I like that k.d. lang hit the punchline and Bill Bailey ran with it. I find watching comedians who think a non-pro nailed it interesting. An appreciation for good humour no matter where it came from. As they say, "Funny is funny."

Nope. That's early 60s hair. Beehive and Big Hair was 60s thing until hippies flat long hair. Then thanks to mousse and hair bands - big nasty stupid 80s hair happened - teased and moussed rat's nests - yuk. 🐒
@@cuda426hemi 1964 release. But some women held on to those styles well into the 70s. I remember a teacher with a beehive in the mid-80s, but she was nuts.

I noticed that immediately. It has to be a joke album or something. They all three look like men with wigs on. The lighting doesn't quite seem right either. Not to mention the album is called "Jesus Use Me".

Funny thing is, that some of these LP's can fetch good money by collectors of strange and bizarre LP covers.
The "Jesus Use Me" album cover looks like three college dudes from the 50s in wigs.
The middle one looks like younger Justin Bieber and the right one with glasses looks like Buddy Holly with a bad wig.
Jennifer looked like she didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
I think she found it in poor taste to be making fun of these people.

There are at least three people on that show who don’t have a lot of room, if any at all, to ridicule anyone else’s looks.
I know the girl is Jennifer Hudson but who were the other 2 guys on the couch?
I don't think that a lot of the humour in these 'bizarre' record covers is really about anyone's plain looks, but more about the layouts, tone or extremely dated aesthetic.
I mean the "Use Me Jesus" title is hilarious, and the way the three heads were arranged made them look like they were those wobble headed dashboard ornaments.
And those sixties perm hairdos combined with horn rimmed glasses were a bit confronting even back in the sixties.
Meanwhile the Ken and ventriloquist doll ones just looked creepy.
So it's more a comment on the album cover designers than anything else.
