Such a fantastic interview. JT will always be a rock at Chelsea. Every player that passes through the club should definitely read about this man and every top player that donned the shirt of Chelsea within 2003 to 2013.
JT just needs to be involved with the Chelsea first team. Maybe Jose in charge with JT assistant throwing tea cups at half time etc! Also Lamps should be running the recruitment and linking with Neil Bath and the academy because Bath is genius but Lamps would promote the best young players to the first team squad.

It feels like that he's essentially saying the choice of managers and even tournament itineraries were the key reasons for the underachievement and that makes more sense than the mainstream media narrative that the players just didn't like eachother!
I mean the guy had on two sperate occasions the biggest media campaigns on England going at him like he was running for office.
Absolutely brilliant love or hate JT this was a great interview. Open and honest
Simon Jordan the master of asking questions that are twice as long as the answers
Really enjoyed this. Terrific stuff. Thank you both.
John Luca Vialli and John Franco Zola Chelsea legends 💙
What a way to start my week.... this is a great poke in my mentality for this week .. thanks to everyone that made this possible... I love every Second of the interview... Up the Chels
Rio not talking to you is surely a blessing john . Great interview
Excellent
He's a twat always has been imo says some proper dense things Rio.
Whys that? So this guys the good guy cheating on his team mate? Imagine your misses getting bent over by your colleague 😂 you gonna think he's a top guy then?
@@nickfba Not then partner. Ex partner and all parties deny this including Wayne Bridge so even if it happened you´re carrying a grudge for a guy that does not even back it himself. And wasn´t he seen leaving nightclubs with birds multiple times at that time but no its big bad Terry that ruined that relationship.
The media got you people wrapped around their finger in England you all still parrot those two media campaigns against Terry and act like he´s the worst person ever based on he said - she said situations.
But at the same time are quick to forget what Ryan Giggs did to his own brother.
@@nickfba Rio was cheating on his wife who was dying from cancer, you think he's an angel?
Captain, Leader, Legend 🦁💙
Idolised this man from such a young age and tried to be like him as much as possible on the pitch
Best premier league defender of all time in my opinion, was absolutely buzzing when he came to Villa.
Buzzing ????😂😂😂
He arguably the greatest player in terms of legacy and achievements we’ve ever seen wear the villa shirt, even though of course he was past his best
@@tomgoodway he couldn't lace Paul Mcgrath boots
You sure you're a Villa fan tom. ??🤔🤔
Without Terry I don't think we get promoted. Mans a legend!
Its got not nothing to do with mcgrath you mug. Its got everything to do with his professionalism and hunger to drag our club back up. Mug
Gutted they didn't touch on the Wayne bridge stuff. Class player and born leader. As a united fan I used to hate this man but what a player and should be held as one of the greatest of all time
Captain. Leader. Legend.
My favourite Chelsea player.
Fantastic interview, really insightful as to what it takes to be one of the best! JT is an incredible leader.
John Terry is a legend man and I'm not even a Chelsea fan. Easily the greatest ever centre back to play in the Premier League and you'll not get anyone come close to him unless we change football players to lesser robots..
Not skillwise= just his sheer determination and passion for the game
Very honest and emotional interview...well done John
Mourinho called the other day, - JM and JT to Chelsea part 3?
Loved this convo from JT Simon good insight .. You can tell he lived for footy grateful for what he did at Villa and England well general football ledge
Terry looks like he hasn’t aged….might be because he always looked 35yrs old, even at 21.
Yeah, I don’t think it’s much to do with ageing. He always had those jowls.
looooooooooooool!!!!!!
What a Player and Leader JT....CFC LEGEND! love my Captain ❤
In all the years I watched Mourinho I also never doubted his decisions. With Poch I go wtf all the time.
I 100% agree with you but for me the biggest difference is the players I look at all the players now and I don't see any player who is Chelsea level even when Jose was at the bridge we had players that were not great but they always give it there All the only 2 players that a think we have that give it there all every game is thiago silva and Cole palmer the rest are there for a fat paycheck
I met JT in 2005 before chelsea won the prem in Harrods looking at music CDs, got his autograph I was just a teenager, top bloke
Chelsea legend forever!! We could do with 10 JT's at the club right now.
Even one would do 😢
I agree but then we would only ever get one JT? he is unique.
Wayne Bridge would disagree! 🤣
Clownlake out!
Think 5 would b gd lol well have 3 Drogba’s 2 Lampard’s 1 Cech
Brilliant ..brutal honesty from JT and great questions from Simon Jordan
Should have Jose Mourinho on this podcast that be amazing
Such a fantastic interview. JT will always be a rock at Chelsea. Every player that passes through the club should definitely read about this man and every top player that donned the shirt of Chelsea within 2003 to 2013.
JT just needs to be involved with the Chelsea first team. Maybe Jose in charge with JT assistant throwing tea cups at half time etc! Also Lamps should be running the recruitment and linking with Neil Bath and the academy because Bath is genius but Lamps would promote the best young players to the first team squad.
Even as a Man Utd fan, that Moscow bit touched me, him looking and saying ; why did it have to rain ???
JT ❤❤
Just here after being so down with poch’s Chelsea to get my mojo back. This interview is really a stress reliever. Kudos to the legend John Terry proper Chelsea. Hope our young squad takes some notes from this interview. We really miss players like JT who win or loss left everything out there on the pitch.
I love it when Simon finishes off the end of JTs answers
Viva John Terry!!!
That diving header save against Slovenia was what separates him from the rest. You just dont see it anymore in this age. Man truly leaves everything on the pitch, whether for Chelsea or England.
Hard to say this being a Liverpool fan but JT was different mustard. If we had JT along side Virgil then we would be winning everything! Always gave 110% and was a beast
Vvd is one of the last in a dying breed of defenders a player who isn't afraid to get hurt to defend his team
we love you john, captain leader legend, brilliant interview simon, please bring also lamps and jose
Simons bottled it with the Anton Ferdinand question
Shocking the way, Anton went on with John Terry feel for the lad.
Yeh, couldn't understand why he didn't just ask "what did you say to Anton". Simple question, no need for the other questions that just dance around it.
@@chriscummings1279 lol Would you like to write that in English?
@@OuchPleaseNoooo good point
@@deslawson2662 Indubitably. Basically it was absolutely horrifically bad, how John Terry got treated it was so bad.
Am 10 minute 15 seconds in, and its already the best and most intriguing documentary I have ever seen ! Yes I am a Chelsea fan though 😅💙 j.t what a guy !!
Great interview
Best podcast so far! John terry what a legend, not the most talented but his mindset & dedication was like no other
"I owe Mourinho everything... but Wayne Bridge still scares the life out of me!" 🤣
Terry selling himself short technically, I think. He could play. Hugely underrated on the deck
Burden of proof John. We know Simon isn’t silly. Simon 10000% “pulled his punches” in this one
Simon is right need to hear more from John Terry class brilliant interview could have listened to even more
I am Black, I am West Ham. This is the best interview I have seen in years. Love how John has come across here. Lot of respect.
How the f#ck is it relevant that your black 🤷♂️🤣😂 turn it in bro
You're not though are you
Why is being black and a West Ham fan relevant?
@@somethingisbaking2401 Because JT is a racist and the fella posting is highlighting he has every reason to dislike him. Not hard to figure out is it.
@@somethingisbaking2401cause of the Anton Ferdinand thing and him being called racist with no evidence
Massively solid interview. Loved it.
