Manlift Ride in a Grain Elevator! LIFTCO Traction Elevator

(6-30-2015) Here is the other elevator in the Grain Elevator. As requested, I show the facility. A huge thanks to MEI for showing me this elevator! This was definitely an interesting ride. Sorry for the dropped frames but that is thanks to final cut pro. hope you enjoy

Awesome! I live close to most of these and know from a buddy who used to work in them, they are full of cool elevators/man lifts. Some have basically a moving foot peg and you hold on to a chain to ride to the top.

Its on a continuous chain, you have to make sure you get off before the top or the bottom or you'll be in trouble.

mschafe132 There's a parking garage in Downtown Little Rock that has that moving foot peg. However only employees can ride on it because the parking garage is a valet parking garage for people working in the Tower Building.

If you ever stop by MEI Elevator in Minnesota again (or film elevators there again), one place to stop by in St. Paul is the Britton Building (because the main building has Otis Lexan), and the 8-floor garage has an R&O with CJ Anderson HHR fixtures. Two epic elevators indeed that you should visit next time you're up there.
