Frequency shifter is one of those 'almost too wacky to use' devices in Ableton. However, it does have a lot of power if you know how to use it, so I've decided to categorize a few simple ways in which you can start using frequency shifter in your tracks!

Every. Single. Time.
Frequency shifter was the only ableton device I had yet to conquer. You've blown it right open thank you!
Old Crystal Method vibes. Dig!
Came here to say this.

This is that extra 10% of creativity that will launch a track into the next level. Earned my sub!
Another gem in the toolbox !
That pad movement is legendary, thank you!
Stunning stuff cheers Luca! Really inspiring
Great tips, will use Frequency Shifter definitely in one of my next tracks. 👍🏻
Good stuff!
🔥🔥🔥
One small correction, you said Frequency Shifter is "non linear" but it's actually linear, that's why it affects sound the way it does, like ring modulation. Frequencies are on a logarithmic scale, so when you apply freq shift it sounds "weird" unless it's an integer multiple of the initial frequency content, which is impossible unless you're only using single sine waves. But it's a small detail, great video!
The sound at around 6:00 reminds me of the Quake 3 menu sounds :D ruclips.net/video/PhgQOyn57BU/видео.html
