington was pretty crazy considering like 3 different guys had hands on him at the same time and he was able to get away, then score (and it was requested by a fan.) The Oregon vs. FSU play snapped the Noles 27-game win streak (14-0 in 2013, 13-0 in 2014 until they faced Oregon) and the way Jameis Winston fumbled and just handed them a touchdown pretty much ended the game.
You do also realize that he added the Oregon vs. TCU game. And the score was circled in red? It doesn't deserve to be in this montage because Oregons QB got injured just before half and literally every offense possession in the 2nd half was 3 and out. Defense was on the field the entire 2nd half. Not that impressive considering TCU's Talent level
Derek Richardson TCU was playing with a walk on backup as the starting QB, and Oregon blew a 31 point lead to him, so yeah it’s pretty fucking impressive.
Legend X as an Oregon fan, agreed. That was the biggest choke in college football. If he really was an Oregon lover he wouldn't have put this here lol.
