So happy to discover your YT channel and videos. I have a neuromuscular condition (CMT), which has decided to start progressing at a fast rate. I can no longer walk far enough to go anywhere and found myself being confined to my house and mostly to my bedroom where stairs are a barrier to the rest of the house. As Murphy would have it, I was laid off from my job and medical insurance was taken away before I could order my first chair. However, I was able to acquire an old Jazzy Select HD and am now starting to find joy in learning how to modify/customize it. My first project is to figure out how to make it go faster. Next, I want to put bigger tires with more aggressive tread for use outside in the Utah mountain trails and 16:04 snow.
All this to say thank you for putting yourself out there and offering your knowledge and experience as a “disabled person” in helping others. I sincerely appreciate you and your videos during this hard transition from walking to a chair. Clay Clawson

The shocks adjusted so loose makes me wonder... does it ride like a boat? A 1972 Cadillac? Does the chair get tippy in fast turns? Bet cracks in the sidewalk don't rattle your spine. Never seen you tip over backwards so it must be OK. I'm gonna have to try it!
If I can’t make it ride like a trophy truck, I’ll have nothing to do with it! I turn by leaning! Hah

What about squeaky bearings for a 2023 Hermo F3 what kind of oil do you recommend for that? By the way? I am a huge fan of your channel. Seeing as I am. In a wheelchair myself. It is very helpful. Thanks.
does the squeaking happen all the time? or just when hitting bumps etc?
How’s the camera system going? Is it working well with the onboard USB connector?

Depends on the version.. they have adjustable and non adjustable ones.. but realistically they’ll probably just need to be replaced
@TOTALLYNORMAL I HAVE A FRIEND WITH A PERMOBIL CHAIR. IT HAS A M5 BRAKE CODE ERROR. I OPENED IT UP TO CHECK THE FUSE ON THE FRONT CAUSE HE SPRAYED THE FOOT REST WITH WATER. MAY BE THE BRAKE SOLINOID BUT WE COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING OF WHERE THAT WOULD BE..... HELP!!!!!!
try flipping both brake levers with some gusto 5-6 times.. water or dirt can get into the microswitches.. working them back and force can clear things up sometimes
also check the motor connections to the main controller.. they can come partially loose
Sorry, this is off the subject. But I have been in the works for almost 3 years. To get a new power chair and the national company that I was true. It's dragging their feet, and now I'm in a loner for a year picked up my chair today. In a million pieces, I was wondering if you could give me any advice as into what kind of a lawyer I would be looking for? Thank you very much, love your channel. most states in the US have disability rights attorneys that operate for free to those that need their services.. try some online searching for 'your state disability rights lawyer' or maybe call the state bar and ask for a referral
