Nothing will ever replace the original Twin Towers of Manhattan NYC. They live on in our hearts in ETERNITY. Always. Forever. I swell up thinking about them actually, they were so so iconic and majestic. Proud I visited them in my life time. Just thinking back makes me swell up a little, half of me wishes not to remember 9/11 but the other half of me keeps saying NEVER FORGET. :'-|
There’s a reason why they designed the building this way. 1 is to allow more ways for people to escape, original towers, the plane destroyed all escape routes, except stairwell A in south tower. You were lucky if you could get to it. I’m not crazy about the prism design, but I do like the option of working where you want to, instead of being stuck at a desk.
Still a "safe" building that Resembles NOTHING Of what was there ! The Two in One concept Respect Died off Quickly and I've never even Been there yet !
Plus the core is actually solid re enforced concrete. A plane hits that it will evaporate. However, what they have done in terms of stopping any jet fuel going down the lift shafts and into the lobby area killing more people and floors around that core collapsing as they did on 9/11 O don’t know since they look like the same sort of materials used to build the floors of the original towers. I am guessing they have modern extractor fans designed to get rid of any heavy smoke that will work in the event of a lm extreme terrorist incident such as 9/11. Every precaution has been taken. Let’s hope we never have to see if it has to be really put to the test. I doubt it ever will though.

Can't have a skyscraper office without comfy couches and automatic latte machines! The world is so different here compared to my office. I also have a great view, but it's rolling hills of corn fields and highways.

The view is wonderful, beyond words... but wow the actual office space is quite small. The center core section takes so much space, at least at this height.
I miss the old trade center when there was a lot to do in the twin tower there were store’s inside them and restaurants you can go on tour and go to the top of the building underground mall and so many more now it’s just feel empty
To think they are probably looking at the same view as the people who worked at the twin towers/observers are looking at now is crazy maybe not the same placement but the same view none the less. I also imagine what would the twin towers interior would have also looked like if it was still here. Maybe more open space and less cubicle and more glass like rooms but we will never know and all we can think of now is how the original looks like with modern aesthetics. Maybe with window walls or some cubicle are still there as there were so many rooms to change at once.

Still never been there but I think it's Damn Disgraceful how they "Rebuilt" Instead of Rebuilding Like WTC2 Proposal which has the TWIN TOWERS BUILT BACK STRONGER IN RESPECTS AND STILL KEEPING POOLS Then Why TF didn't they Memorialize The other Five Buildings Also St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church Which stood since like 1916 Got Flattened by the Towers Collapse, And They Don't Build a Shrine AROUND THAT But a Completely "New and Improved Shrine" Over it !!!?? Also with The Dutchbank Building that got Hit Hard And THAT Had to be Disassembled and they use All that space to make a "Shrine" instead of Memorializing Around the Original St. Nicholas And Deutsche Bank Tower 😡 Port Authority or Whoever is in charge with all this Reconstruction are Rewriting History And I want to know just what the 9/11 Families Think of all of this, Totally Changing the WTC and surrounding Buildings !?
The designers already compromised enough with blending office space and a memorial. When the world trade center was destroyed it took with it a MASSIVE chunk of New York's office space. If the ENTIRE plot of land was made into some sort of shrine, the entire city's industry would suffer. The memorial we got is a beautiful place, and is a memorial for ALL those who perished in the surrounding areas.
There's a bit of a somber feeling i get seeing how beautiful yet so empty it is. It would be nice seeing those halls bustling and lively but i understand why ppl and companies would be afraid to operate there :(((((

As far as companies? I don't think any of the original companies came back, and the type of tenant has changed. Back then it was almost all financial firms involved in trading, banking, etc. The new building has mostly tech, media, and communication companies like Condé Nast

I preferred the twin towers the 1970's architecture was amazing and there were two of them with rooftop access to the south tower, something that's lost on this one

We were back then one of the 500 fortune magazine company's with branches on 17 countries. I know how some offices look like back then until late 90s. Absolutely love this building. I was recently on the 102 and 101 floors. It's a very high tech very beautiful outlook and in look type of building.
It doesn't dominate the skyline like the twins did

After I will be born without autism, spectrums, disabilities and disorders as my new life back in reality here on earth in June 20th, 1997 to avoid Getting Mad, Talking Hands, IEP Meetings and Summer School and become a typical, average, ability, skinny, and helpful person to change my life by watching educational channels on tv, speak with my first words and playing toys, interventions and games, when I can be a 2 year old back in 1999, spend more times with my sister and her friends, my aunt, my uncle and their friends my mom, my dad and their friends, my cousins and their friends and my grandparents in Sterling and new friends who are typically average ability skinny kids in Sterling Elementary School when I can be a 5 year old back in 2002 so they can learn to spell my name with words, draw and paint a picture, read and write on a book, make money, doing chores and jobs at my old house, 216 W Balsam RD, Sterling, VA, exercise inside and outside in the community, singing a song, counting numbers, go out to play and eat and go to Sterling Middle School and Parkview High School to study algebra, biology, English, chemistry and geometry with me when I was a 12 year old back in 2009 and a 15 year old back in 2012 and get IPhone 1 when I can be a 10 year old back in 2007 as a second chance and I swear that we all become our younger selves again back in reality here on earth to start my life all over again before we all get older, died and Rest In Peace to heaven in the future and change and altered timeline and history back in the past, so the children actors can become Power Rangers, Masked Rider, Beetleborgs, VR Troopers, Byclosser, Kikaider, Kikaider 01, Bijinder, Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, Inazuman, Gransazer, Justirisers, Sazer-X and Metal Hero, altered time back in 2004 and back in 2008, so Peyton Roi List and Aedin Mincks can do karate when they were 1st grade in karate class and then you altered time back in 2001 so the US Government can create a distraction by calling the Airport Security to prevent Osama Bin Laden, the airplane hijackers and the 9/11 terrorists before they were about to hijack airplanes and destroyed the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York, The Pentagon in Washington DC and Stonycreek Township in Somerset County at Pennsylvania. Right After, you altered time back in 1963 so Jack Ruby can distract Lee Harvey Oswald before he was about to kill John F. Kennedy. But, also altered time back in 1968, so the police can attack James Earl Ray before he was about to kill Martin Luther King JR. and altered time back in 1914 so the Police can attack Gavrilo Princip before he was about to kill Archduke Franz Ferdinand.

I preferred the twin towers the 1970's architecture was amazing and there were two of them with rooftop access to the south tower, something that's lost on this one

We were back then one of the 500 fortune magazine company's with branches on 17 countries. I know how some offices look like back then until late 90s. I'm not saying it looks bad, but, they should have done something according to the looks that were there before the tragedy. Looks nice do. Kind regards from BC.
