yeah, they televise skateboarding competitions. I don't understand why strongman isn't televised
Absolutely moronic to not broadcast. It's like they want to keep this sport ultra-niche.
Streaming could work, but TV not so much. Theres a couple hours between events (they need it to recover). Theres no reason it couldn’t air on TV within a day or two, certainly a week at worst.
It's a bunch of white western man being the strongest in the world goes against the globalists agenda. I guess that's why they don't broadcast it live on a lot of places

He used to piss me off when it seemed he was using more energy throwing the weights down than when he lifted. I hope he has his head together finally.
I was so surprised when I watched the first interview with him, I have never seen him this calm, not even out of competition. I think it is not only good for his performance, but also for his health to be able to turn his intensity down a few notches and save it for when it counts.

It's YT TOS indeed. Both background and hands are blurry, so that means it's not him messing up on filming/camera not auto-focussing correctly.
@@R.James. and you can still see enough to know that it is quite nasty; there are a lot of viewers without the stomach for it as well so it could've been a decision to respect those viewers.

Singleton not being crazy and aggressive all the time is the best thing he could do. The other guys always said he has the strength, explosiveness and power to do great at these events but somehow always underperforms. This on/off switch is perfect. Id love to see him win it 💪
Man If Evan Singleton starts acting mature and adult about his strong man career I bet you that new mind set would take him far. It's starting to seem like hanging with brian has him taking things seriously now. FWIW I stan Singleton but if he adopts Brian's Mindset he will be an absolute animal.

Nah, he clearly always took it seriously. If anything, he took it too seriously and has now realised that he needs to be more sparing when tapping into the sympathetic nervous system to get the most out of his body.

Bish has always been a deadlift monster. In the UK's they were doing 400kg for reps (yep, reps) and Bish won
@@ronanmcw yeah but so many people were expecting Hooper to win that and Adam beat them by over nine seconds. I was shocked he beat him by that much. Really stinks. He got injured. And yes I know he’s a great dead lifter, but wow that was special.

I really like the new Evan Singleton. Outside of competition he's super likeable and balanced, and when it comes to fighting he's full throttle T Rex. Evan, I'm your new fan, good luck for the final.

Feel bad for hooper, would've easily won that first event
Dont get me wrong because im rooting for hooper, but if the other guys did not have the same issue at this same event I guess Hooper was doing something wrong, grabbing it wrong or whatever. I mean, i dont think it was just bad luck, unless his hands were already in specially bad condition.
@@vanessaruiz4705my hands have been perfectly callused, and I've been training for years one day after training at a different gym with a different bar 2 calluses just ripped clean off making it super painful to grab barbells or dumbbells for the rest of that session just due to your brain telling you to stop because of the sensitive exposed areas. Takes a couple days before you can grab things with pain and it's still almost finished healing now after a couple months. Sometimes it is just either different materials or just bad luck.
Will have to see when we are allowed to watch the event what happens

Tom has a great chance of winning now. You'd assume he will win the stones, so if he gets two other 2nd places then he will win. Even two third places could be enough, as you can't imagine Hooper will do very well with the stones, especially with the condition of his hands.

That's honestly how it should be this is a weightlifting competition not a football game. You're not hitting each other.
Since hopper learned the split jerk method of getting weight over head that has helped him a ton with moving barbells over head. Not all strongmen can do split jerk it really makes a big difference
And it should be banned in my opinion. This doesn t belong to strongman, but to weightlifting

@@bigstier7115the main theme of strongman is to move a heavy object from point A to point B in any way that works for you and does not break the rules. Mitch and Pavlo and a lot of the strongmen in lighter weight classes use a technique that's more efficient for them and doesn't break any rules. Using better technique is not wrong.

It is so good to see Evan Singleton performing nearer to his potential. WSM needs people like him on the podium (I would say the energy Evan gives close to what we had with Eddie/Hafthor).

Stoltman brothers look better than ever this year, it will be a tough battle between Hooper, Singleton and Tom I'd say. Sucks that we don't have Bishop and Bilton at the finals.

Just for clarification, the "beach chair" provided to Adam Bishop comes from the city of Myrtle Beach. They provide it to folks who visit Myrtle beach and require a wheelchair for mobility but would still like to go on the beach. Now go be great!
