Tom is a legend, he deserves this title but Luke is the ultimate role model in my eyes. He is a real sportsman, kind considerate and super supportive of his younger brother. He should also be proud of his achievements, it might not be the position he or we had wished for him but he is the reason a lot of us love this sport, Koa is so lucky to have such a fantastic daddy.
Nothing gives goosebumps like hearing “Come on, Tom!”

The reason why the Stoltmans and Mitch are so popular isn't just physical achievement. There is heart and integrity in how they do what they do. It shines out of em.

I have so much trouble getting my teenage daughter, who is autistic, to get motivated about fitness. I told her about you yday and your win and it got her to put her helmet on and go for a ride on her trike!

I root for mitch and always will because the effort he put into social media and educating me on how to be a better lifts. The time he takes with the fans. He respect and friendship he builds with other athletes. But If anyone else were to win it of course I'd want it to be Tom. I'm becoming a fan of the Stoltman's as well

@joshuaeason3426 yeah I am looking forward to it. But we dunno the events yet, and they don't tend to suit Tom quite as well (in saying that I suspect he could have won last year's had the events not been changed at the last minute giving him no time to catch up)

My youngest child is Autistic. As a Father, seeing how successful and very special man Tom Stoltman is gives me high hopes for my baby boy in his path to life. Luke, you are a great big brother and I love how the two of you push each other for greatness. Now that my idol in Strong Man Brian Shaw is retired, you best believe I am a Stoltman fan until the end. Big Congratulations Tom!!! You deserve it Bud.
Luke and Tom are an inspiration to so many. I have a cousin that is Autistic. He went to a college that allowed him to get an education and he is now an accountant.

Make sure you check either you or your wife! As someone who's autistic himself, and only found about at 24 just like my gf, we both see how obvious the hidden autism is in our parents, and it's always genetic, if not at least from parents, it's from grandparents, autism is more easily hidden than most people think
Alcoholism, autism, dyslexia, and ETC are genetic. I am not meaning this in a bad way, but you have autistic cousin, or a son. Someone in your family has it and is a really good at hiding it.

@@Samuel-er6td No guarantee for that. Maybe he would but truth is at this level of competition you need to bring your A-game and be 100% and Mitch was not 100%
@@Samuel-er6td noone forced Mitch to attempt to finish the frame 5+ times. If he stopped after attempt 2 or 3, his hands would be better. His grip just wasn't there, and with each attempt his hands took more and more damage. Thats like someone attempting 5 times to deadlift certain weight, failing each time, and then having back issues. A strongman should know when to pull back and prevent injury. All respect to Mitch for great performance, I can't imagine doing anything with hands like that.
@@dominikklaban9795 Yeah the reality is, if mitch's hands didn't rip, there's a very strong chance he'd have won overall, but A. that's not guaranteed, and B. he said himself that that is simply part of it, his hands ripped for a reason, whether he grabbed it wrong or his grip gave out or whatever, but it's ultimately something he did wrong, and therefore tom clearly deserved to win. Next year I doubt mitch will make the same mistake, so it'll likely be incredibly close.

I am still amazed that a sport that shows such strength and aggression, the competitors all come across as humble and down to earth people.
These vlogs really show just how great the strongman community is. There doesn't seem to be a lot of ego's backstage and the competitors all come across as one big happy family.

As a fan, I loved this WSM. Granted, I would have loved for Mitch to not have torn his hands, but still pulling off 2nd with torn hands after the first event is incredible IMO.
