Under Title II, all state/local governments must follow the ADA regardless of their size. According to a search on the subject, non compliance to ADA standards looks to be very costly per unit. Is this law just another paper tiger ?

Glad you brought this up regarding portable bathrooms, I went into a so called wheelchair accessible toilet just after Christmas and I found out that I couldn't close the door, I had people walking past and looking in, not good when you're sitting on the toilet 😀, so I would like to meet the people who design these so called wheelchair accessible toilets 😂.
As for your anti flutter casters, the nut arrangement looks very similar to that on my Invacare storm 4, and it doesn't have a gyro, so it's like fighting a bull when you're trying to turn at 8mph 😲.
Thanks Dan for the video, very entertaining 👍

So I just yesterday I noticed the same thing with a smaller "wheelchair" accessible porta bathroom. This was in a city park down in Salem OR. I'm gonna ask some questions now to who ever is responsible. I have a Permobil M3. So I'm not too big. No 60" turn around lol. I have used this bathroom in the past and it was Huge!!! They replaced it with one 2/3rd the size.

seems like finding the crush style would be nice since a compatible o ring would be easy to find if the one in use is ever damaged.

Love the technical terms. Tighten the funnel squishy thing until resistance is felt 😂

Thanks for the video. And after the last scene, I would really like to see how this chair is programmed :)

I’m in California and started an owner operated small business. County required an Ada toilet. The only local company also charges nearly double, if I remember right, for them and didn’t have any wc ones available anyway. County also wanted me to gravel the area in front of it. Im not sure what ones they offer now, I know I’ve came across others that were the large ones you mentioned. Not surprised at all that they would require me to provide an Ada toilet, pay extra for then not even be able to use it myself anyway. I mostly use a manual chair and even they are pushing it on the smaller ones depending on footplate and the idea of gravel in front makes an already problematic situation even more difficult.

Great that you are looking into the bathrooms. Shrinkflation is getting out of hand, hopefully the ADA will put their foot down. Those antiflutter look simple enough to replicate if you had a mold of he plastic piece and the proper hardware, maybe out of 3d printed nilon, or resin cast (with the proper shore hardness not to be fragile).

for sure! the top cap felt like fiberglass reinforced nylon.. but seems like it could be replicated easily!

Have you thought about a bag style toilet? Just put a screen around it . The bags on the quality one don't leak and are ok to put into rubbish bins . I use a compost toilet no smell and after a year good garden compost. Coffee grounds are fantastic to neutralise any odor . If you want skittish try a trackchair the axis model at 7mph absolutely deadly 4mph is perfect , that toilet would not even fit a go chair with foot plate up . Just glad the disabled public toilets in Australia have not shrunk

I just got a Q500F, nice machine. However, my Castor Wheels is starting to shake or skipping at high speed. The wheels are properly tightened. This typically happens if there are bumps in the road and they have less contact for a split second, Do you have experience here. Can I adjust something in the suspension?

just wondering, have you done a castor flutter video on quantum? everything i've found says take it to the dealer, or just "tighten"...
also hope the rest of the move is going well!

the only quantum ive pulled apart is the 4front (v1) im not sure how the other models deal with castor flutter - but might be time to take a look at my stretto and see how it works!
