Great breakdown. Just ordered one of these today, and came across your channel as I excitedly prepared myself to dive into using it. I'm coming from the older Intuos Pro tablets, so super excited to have a display tablet!! Anyway, dig your content, subbed, looking forward to your future videos!
Thanks for sharing your experience using the Cintiq pro 24. I have a cintiq 22 and the size is just perfect. Recently, I get my hands on a demo unit of of an older version Cintiq 24HD and it is HUGE and extremely heavy. I'll be getting another demo unit of Cintiq 32 pro soon and I can imagine how big and heavy it will be and it doesnt comes with the stand. So, I am thinking of using those wood desk easel to prop it up. Hopefully it will work as buying a stand for Cintiq is really expensive.
A wood desk easel might be a nice tactile alternative. I was looking at getting a third-party arm to utilize the Cintiq's rotation and movement a little easier!
I ink comics on an older Cintiq and highly recommend the "Flex" nibs. It feels like the very tip is rubberized and it gives a great feel to the line drawing.
Yes! I push it back when I want to use my desk and just as a monitor but that also limits what you can put behind it If you have an intuos you can use the same pen for both surfaces too and that’s what I would want to purchase next
This ruler I might have had before I got my Cintiq. When shopping, I always think about how far the reach is. In this case, I was using it for lettering, and my physical papers at the time were 11x17. I wanted to have a ruler that could at least create the baseline for the paper, and clear so I could use the lines to create multiple baselines.
Hello there! was lucky to come across your vid, and I'm really enjoying the cintiq pro 24. Also noticed that you're using a mac. I'm planning to upgrade to a m1 imac soon, but I'm a bit lost on how I can actually plug it. Did you use a dock? and if so, did it affect the resolution? There's been little info online and wacom CS wasn't answering either. Hope you can help me out.
Hi Sena! I actually have my Cintiq plugged into a Mac mini (2018) using one of the usb-c ports, and that’s all I use to plug it in. I wouldn’t connect it to a dongle, since the cintiq is my main display and needs a lot of power. Hopefully that helps
@@skybluejenny Thank you for the reply :) Did you try hooking it to one of the thunderbolt ports? Just a bit scared of how it'll behave on usbc vs the usual displayport.
@@sena8945 I almost tried it, but then I decided not to even turn it on because whenever you use Mini DisplayPort/DisplayPort (UHD) or HDMI 2.0 (UHD), you must also connect a USB-A. (I don't think it controls the cursor without the USB-A). Luckily the package includes all the cords in case you want to try either, but I've been using USB-C only connected to my Mac Mini and I rely on it :)
The EX Remote is a great idea, and works well for the most part...if only it would stop interrupting me every 10 minutes to tell me the battery is low despite how much energy it actually has.
Hello! I used Google to translate your message, it seems like you're asking if I purchased it on Amazon and how much. Yes I purchased on Amazon, the link is available here: amzn.to/3zURQ1M purchased a little under $2k + $500 for the ergo stoand

Aww thanks Greg! A display tablet has greatly changed how I approach my work so I hope it helps you too!

@@skybluejenny but they would cost a bomb. Then, The basic version can't hold the weight.

Hi Jenny, Are you able to push this to the back of your desk and use as a monitor when you want to?

@@skybluejenny This is not a touch screen, right?
@@Vlog-oc8hm No, I did not get the one with touch. I use Apple's Magic Trackpad so I didn't feel like I needed touch!
