Yey!
Awesome! My two favorite girls, haha
Bruh thats so perfect because my school ands at 4 on saturdays
Yay cool! Hop3fully I can make it...
Perfect I'll be there!
imagine visiting Starclan, cats who you’re supposed to look up to for guidance, and you see the cat who tried to kill you because your mom didn’t go out with him & you’re only given the reason “that he loved too much”
ooof
Poor Jayfeather....then Yellowfang low-key blames her she's like maybe Squirrelflight lover too much
I'd be like, "screw this" and either go the Mothwing path or join the Dark Forest
@@jamillatorres7226
so true
Tbh the thought of Yellowfang basing her judgment off of experience is really sad when you think of it.
I also feel like its a bit biased? Because Yellowfang lets him in because of her own personal feelings, rather than an actual judgement of whether he can be better or not. Which is pretty interesting
He probably bribed her with never having to hear firestars rambling about a squirrel he caught the other day again
LOL
Ashfur: gets into starclan
Broken code happens
Starclan: oh snap we made a mistake :0
And the bad thing is they can’t kick him out 😐
Me: (face palms) Starclan should have done backround checks before letting cats in
*surprised pikachu face*
I like Ashfur guys. Bye
@@oven_ghost well I mean if someone kills ashfur's spirit (like in the Great Battle) then he wouldnt be able to come back.
Yellowfang was just jealous that Ashfur had better hair, so she thought that Ashfur would lend Yellowfang his hair. Simple as that.
Lol

She let him in because of his beautiful blonde hair.

ThunderClan is crazy -_-
I still think the fact that tigerstar got 9 lives despite still being clearly evil and self serving is reason to question starclan's judgement
also the fact they didn't give lives to nightstar. Cuz brokenstar was still alive with one life. And we learnt sunstar had 8 lives cuz pinestar was still alive. Starclan has no good judgement.
@@sandywolfr26 Was the legitimacy of Nightstar's leadership ever actually removed in-text outside of the questionably-canon guidebooks? Just as a refresher that puts it on the same level of trustworthiness as there being only four founding clans, the Warrior Code being fully formed by the original leaders, and Dovewing choosing Bumblestripe.
I could have sworn it came up somewhere else but right now I can't find concrete mentions outside of Secrets of the Clans and The Ultimate Guide.
@@HatfoxPrime nightstar died before getting his nine lives. It was how tigerstar became leader of shadowclan. Remember there was a sickness and tons of cats died. It was why nightstar wanted to kill brokenstar when everyone found out thunderclan was holding him. There was a prologue that showed nightstar and his medicine cat at the moonstone when starclan rejected nightstar cuz brokenstar still had one life. He was the only cat willing to become the leader after they kicked brokenstar and his followers out. This was during the prophecy begins arc.
@@sandywolfr26 I was almost sure I remembered a scene matching that description but I couldn't find it when I went looking yesterday.
It's not from a TPB prologue though, if that's what you meant. (The prologue with Nightstar is during the sickness, not at the Moonstone.)
I'm confident that none of the context for this was supplied during TPB.
@@HatfoxPrime it was obvious by his reactions to learning brokenstar was in thunderclan. Tbh the writers really loved shadowclan being evil so that why they kept giving that clan evil leaders. Only leaders that didn’t seem too evil was blackstar, rowanstar and tiger heart star. And the leaders before raggedstar.
What if there was like- a middle ground. A between the dark forest and star clan. Just a empty ground where cats that aren’t necessarily evil but also aren’t good go. It’s be kinda interesting 💃
I guess that would be cool🤷♀️🤷♀️
There technically is something similar to that- it’s where Kittypets go
That's a good concept! What about the tunnels? It would make sense with Hollyleaf's story, it's hard to say whenever she deserved to go to the df or sc, so she got trapped in the tunnels.
The Place Of Some Stars
They do have something like that
He didn't just love too much he also:
Helped murder Firestar
Tried to ruin squirrelflights life
Tried to kill three cats
Was an awful mentor to Loinblaze
(I still really like ashfur as a character though. Also let me know if I missed something)
Yeah...He really shouldn’t be in Starclan in my opinion...
@@ShinoriDelfrim
I agree but I do like him as a character but if people don't that's also ok but he really shouldn't but hey it's the plot
I like ashfur though lol i feel like he’s one of the characters that is the definition of: I’m not evil, just broken.
Also, Lionblaze was one of that cats Ashur leveraged against Squirrelflight.
@@notagreatwalker True. What he did was terrible but when you look at all he went through as a kitten..it all makes sense in way. He was unstable, broken, and squilf being the last person he heavily relied on and loved being "taken" pushed him over the edge! I in a way pity him along with hate him for what he did..it's why I love his character, he makes such a compelling villain.
I came up with an idea for a Super Edition for Ashfur called Ashfur’s Betrayal. It would have the major events from Ashfur’s life told from his perspective, and then new content about Ashfur festering with resentment in Starclan and eventually him taking over Bramblestar. And maybe we could also have a plot twist where he didn’t actually die in the dark water…?
Brutally murdered by Hollyleaf?
(Stares at Hollyleaf’s chainsaw)
Hollyleaf using a chainsaw while AshFur was reading magazines is the new cannon
What is with warrior cats and abusive relationships? I understand trying to bring attention to a problem, but it feels like 80% of warrior cat relationships have some form of abuse, and that is kind of sad. Give use some more positive examples please.
I think they want it to be negative to be honest
Not to mention if they say that some of the couples love each other and there kits but they really don't spend time together as a couple or as a family
@Smol Gal For about five minutes before the authors completely dropped it.
@@TipOfTheSauce right!?
They’re crazy shippers and will hate a ship to make plot.
I also remember when Yellowfang told Raggedpelt she was going to have kits, he tried to make her go into being a warrior again. She said she cant and he is like "CANT OR WONT?" I found that kinda manipulative and he makes her upset.
It’s funny, because I was thinking about this a little while ago on a drive home. Ashfur wasn’t always a horrible cat, and I think StarClan with Yellowfang’s push gave him the benefit of the doubt, which I think a lot of people do even when those on the receiving end don’t deserve it. One of StarClan’s biggest flaws is they’ve got a lot of good hearted, softies, naturally, but they’re seemingly high up in the hierarchy which has clearly led to some mistakes. Good in intention, bad in execution. This arc is proving that the clans need to not only consider their ancestors, but ultimately weigh their own decisions out too because clearly StarClan just as easily makes bad moves.
5:09 Why is that Imposter Bramblestar design so creepy-
Ikr-
Probably the look of, "yeah I'll kill you in your sleep" on his face. Also the weird looking eyes did it for me.
That caught me by surprise
Also I would think that Bluestar would also pity Ashfur as he did help with the pack as a apprentice
And buried his own dead mother. Sometimes I consider how that experience may have impacted his personality later on.

Ashfur got in because Yellowfang died before her hair appointment and Ashfur was a good hairdresser.
Everyone important: *Worrying about what to do about Ashfur*
*Yellowfang sipping tea in the background, avoiding everyone’s eye contact.*
thank God that they finally said something about how much Raggedstar sucked..... Yellowfang held him in high regard in the original books so it made it seem like he was a good boy. I hope they actually get all this in the actual books tho.
The book was written from the point of view of an abuse victim..of which most actually adore their abuser, give reasons for the abuse or don't recognize it as such, and even protect said abusers painting them in a higher light than they deserve or taking all the blame on themselves. Yellowfang was sadly just the victim of abuse that never fully got free.
Plot twist: yellowfang was against ashfur going in star clan. It was the rest of the cats because they wanted moonkitti to make more ashfur vidios

"Did StarClan make a mistake?"
Welp, The Broken Code exists so...
Even if StarClan piitied Ashfur that still doesn't add up because they let HOLLYLEAF into StarClan.
Mothwing is right-StarClan exists. But the living cats shouldn't just blindly rely on them for everything for just...reasons. It's like people who are all "GOD WILL SHOW ME THE WAY" or "GOD SPOKE TO ME" oh cool story bruh. The living cats need to learn to rely on THEMSELVES to make decisions, NOT StarClan. And I think that's where Broken Code is going in the narrative. By the end of it all, I think MediCats will still be important, still receive omens, but the cats will decide as A GROUP about what to do on the omen, rather than just either doing nothing or just the leader making the choice. The clans will become like a Democracy of sorts.
man, I love your ideas! I would really love it would happen that way, I thought I was the only one who doesn't like that alive cats think that "StarClan will solve all problems :p"
I mean another one of these articles talks about how its good for leaders to be the final decision makers because supposedly if the rest of the clan wants to do something wrong the leader has the authority to do the right thing instead. I disagree because more often the opposite happens - the clan wants to do the morally right thing and the leader doesn't.
Ashfur tried to murder four cats in cold blood just to get his former mate to feel some heartbreak. Hollyleaf killed Ashfur to protect the secret.. then going to spill it herself. As well as she sacrificed herself to save Ivypool. That would’ve redeemed her in StarClan’s eyes.
Ashfur should’ve never been let into StarClan. I haven’t read the entirety of the Broken Code yet, but if Ashfur isn’t killed a second time by the end.. imma be pretty mad.
@Dyu I agree.
If we are going on how bad your death was and that was the deciding factor in whether you got in, uh have you heard of Tigerstar 1?

**Hollyleaf and Brokenstar yeets in and 'brutally murders' them**
Bluestar: it is not StarClan's place to judge Ashfur - The Forgotten Warrior chap. 14
Literally every leader ever: *StarClan will judge them, not me*
Say what???
I love this. It summarizes what we know while adding a hint of speculation that is extremely likely to be true. Also, it's just nice to see StarClan developed a bit more, and to see how being abused can affect people in the long-run. And the bit about Hollyleaf being redeemed and how it's not fair to not give Ashfur a chance at redemption too... *chef's kiss* It makes Yellowfang's decision super understandable and makes everyone else in StarClan more likely to go along with it, because redemption is a good thing and StarClan wants to be fair (sometimes. I will also argue that Leafpool and Squilf's trial was totally unreasonable)
Akira: Raggedstar mocks her...
Raggedstar: **Procceds to spin out of control like a physco**
Can we just talk about how amazing some of these designs Missy Dakota did!?
To be honest Raggedstar and Foxheart are the perfect match
I think Ashfur is so interesting because whenever I re-read the series from The Prophecies Begin, he reads as such a bright young cat who's brave with big potential. Yeah he's a background character but he's generally doing good acts when he's around; he's an adult for a long time before courting a love interest (compared to many warrior cats) which I think is refreshing, and when Squirrelflight and him *are* "dating" he's just like . . . the stereotypical warrior cat boyfriend, I guess.
It's only after he's already developed as a person(cat) that he has . . . whatever the opposite of a redemption arc is. Turning 'evil' with his reject romance bizz and letting himself fester for forever. Being angry for extended periods of time like that can make you forget who you are; it's wild and scary to reflect on what you did later, if you get out of the situation--but I don't think Ashfur would have ever gotten that chance unless he left ThunderClan or something radical.
I'm not gonna pretend to understand where he's coming from; or that it wasn't completely awful what he did; or that everything would have been better if Squirrelflight had just stayed with a cat who treated her more like a "girlfriend to protect" than an "equal to adventure and discourse with" (which I think is what she wanted from her relationships) because then she would be unhappy. But I think Yellowfang's interpretation of "he only loved too much" may also be . . . literally that; he didn't *do* anything bad until he went crazy after his girlfriend rejected him (cringe yikes though).
I also think the whole imposter is Ashfur plot is a totally awful retcon about stuff he never cared about and is a bad use of his character
I agree with you, the Erins should let him be in starclan in Peace, but my Interpretation is why He was Bad during the broken Code arc is of the fans. Simple as that. For example :
Fans : we like thistleclaw He is cool and we have sympathy with him.
Erins : oh no the fans like thistelclaw, that was not meant to be we give him a arc (spottedleaf arc) how He is a padophile to her so the fans not like him anymore
Me: Erins why are you doing this to him?
Same for ashfur
Fans : why is He in starclan, he didnt deserve it (rage mod)
Erins : oh the fans dont want ashfur like that, so we make him more Bad and more obsessed with squirrl.
Me: Erins let him be how He was
P. S i like thistle how He was and He didnt deserved how He turned as a pedho just because the Erins want it to.
The thing is Ashfur was a cat everyone seemed to look up to, it says that in power of three a few times. He also stayed quiet and watched enviously as squirrelflight and brambleclaw became mates. He was a loyal clanmate to Thunderclan (AND SQUIRRELFLIGHT) and it showed.
Captions are hilarious. Here are some things the captions said: Rocketstar, Asphur, Ashford, Jay further, and Ash for.
Askfor. Daco. Ashford, this StarClan, askedfor, ragazar, rocketstar, ashper, yellow thing, yelping, ashford, Ashford again, rocketstar again, Ashford AGAIN, jay further, she player (jayfeather), ash for and Ashford AgAiN.
Day 14 of calling akira queen bc thats what she is!
What's sad about this is that if the Erins had planned ahead, the Ashfur twist would have been a lot better. In the original series, he was your average kit and apprentice, then he was the jilted lover who went all Incelly before he died, and when he comes back he's gone full-blown cartoon villain. Not saying it's impossible, but it could have been fleshed out a lot better. Just to put it into context, consider the Star Wars prequals. Among many other flaws is the handling of Anakin Skywalker, who many consider to be far too whinny and bland to end up being the galaxies biggest threat. In my eyes, though, this wasn't necessarily a bad thing; I think the idea was that there was always supposed to be something off about Annie's behavior, enough that, in the real world, would be enough to have the other characters want to keep a much closer eye on him than they did. I think a similar approach would have worked greatly in Ashfur's favor, the impaction that he's always been dark-hearted and, in this case, was just biting his time until he was able to garner the power he needed to act.
That imposter art near the end was terrifying. I love it. Great job Dakota
raggedstar took advantage of yellowfang's forgiveness to keep her in an abusive relationship, i was in one as well and how raggedpelt treated her is far too similar to what i've gone through
This make sense yellow fang and ash fur probably got along before ash fur became the imposter

When Akira posts
Me: Drop everything and go
Ashfur who tried to kill his ex and her adopted kits: "StarClan ahoy!"
Thistleclaw who tried to become deputy and never kill any cat: "WTH HE DERSERVES THE DARK FOREST!!!!!!!!!!!"
I've always held the view that when a questionable cat is being judged by Starclan, there are three factors that are taken into account:
- Ratio of 'good' to 'bad'
- The attitude of the cat towards the warrior code and their actions
- Whether the cat expresses and experiences remorse for their actions
Using this criteria, it helps explain why Hollyleaf went to Starclan and Thistleclaw did not.
Thistleclaw DID though. Its been confirmed that he only went to the dark forest after Bluestar chased him out of starclan. he went to starclan originally.
It's honestly starting to feel arbitrary
@@phantomstarsx9343 And StarClan just let her do that lol, they need better laws
@@uglyfense7754 yeah that situation kind of goes both ways XD for some reason thistleclaw was allowed in and for some reason, one cat, Bluestar, was allowed to override that decision.... he never came back either 🤔
Yeah idk starclan seems more and more arbitrary to me. It's kind of weird.
@@phantomstarsx9343 I believe that's been clarified as a joke.
So close to 100k! Good job Akira! :D
And here we see why Raggedstar is absolute garbage
Quick question
When people talk about the reason why Ashfur is evil they never mention his mum getting killed.
I have a feeling that had a big part in his idea of revenge.
When ThunderClan was fighting the dogs Fireheart/star got Ashfur (Paw at the time) and his sister to help with the fight and to use their anger to help them. Which is pretty much saying that revenge is good. And he was also part of the group of apprentices that killed Bone which exposed him to violence. When he got rejected her thought that he could get revenge because he never had any consequences.
Oh btw I saw on the Warriors Fandom page that Ashfur is now in “The Dark Forest”
Omg I totally agree with everything, listening to you talk is the best part of my day omg love you so much!!!!😻❤

BROKEN CODE SPOILERS: BRAMBLESTARS IMPOSTOR
Ashfur doesn’t deserve his play in the broken code, it isn’t worth it. They should’ve gotten someone more interesting for Bramblestars impostor, like Thistleclaw or something. Or even a new character, because at this point they’re just reusing the plot of Squrrielflights and Ashfurs relationship that fell down the hole easily.

Good job RUclips, good job
So what you’re saying:
Yellowfang is a Southern Canadian?
Ashfur had 4 attempted murders with Firestar, Lionblaze, Jayfeather, and Hollyleaf. He abused Lionblaze as his apprentice to the point the the Erins themselves stated that he didn't have the normal mentor/apprentice bond that all cats typically shared. On top of that he conspired with Hawkfrost who is a different clan cat and at the time was training in the dark forest, about killing Firestar.
What was he thinking??
"Dang my Ex girlfriend doesn't want to be with me so I think I'll go kill her dad and torment and kill her adopted children."
Ashfur did not love too much he is just a spicy villain kitty!
this literally explains so much oh my god
but also!! CONGRATS ON COMING OUT GIRL!! I am so happy for you and the fandom will support you all the way
Wow, I wonder where we’ve heard of a brown tomcat leader being abusive before writers?
Dude, when the "Impostor drama" Bramblewrong came in, I was slightly scared XD
Thank you Akira I'll be there
The first thing Ashfur did as the imposter was take over Thunderclan
He revoked the citizenship of a certain few cats in the clan
As the president of Manberg, Schlatt revoked Tommy and Wilbur’s citizenship
Both of them who were evil ended up in heaven
I've been following the "Ashfur might be the imposter" thing for a while. Was it finally confirmed in the books??
PUT YOUR MUSIC ON APPLE MUSIC AND SPOTIFY AND STUFF LIKE THAT!!! Please!!!! I can't live without it!

This makes sense
make a warrior cats as dogs challenge plzz
Ashfur wasn'tevil, he felt rejected by everyone else. When squirrelflight became friends with him, he finally was accepted by someone. He took the chance to possess brambleclaw because. I'm too lazy to explain more
He wasn't evil, but he still became evil, so he is, even if he wasn't born evil, no villain was
I was really hoping somebody would talk about this!! This is one of my favorite theories, and such a good character analysis moment, for Yellowfang especially. It almost makes it feel like they actually put some thought into the personalities and characterizations of the characters beyond just the surface for once.
*at **4:00** in the morning*
Me: UGHHHH I CAN'T SLEEEEP :'(
*starts rereading eclipse, reads a lionblaze chapter*

I just thought that Ashfur and Raggedstar should go to StarClan, because will the Dark Forest accept them? I mean there is nothing in between them, so StarClan usually pities cats that have done wrong. That's my opinion only. Dunno if it makes sense.
They should create some sort of middle ground where one is too evil for Starclan but not evil enough for the dark forest.
Yellowfang thought that someome with such fabulous hair could not possibly be evil, and really, who could blame her?
I love your brambleimposter drawing!
Ashfur is possibly the first cat to get kicked out and banished to the Dark Forest
So Ashfur was let in without a trial after he tried murdering his own leader and his ex and her children and Squirrelflight and Leafpool were almost sent to the Dark Forest for helping each other when it came to the three? Come on StarClan!
Firestar was said to have actually lost a life so technically Ashfur (And Hawkfrost) did kill him but anyway he really doesn’t deserve to be in Starclan!

Have you read more of those articles? They're all very much worth reading to see what kind of messagint the authors are going for. Usually messaging that's pretty... Harmful though. Like an article that seems to imply the "the word of the leader is warrior code" is good actually (despite this being taken advantage of multiple times by evil cats for nefarious purposes) because then leaders can do the right thing when their clan opposes them on it. Although we haven't really seen that happen in my opinion. And also an article that seemed to imply that the cats will face some sort of negative consequences for not following the code well enough. It specifically mentions that cats keep "forgetting" to give thanks to Starclan for the life of prey (when I feel like it's probably the multiple authors who forget about that rule). Would love to see you talk about them!
i havent seen warriors since i read the fourth series, and dawn of the clans, i need to read number 5.

Great video Akira!
If Ashfur can get into Starclan because "his only crime was to love too much" and he was killed brutally, then logically Darkstripe should have gone straight to Starclan. Besides Ashfur actually killed Firestar while Darkstripe only ever attempted murder because he's useless.
Yellowfang is not in charge, she doesn't make the decision!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All the others agreed too
If they let AshFur in StarClan, then what would happened when SquirelFlight goes to StarClan? She’ll be uncomfortable, that’s stupid… 😒
