I learned english as a teen on the internet, and to me curse words have no weight, I curse all the time, it's what I learned from let's plays lol. As opposed to my native language, when I hear a curse word in Spanish I feel a physical reaction, it feels so much more intense, like it has more weight and aggression, since I learned them as a child and I was told not to use them.

This is by far the best video I've found regarding the education of swearing with practical applications. Personally, I love swearing with intention or when injury occurs. Now that I have babies, I was concerned about the implications of my own swear use and noticed most videos educate while simultaneously shaming those who choose differently from them. They claim with such conviction that if you swear it's primarily because you are unintelligent or other derogatory labels which I find more offensive than swearing in and of itself.
When I was a kid, 'stupid' was a swear word to my mom
