To be fair, Tottenham Hotspur is probably the best club to buy a stake in right now. It’s a sleeping giant with so much potential, they just need to sort out the footballing side and win something. 4th biggest club in the UK terms of revenue after Man Utd, Liverpool, and Man City. Yes, it generates more than Arsenal and Chelsea, and will overtake Liverpool in the next couple of seasons. No FFP, always makes a profit, massive fan base, 5 year+ season ticket waiting list, brand new state of the art stadium and training centre, in London etc… Although, it does have debt, its extremely well run. Most other clubs will need to commit and spend big on their stadiums in the next few years and Spurs have already done it.
As a non Spurs fan I'd say the recruitment has been pretty meh and they won't win anything spending big money on Richarlison, Lo Celso, Bentancur, Kulusevski, Ndombele, Hjolberg, Johnson, Spence. However maybe Ange has fixed this as Udogie, Porro, Van der vern, Maddison et al look much better.

Brentford, Fulham, Ipswich, Southampton, Brighton, Crystal Palace, West Ham, Bournemouth, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham. 11 of the 20 clubs in the Premier League are in or near to London. In 1900 there were none. Of course there's currently a hegemony based on bought success and unequal trading, but this is not sustainable, and Chelsea is a clear example of bought success. City will lose some if not all of its titles and when it does we should damn them to oblivion - no matter how much of a genius their manager is. The tide is with the south, we either recognise it or we wake up to it.

Hmm, I’m not sure. Do you remember what Spurs were before he came in? Yeah they may have won the occasional cup but were not financially stable. Now they’re one of the biggest and richest clubs in the world and built sustainably without a sugar daddy bankrolling it all so they can now compete for the long term. Sometimes it’s better the devil you know and Spurs could very easily have been Everton without his business savvy

Don't want to make something out of what is maybe nothing, and I know money can paint over many beliefs, even religious ones. But Tottenham is at core still perceived as a jewish club and Staveley's friends are not of that inclination.
I think you will find that some of the investment that staveley acquired for the purchase of Newcastle was from the Ruben brothers who are jewish
