it was great to meet so many of you at nationals! sorry for running off pretty quickly.. contrary to how it might seem, i'm not very good in large social situations.. it was amazing to have SO MANY people come up and say hello though!!
Oh man.. that was great. It's exactly like when get to boccia world championships.. only except soccer chairs we carry boccia ramps and equipment.
Very similar vibes and struggles lol
How amazing was that!? what an awesome group of friends and people and all the great help! I'm not sure I could have done such a trip without tons of pain meds but boy that sure did look fun! This was like watching a documentary! what a wonderful job you did Dan. I really enjoyed this and I felt like I was sorta there. Thank you for this.
IMHO, the "support" staff are the ones who probably needed the pain meds, carrying, pushing, organizing everything. The team had it easy, just sitting in chairs (joking!!!! I know personally the pain of traveling, transfering, strange beds, food, just being away from home).
You turned around in a bathroom... like without hitting a door a cabinet or a toilet... incredible!
This has to be one of your best video, All of your videos are great but this one is super. Thanks. Ray
Awesome vid! So glad the trip went well. Was awesome to see everyone laughing it up.
I loved watching this. Wonderful community of friends.
Fantastic!!! thanks for posting enjoyed it a bunch!!
You said forbidden word! LOL
I'm sure there were plenty of challenges but man oh man, you guys pulled it off and it looked like everyone had a good time.
Very awesome film! Hopefully the chairs made it back and forth in one piece!! lol e
That was awesome the only other thing I can say is y'all have a great family.
Wish I lived in the USA, you guys have sooo much fun. Only fun I get is pushing a guy in a manual wheelchair uphill, because he was exhausted and there was people just looking at him and watching, I got behind him in my powerchair and used my knees to push him all the way home and when I looked at my battery indicator it was almost drained, luckily for me, it was down hill all the way. Thanks Dan, great video 👍
Awesome video. So glad to be able to have meet your team, You, and just to be able to watch the games were exciting to watch. I can't imagine how much fun it would be to play. One of your best videos. Actually liked how you did the voice over at the beginning. Agreed Chicago has a smell...lol
excellent dan... thoroughly enjoyed watching from start to finish and congrats to the team placing 4th. looking fwd to the livestream and dont forget to take it easy the next few days. c ya 2morrow
Looks like a great time. By the way, you went right past where I used to live. If you noticed just before, O'Hara is a place called Concord Place.
wooot megavlog! Laying down to watch it now!
Amazing video Dan
Great video!
It was great seeing and talking with you guys at the tournament. We were the team right next to you while setting up and getting into our chairs.
Sorry, Dan, I have to wait to watch this video. I feel like I'd be cheating on my wife if I didn't wait for her to watch it with me.
in your defense.. it is SUPER long! haha
How many chairs do you think you could fit in that U-Haul plus your luggage?
9 strike force chairs with guards installed for sure
That whole trip looked epic, bummed I couldn't make it out to the tournament
i'd say see ya next time, but apparently every year the facility year claims they don't want nationals hosted there again, BUT then at the last minute they say ookay.. so who knows if its be in the same place next season! hah
I am amazed at your "support" team. The way they hauled all the stuff, and moved all the equipment, luggage, etc. Worth their weight in gold. Well, I guess there was one who gave you the finger (you probably get that a lot). Or was that a secret soccer wave? Anyway, they moved with military precision. They almost made it look easy (and I know it wasn't). You know how to fix almost anything on a wheelchair, but did you travel with "spare" parts in case of equipment failure?
absolutely! we had an extra joystick in case anyone needed it - and spare soccer chair tires and other random parts - the soccer chairs were the most important thing on the way OUT there! (since they're the whole reason we went hah)
Hey I’ve been on those it’s not to bad
👍🏾
Dan I need some advice. My Quantum Edge is too big to use in parts of my home so I daily use my Itty bitty Pride Go chair that I bought used several years ago. I need new batteries in the Go chair and need them before I open up the battery box. Nowhere can I find what batteries the Go chair uses. Will you please use your resources to help me find the battery type?
I think it's the 22NF nut and bolt type but want to be sure before ordering.
its hard to tell which batteries it has inside without looking.. did ya get any of the manuals with the chair at all? its probably best to have a peek inside, before ordering potentially the wrong batteries and having to send them back etc..
@@TotallyNormal- no manual. I bought it used to be able to get into places where my big chair can't fit. I'll try to find a friend to open the battery box before it dies so I can see what is in it. Thanks for the reply!
2nd to watch

Awesome vid! So glad the trip went well. Was awesome to see everyone laughing it up.
