The FREEWING F-4 phantom 90mm is really good I own and have flown all of motion RC 80/90 mm birds. Looks good. But needing the battery mod after spending $$$ on this EDF is kind of lame.
@@davidgerlach1132 it doesn’t take super long to do nor does it cost any extra money, it’s definitely worth it!

Outstanding video and review. Nice battery bay mod! Love your livery, excellent work. Did mine in the German "Bronze Tiger" scheme: ruclips.net/video/iqelXmGkiBw/видео.html The "Plus" upgrade is a game changer, converted some 20 Rx's now. Outstanding for the EuroFighter but for the F18 and F4, completely changed the flight characteristics to something incredible! My Euro is on 8S, primarily for extra thrust getting off grass. 8S or 6S on this one is more a personal preference so since you fly off asphalt, 6S is probably the best alternative, lighter flies better (although my F4's and F16 fly better on 8S). On my Euro I'm using an 8S SMC 4400 HiV. You should get some SMC HiV packs and you'll notice a huge upgrade in power and flight time over the HRB's. Keep your videos coming!🤙

If I did have a grass field, most of my jets would be 8S but because I do fly off asphalt, I don’t need the extra power, even though it would be nice to have. I have around nine more jets to review so the videos are definitely going to keep coming coming 💪 so stay tuned!

@@Ogivekrew I couldn’t tell you because like I stated in the video, I ripped out the control board and did my own custom mixing

Great review buddy! The battery mod helps it for sure :) If you like the Eurofighter so much I really recommend you to get J-10A 90mm, which IMO looks and flies even better. You won’t be disappointed! Enjoy

If you had to buy another eurofigther today , would you go with the 8s version?
Good question, me personally I would not the stock 6s has plenty of power and the extra cost if the 8s version plus extra batteries is a lot and the added weight in my opinion is not worth it. Way better bang for your buck and the 6s performance is not lacking in any way!
You can run 7s on the stock 6s setup with no issues and have a better chance at CG with just about the same power.
@@bucky32555 Can the ESC arm with 7 cells, or is an upgrade needed? I have no doubt the motor can handle it. I want to try this with a FW 90 mm F-22.

it totaly is for me...depends on the way you like to fly i guess....for me the TV is not worth it, to much extra weight if you ask me for a semi scale jet
@@benni87248 I would think so if you are willing to overlook the fact that it is a little underpowered it is definitely a fun jet fly!

How does it perform on short, well mowed and maintained grass?
@@tbg_linear9487 it has plenty of power to get in the air so if it is short and well-maintained, you should have zero problems with it!

Go over to Red beard RC reviews there you can see a 64 landing the way it should. We took a bell sander to the bottom of the wing made it. flat. we reshape the top of the wing, so the High Point is down 30% of the total cord. Put reflex in the ailerons disable the ailerons fly the whole thing from the tail 0:32 not has it tamed this beast it is predictable and even enjoyable to land

Im curious, currently setting mine up, maybe Im miss-remembering but I thought that the alerions were supposed to disable when the wing is swept back? Mine currently still have full throw...Keep in mind I haven't gotten to any of the programming yet (I fpv these things and run a full flight controller and iNav) just curious if the stock board should be doing that mix? Id like to use the control board thats already in the plane. thanks yo!
I had the twin 80 mm and did that and it did fly better but with this one with the control board, I actually prefer it with a little bit of throw with the ailerons

nice flight review and i agree a nose wheel steering gyro is very useful for us who seem to can't control the zig zagging lol, it really helped me out on my takeoff's and landing's
