►Pokémon Masters was first announced by The Pokémon Company on May 29, 2019, alongside some other Pokémon games. It represents the first collaboration between the company and mobile game developer DeNA, and will be released for Android and iOS. The concept of the game came from series artist and designer Ken Sugimori who proposed the idea of having all past characters from the main series together in one game. It is expected to be released on August 29, 2019.

That’s the whole point of a gacha game if you want the characters either get lucky or spend money on the game, just stay f2p, no ones forcing you to pay money, this is mainly for people who don’t mind investing money into the game to get better characters
Jorge OvO investment means you at least get something good out of the money someone puts in. Instead this is like thanks for the donation, heres a chance you might get the item you’re looking for. Also as soon as support stops theres go the servers for the games. You just wastes money on a game that barely lasted X amount of years.
People take it too far and end up in debt or get the whole gambling addiction of spending all their money in these games.
Don’t mean to turn this into a rant, these types of games are so short term, and are only profitable to the company making it. Sure some devs are good. I rather they use that idea for a mobile game into a fully fledged game. Sadly microtransactions in games like these are most profitable.

@@aaronfranklin8038 I don't know about that game in particular, so you may be right, but F2P games in general are designed in a way where the player is incentivized to spend money on micro-transactions. if you think about it for a second, you should realize that they HAVE to be designed like that. otherwise, where else would the money come from? developing games is expensive. so in virtually all cases, the game design is compromised with RNG mechanics and locked content that have the sole purpose of pushing micro-transaction sales. maybe there's a tiny number of exceptions, but reality is that almost all F2P games are in essence digital casinos making gambling accessible to kids and other demographics prone to gambling addiction.

This is an extremely inaccurate representation of gacha games, in games such as Dragalia Lost and Pokemon Masters, both released by nintendo, you want as many duplicates as the game will give you since that's the only way to really upgrade your units, especially in pokemon Masters. 60 units is probably the smallest pool I've ever heard of, and a 7 percent drop rate is ridiculously high. There are games with over 300 units that .5 max value drop rates. You do want as many new units as possible once you first start the game so that was some bad luck on your end, but all things considered you didnt do that bad. You got so many duplicates because of the lack of units currently in the game, and again, you want duplicates because that's the only way to max out your units

I play quite a few gacha games, so I assume when you see a rainbow flash it means you got a 5* in your sync. Just a heads up for anyone who plans on playing this. That's most likely how you'll know you'll get a 5*
Also: Protip, always save gems since there will most likely be trainer specific banners in the future. So someone you like may be on rate up, and you'll have a better chance for that character.

Hey PokeTips, there is actually a way to tell which trainer you are getting.
3 star: Blue background, no antenna.
4 star: Blue background, antenna.
5 star: Lightning at the start, rainbow background, satellite.
For x10, it could be any of the 3. I think it just chooses a trainer that is going to be pulled and shows the animation depending on what it picked.
Like every Gatcha game they always away to tell if you're getting a 5* Or lower cause each has a different Aura, colour , Animation and such

I have been purchasing the Weekly Jewels Extravaganza, (WJE) in (KHUX) KINGDOM HEARTS UNION ✗[CROSS] Since it came out in 2016. Every week, it started out being only $14.99. They have since raised it up a bit. It is
NOW $15 and some change. So, ALL in ALL, over the course of three, almost four years, I have now spent WELL OVER a few hundred dollars on that game. Yes, I know what YOU are doing is a little bit different. You are spending $100 on a game ALL AT ONCE. BY THE WAY, I HAVE Downloaded this game. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I like that it's an ACTUAL POKÉMON game. There is also Pokémon Rumble Rush which has ACTUAL Pokémon in it.
Some games show us "Pokémon", but then, when you download it, it's something else entirely different.

Yeah, but how long will that last? Especially considering it has a popular brand like Pokemon. Because I remember enjoying Yugioh Duel Links until it became an absolute p2w and tried to trick me with the same f2w attitude at the beginning that Pokemon Masters has...temporarily.
