If I ever go to NYC, honestly, for any elevator enthusiast, this is a must see. These things are awesome!
I remember when CBS This Morning did their show in the One World Trade Center and showed the elevator. I thought at first Otis were in here but TK did an outstanding job.
There were Otis's in the original WTC though

In my opinion, the twin towers look alot better. I dont know why but it looked wonderful.
Tornected I thought they were ugly. They looked like two cigarettes sticking out of the box. Much taller than all the surrounding structures and very stereotypical of the type of towers being built at the time. One World Trade center is a much better design.
That looks cool. May pay a visit when I go to NYC in 2019.
It actually takes only 47 seconds to travel down. It's the world's fastest elevator.

Not even close. The world's fastest goes about 40MPH, and these come out to about 26. (About 2K ft/min).
They ARE the fastest in the United States.

Wow...that is so impressive, and not only that, it's impressive how fast the ride down is. It's almost a shame that the ride is so fast, it would be cool if the fly around was longer.

Remember that this is like virtual reality. (The elevator is actually going down as normal.)

The original Twin Towers were Otis and they were completely destroyed.
The left bottom panel is a little out of sync with the rest of them.

amarvasandani | Elevators and more! Indicator would be boring and so would the fixtures when compared to the display. Just my opinion.
There are actually no fixtures in these. Only LCD displays. The elevators are actually controlled from outside

I not sure what kind of fixtures it has. Have not rode the elevator.
The only fixtures in these are the door buttons phones and alarms. They are detonation dispatch

Yes, the elevator ejects from the side of the building and flies around and enters the building again at the desired floor.

Odd choice to have visitors descend from the top of the building through the window, considering that's how nearly 200 people died on 9/11. I was just there last night and that was the first thing I though of as the "elevator" left the building. The ascent was cool; the descent - not so much.
