    Go over to Red beard RC reviews there you can see a 64 landing the way it should. We took a bell sander to the bottom of the wing made it. flat. we reshape the top of the wing, so the High Point is down 30% of the total cord. Put reflex in the ailerons disable the ailerons fly the whole thing from the tail 0:32 not has it tamed this beast it is predictable and even enjoyable to land

    It takes off beautifully flies, beautifully sweep, wings, beautifully, but coming in for that landing. You better have your A game on we have been experimenting with reflex on the ailerons and vortex generators for the tips if freeing would just redesigned that wing it would be the best flying airplane ever

    Simple and too the point!!! THANK YOU!!! Nice flying and I will use these settings as my baseline throws! I used more expo than you do but the throw should be perfect as a starting point!

    It drops a wing violently because some idiot put a laminator flow air foil on the wingtips. This is a fatal flaw not only do you have to be an expert to land it will still bite you.

    Im curious, currently setting mine up, maybe Im miss-remembering but I thought that the alerions were supposed to disable when the wing is swept back? Mine currently still have full throw...Keep in mind I haven't gotten to any of the programming yet (I fpv these things and run a full flight controller and iNav) just curious if the stock board should be doing that mix? Id like to use the control board thats already in the plane. thanks yo!

    • @Connorhola
      @Connorhola  Месяц назад

      I had the twin 80 mm and did that and it did fly better but with this one with the control board, I actually prefer it with a little bit of throw with the ailerons

    Caution with using C G on wings. The fuselage is more accurate due to wings ability to move.

    • @Connorhola
      @Connorhola  5 месяцев назад

      It’s Really accurate as long as the wings are out and the gear is down!

      @@Connorhola Apparently lots of troubles with wing sweep, one wing sweeping back and crashing is what I've been hearing.

    • @Connorhola
      @Connorhola  4 месяца назад

      @@nomadrc6036 I did have that problem, but it was only because the wing sweep was plugged into the flap channel once I put it into a seventh channel the issue resolved itself

    what is expo?

    • @aerospacematt9147
      @aerospacematt9147 2 месяца назад

      The trouble with online forums are that one cannot pick up on sarcasm or the intention of the individual behind the post. If you’re being sarcastic, I get it. Please disregard the rest of this comment if that was your intention.
      Now, if you were actually wondering what expo is, computerized radios such as the Spektrum DX6E, DX8,or NX10 (as well as other Spektrum radios and other brands) have the option to limit the response sensitivity on your flight control stick.
      Expo can be a “taboo” in RC as it hasn’t always been around and in a hobby dominated by those born into balsa wood, glow plugs, and transmitters requiring a HAM radio license, new technology can be looked down upon by those who learned to fly with no gyro and think stabilizers are for inept pilots. Hence my initial comment above.
      Now to explain Expo in depth. (Keep in mind all numbers you see are assuming your Dual Rates are set to 100%.
      With a certain percentage of Expo, if you move your aileron stick to +50 (right roll, halfway between neutral stick and full right deflection) your aileron would only deflect to 25 percent. Yet, in this same configuration, +100 (full right roll) would result in near 100 percent deflection. I say ‘near’ because - at least for Spektrum - it tends to shave off a few millimeters of deflection on the control surface at max stick. The term “Expo” is short for “exponential” as it makes your controls more forgiving at the center more and normal towards the ends. As the curve races to catch up from +50 = 25% deflection to +100 ≈ 100% deflection, you could see +80 = 75% aileron deflection but at +90 see a 87% deflection. There’s generally a graph in the transmitter menu which shows these values based on your desired expo value. I use 30% expo value as a baseline. Works pretty well for my style of flying. I prefer Expo over SAFE as safe limits your flight envelope, while expo allows for full control and yet gives you more forgiving control so long as you keep the stick close to the center.
      Phew! That was long. If you made it this far, congratulations! Hope this helps, and like I said, if you did intend it as a sarcastic joke, well then hopefully the lecture didn’t put you to sleep!
