Lee is a true Gentleman. He never bashes or looks down on any era
Dude is so chill ❤
He's underrated. Nobody talks about him. He won 8 times champ 🏆
The pre bubblegut era.
Still we crave to see such physiques sir 🥲🫡
The Golden Era of Bodybuilders was the absolute best era in Bodybuilding. Lee Haney was the last of the truly great inspirational Bodybuilders ( In my opinion). I was a teenager in the Golden Era and completely obsessed with hitting the gym faithfully and giving it all I had every workout. I used to read Muscle & Fitness Magazine and stair at Arnold working out on a particular body-parts I was going to do that day in his Book Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding.too get Fired up as Hell.! Entered one Bodybuilding Competition at the age of 17 ( was closer to 18) 4 guys in my age group I took 2nd Place. I wasn’t upset about not getting the Gold Trophy because I knew I was 100% Natural and the guy who got 1st place later revealed he was on Deca, Winsrol and something else that adds to your vascularity. This Competition was WAY back in 1985 and nobody made a fuss about even teenage Bodybuilders doing Roids back then.
I Agree With 1,000% 🤷🏿♂️. I Used To Thumb Through Old Bodybuilding Magazines That I Found At The Used Bookstores My Dad Introduced Me To As A Child. Twice Per Month My Dad And I Would Go "Digging". This Is 1981-83 Or So. Strength And Conditioning, Aeronautics And History Books. You Could Get A Ton Of Books For .25-1.00 Each. I Saw Silver Era Guys Like Harold Poole, Leroy Colbert, John Grimek And All Of The Greats. The Old School Guys Rugged, Symmetrical And Functional. Chuck Sipes And Dave Draper For Example... AWESOME PHYSIQUES! Golden, Silver And Even Lots Of 19th Century Guys Built Aesthetically Pleasing Bodies, Not This Mutant Looking Stuff That It Has Become.
You looked better than what came after you had more muscle with the small waist and joints . Your were the goat
Lee Haney had nowhere near as much muscle as Dorian or Ronnie.
Ronnie had the most muscle but Lee had a body that was big and still looked good most people who would chose Lee . I think the judges should have kept the judging more like the classic of today . We all have what we like and by no means would I say what you think is wrong . But I am right hehehe
@brennand933 early Ronnie had a great physique, otherwise it was not pretty
@@theloftylifter2832 I mentioned nothing about being pretty. The original comment i was responding to said that Lee Haney had more muscle than Ronnie, which isn’t even remotely true. Ronnie was almost 300lbs while being stage lean. Lee Haney was a midget compared to that
@brennand933 Midget or not Haney's physique was superior 💪
Lee Haney is such great Guy
Dorian is the original bubblegut.
He literally started the trend.
Old school is better
Respect to lee for giving props to dorian, 2 greats of the sport.
The goat
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️
And this is professional bodybuilding 's greatest flaw. What the judges want to see. Winning not based on heaviest lift, number of reps, or best time. All based on the view and opinion on how the judges felt that day or night , and criteria subject to change.
Judges have a set criteria they must grade. It’s not based on pure feelings. Please do more research before you make ignorant statements like this
@brennand933 Believe that illusion if you want. I am going to with what the actual competitors have confessed vs a commentor. Have a nice day. Comment stays up. 😁
@@Person70519 The competitors aren’t judges dummy. You can literally go find the criteria online but you’re too lazy to do it. The one believing an illusion is you buddy. Competitors who lose get salty complain that the judging didn’t go their way, they’re sore losers. That’s it 🤷♂️
@@brennand933Set criteria can literally change anytime they want
@@maxpowers4436 that’s not how it works. Also, even when criteria does change, that still applies to all the competitors so it changes nothing in terms of standards being applied evenly
Fantastic
Facts
I can't imagine what Haney would look like if He decided to use GH and slin like Dorian and Coleman. He definately would have gave the king a run for his money.
Take a shot everytime Lee Haney mentions his 31 inch waist
Dorian had serious delts . Best delts in the business 👌
Dreaming. Levrone had far better delts than Dorian
@@accradata levrone on the bottom of the list. Paul dillet, flex wheeler are above levrone
@lesant7659 once again my friend, you are dreaming. Neither of the men you just mentioned had even close to the quality of the delts of Kevin Levrone - which is of course my original response to your comment regarding Dorian's delts, which also were not even close to being as good as Kevin Levrone's. Hope this helps👍
@@accradata my man accradata , abracadabra " POUF"" Y'all disappeared. Levrone also. Lata!
@lesant7659 just as I thought - you have nothing to add to counter the very obvious and absolutely correct point I have made. My work here is done. Have a fantastic day my friend.
🏴🏋️🏋️🏋️🏴

Dorian is the original bubble gut.
He literally started the trend.
