Alright. You can change the textures back. Also, I absolutely love the raw metals. They no longer drop ore blocks unless you have silk touch, which is fine because you can stack raw iron, gold, and copper into raw blocks to save inventory space while mining.
Exactly, this is the exact case with zombified piglins. A feature that's been in the game for a long time gets visually changed slightly, people go through the 7 stages of grief about it, and we go through our daily lives just fine.
Wow, the ores looks so much different now. I don't know if it's where they're going with this, but I could see thay the new ores are helpful for people with colorblindness but that's just what comes into my head.
The iron texture looks like someone smeared turds across some stone how come people think it looks good. It does not matter if they don't change it back thats why we can change the texture.
I think that the ores are not supposed to be beatyfull , they are just stones with minerals that you will just destroy/melt to take the gem, Just like real ores. So i actually like the new changes, doesnt matter if the iron ore looks like a cat poop or something like that
The ores are just a reminder that nothing is permanent and everything will end at one point, and no matter what you do there is nothing that can change that. have a nice day
Unless you use a texture pack to revert it. Like the Programmer Art Texture pack which has all the old textures and can be easily switched on Java. Bedrock has it too, but the few times I've used it. It has missing textures somehow.
As much as it's sad to see them leave, let's be honest and leave our nostalgia for a second, they weren't great. Most of them were the same texture just recolored so, I'm glad they got updated, especially since it's better for colorblind people.

I don't like it either, in fact, I hate it. It triggers my trypophobia in larger amounts and makes me deeply uncomfortable.
It's the only one ore they changed i like
@@slimboarder.o7 your opinion is wrong
@@spaghettiman3757 your opinion is wrong, trypophobia is your own problem and only yours, same with your opinion. It shouldn't affect others
@@DiamondBreaker your opinion is always one time wronger than mine. Also, trypophobia isn't just my problem, it's a pretty common phobia. And also, do you know what "empathy" is? If they keep the iron ore texture like that I literally cannot play minecraft anymore.
At first I thought this was a mod that tries to make things 'realistic' but takes the classic minecraft look we grew up with
Wow that last time I was this early ores didn’t exist in Minecraft.

thats a long ass time ago
the iron texture looks like a really stretched out picture of a light screened shrek
Minecraft:cave and cliff updates
Player: subnautica belowzero
That iron ore looks as if there are some apex predators hanging around.
Like a warden?
The actual textures are good. The problem is something called nostalgia
nah iron is just straight trash tho
yes, even piglins are better than new iron......
and whe now that piglins shouldn’t be invented

Alright. You can change the textures back. Also, I absolutely love the raw metals. They no longer drop ore blocks unless you have silk touch, which is fine because you can stack raw iron, gold, and copper into raw blocks to save inventory space while mining.
And use Fortune.
me using programmers art: oh no! anyway...
The irom ore looks like worms, *Stuck in stone*
We'll get used to them anyway
I'll miss them.
No
I feel like all contraveecial texture changes can me summed up in this sentence
Exactly, this is the exact case with zombified piglins.
A feature that's been in the game for a long time gets visually changed slightly, people go through the 7 stages of grief about it, and we go through our daily lives just fine.
Nope
0:45 The One Diamond In The Right Corner: 🥺😢 I haven't friends
new iron is way better than their first attempt at changing it, feels like how terrafirmacraft does ores where it actually feels like veins of an ore
Yes, the second option is just way better than the first one.
How DARE YOU SAY THAT TO MY IRON
the ores are exactly why I didnt update my minecraft
Wow, the ores looks so much different now. I don't know if it's where they're going with this, but I could see thay the new ores are helpful for people with colorblindness but that's just what comes into my head.
Thats exactly one of the motivations! Helping colorblind people while improving the game
That's an awesome avatar. I wish they'd have more appearances of Silk.
@@Rabbit-the-One Thank you, and yes I agree.
The iron texture looks like someone smeared turds across some stone how come people think it looks good. It does not matter if they don't change it back thats why we can change the texture.
The iron texture looks good, for me it looks like bones. The older Minecraft 1.17 iron texture looked like rotten eggs
Why tf are half the ppl in this comment section hating on iron ore? Looks pretty good
HaruSenshi it’s so aliased or something idk
Both iron and red stone bug me because it doesn’t feel complete
Cause it looks like streaks of ore, like how it appears in actual ore veins.
still looks like someone smeared shit in the stone.
Diamond: farwell everyone.
Emerald: hey you are not alone
The newer Iron ore scares me like it’s been scratched by something
I think that the ores are not supposed to be beatyfull , they are just stones with minerals that you will just destroy/melt to take the gem, Just like real ores. So i actually like the new changes, doesnt matter if the iron ore looks like a cat poop or something like that
yeah, but it still wouldnt hurt if the ores looked nice
Emerald ore and lapis who isn’t getting any attention for not being changed: *sad ore noises*

i like how the video is 1:17 long
If there isn't a texture pack to make the ores look normal, *several planets will explode.*
Have you not been using programmer art?
@@Slipperyslab Wouldn't that just make all of the game look old again rather than have new textures all round but old ores?
ruclips.net/video/Y6pQEocgxcU/видео.html
The ores are just a reminder that nothing is permanent and everything will end at one point, and no matter what you do there is nothing that can change that.
have a nice day
Unless you use a texture pack to revert it. Like the Programmer Art Texture pack which has all the old textures and can be easily switched on Java.
Bedrock has it too, but the few times I've used it. It has missing textures somehow.
Chill Socrates it's just freakin' Minecraft
Exactly, like the game technically isn't done updating yet so anything could change, nothing is set in stone, well except the ores.
@@inputoutput2938 no, now thier set in grimstone
@@inputoutput2938 nether quartz and nether gold ore casually set in netherrack
What people seem to forget is that they changed the ores for accessibility.
Is it jut me or is video time 1:17 like the minecraft version being discussed?
I can’t believe you used “regular show” as the thumbnail
its good
Totally
You know who else can’t believe he used regular show as the thumbnail?
The new Iron looks like someone put some Nutella on a stone.
Yum
Look How they massacred my boys
It's for the color blind people so that they can actually tell what they're mining

Emelerlard??? New ore!?!?
I personally think that ore looks doesn't matter to me if the game is fun I'll play it I don't rly care how the game looks
As much as it's sad to see them leave, let's be honest and leave our nostalgia for a second, they weren't great. Most of them were the same texture just recolored so, I'm glad they got updated, especially since it's better for colorblind people.
Plus people can just use classic texture packs.
