@@bakergovender3291Negative negative. Explain the Liverpool success? You and I know British ownership are ridged and not winners whilst American ownership are open minded and winning spirit and Liverpool are a perfect example of that!
Tottenham Hotspur's prolonged trophy drought can be significantly attributed to the negativity surrounding its fanbase. Many supporters are quick to criticize players, management, and Daniel Levy, creating a toxic environment that hinders performance and deters potential signings. This impatience leads to frequent managerial changes, often dismissing great managers like José Mourinho, Antonio Conte, and now Ange Postecoglou after only 18 months or so, preventing the establishment of a consistent philosophy necessary for success. When results decline, protests against Levy emerge, demoralizing the squad and fostering division. While fans may rally behind the team during winning streaks, the atmosphere shifts to hostility during tough times, creating insecurity among players. Additionally, the negative media environment, fueled by vloggers and social media, amplifies grievances and perpetuates a cycle of despair. After the successes of renowned managers, it’s clear that the issue lies not with them but with the fans and the negativity surrounding the club. Until the fanbase can cultivate a more supportive and constructive atmosphere, Tottenham will struggle to attract top talent and build a sustainable path to success. Unity and positivity are essential for breaking free from this cycle of disappointment.

The questions need to be for the owners. "The manager says he won't change. 8th is lowest finish in past 15 seasons. If he doesn't finish at least 8th he's gone, yeah?". Being stubborn isn't a pro if you are not succeeding. How is Ange's performance any better than Southampton's manager this season?
Bit of a late comment. Sir Jordan, we all know you can play the chairman position. Would you please like to play it at Tottenham Hotspur? The center back position is open as well. 😉 As far as the manager conversation goes, Ange is the best thing that happened to Spurs since Poch. Club needs to back him up with a couple of proper signings, as soon as this January. As a fan I've had enough of "pragmatic" BS for 3 years under Jose, Nuno and Antonio. That is not the THFC way, and it felt like, neither of them didn't really wanted to be there either. Love to listen to your show. Greetings from Canada
Lots of talks, but.. Spurs have two main center-backs sidelined. Davis, who can play centre, is also injured. Their solid midfielder is suspended by the woke league. Out of three experienced strikers, one is injured. Liverpool has six strikers that can be starters in any other teams, so it can afford playing three, resting the rest. The result shouldn’t surprise anyone. Why are there so many repeated injuries? Lack of training, the stile of playing? Or just bad luck.
Keown likes bringing up the Spurs fans and the City game. You should have been around North London in 2019 when Arsenal fans would have been happy to lose the Europa League final if it meant Spurs didn't win the Champions League. Arsenal fans are quick to forget

@@bakergovender3291 What has Daniel Levy done? Daniel Levy has not improved as a good owner. Explain that?
@@Just_an_Azn_guy Liverpool has been struggling for years? Could you care to explain
“Everyone has to take their responsibility. Not only the club, the manager and the staff. The players have to be involved in this situation because it is time to change this situation if Tottenham want to change."
“They can change the manager, a lot of managers, but the situation cannot change. Believe me.”
i think Ange will be the next manager to be sacked
@liammahoney-ub4tu It would be a big mistake to sack him in my opinion. I think Glasner is in serious trouble if results keep going this way.
"He'll make adjustments" lool Simon is a joke man. Postecoglou says he wont change and he hasnt and hes getting worse he needs to go
When they get offered chocolate cake they want sticky toffee pudding. When they get the sticky toffee pudding they want the chocolate cake.
Would the Liverpool manager be happy losing at home 3-6 ?
How many players did we have injured compared to them? Little context wouldn't go a miss here
Can't compare the 2 clubs, liverpool are giants of England and Europe the level, standards, honours, the whole history, you just can't compare the 2 clubs expectations. Spurs have always been mediocre, regardless what the fans want. Every club wants more I'm afraid
@mvdf28 But slot said before the game he likes the way Spurs play , I bet he does , Ange fell for his game management. 🤣
@mickyb8076 so you would have fancied our chances if we had a fully fit team ?🤣
He wasn't even that happy after this thrashing because Liverpool took their foot off the gas for 15 mins and let Spurs score two more goals.
The caller Darren, was spot on!
Facts Ange needs to be backed
I remember Vincent Kompany saying that he wouldn't change Burnley's style of play - look what happened to him. Ange hasn't got the players available that can play the way he wants - he needs to play to the strengths of the players he's got fit. The fact that he doesn't makes him a one plan man and not as good a manager as people tend to think.
@@governmeharder Blame Daniel Levy! He needs to SPEND! Just like Arsenal!
Getting into Europe for the following season is priority. Currently middle table isn't going to achieve Europe and very unlikely to win a cup. Only a massive overhaul in changing quite a few things by the end of January will give Spurs a chance.
Let us all see what is going to happen in January😮😮😮😮😮
Stop blaming Levy. He does not coach the side.
He hires the coaches fool
@@bakergovender3291 Explain to me why Liverpool is doing well ownership wise? Also Daniel Levy got you duped 😮😮😮
@@fredbellows4836 instead of debating the issue on hand. You go and name people aa fool, because they disagree. You got no idea what it is to have to run a club as Tottenham.
@@bakergovender3291Negative negative. Explain the Liverpool success? You and I know British ownership are ridged and not winners whilst American ownership are open minded and winning spirit and Liverpool are a perfect example of that!
@@FrederickBonahbecause the owner backs the chairman unlike at Tottenham where the owner doesn't back the chairman
If Keown says we should: ‘stick with the manager.’ Then it’s time to get rid!
The thing is that they are a small club. People tend to forget that they have overachieved in the past decade
Spurs are on a journey with Ange.
I believe Spurs will get the balance right.
I'm sure that you are aware that they currently sit in 11th place. What end of the table is the journey taking them?
Ange ball needs a goalkeeper that is active not a goal line stopper
10 players out ! Behave
Yeah That's why they lost to Ipswich and Leicester it wasn't anges tactics of not defending at all 🙄
10 players? 4
Vic romaro, vdv injured bentancur suspended the rest oderbert, Richarlson and the rest bench fooder at best let's quite this stupid retric we are where we are because of ange and his pathetic tactical ineptitude
Stop talking nonsense, maybe 3 of those are first team players, 4 at a push.
Ange need's to go, he's clueless, try and get the Bournemouth manager in, Iraola
Yeah try enticing a manager who is winning into a new role 🤡
Ange getting over Morons who not coaching anything repeating themselves everyday with opinions on how he should do his job😅
the season ticket holder that said he is loving it is in a minority.
Football absolutely is not an entertainment business. It's about winning.
Professional sports are fundamentally about entertainment
@Trecesolotienesdos I absolutely disagree with you. If I'm a professional sportsman, I don't care about entertaining anyone. I'm all about winning.
No one is talking about 10 first team players being out!! Why not??
Ange needed more depth this past Summer. Board failed him. Needs backing in January. Wont get it. Another scapegoat/sacrificial lamb for the Tottenham Board. Ange is going to go down swinging, not compromising to try and eke out a result here and there. He now is fully aware that he will not be backed- look how much he has been smiling this week. I like the way he is going out- wish some above him would be as principled as he is being.
I am a Spurs fan and I hate Arsenal fans or Chelsea fans calling in to pretend to be Spurs fans and say I dont care about losing I just want to be entertianied and Simon and the panel believes it. IF you speak to Spurs fans the want to see winning exciting football.
Martin talking & writing at the same time does my head in 😂 he’s a complete company man. He reads everything off a piece of paper
And if Spurs beat Arsenal in the milk cup final?
Bit of a late comment.
Sir Jordan, we all know you can play the chairman position. Would you please like to play it at Tottenham Hotspur? The center back position is open as well. 😉
As far as the manager conversation goes, Ange is the best thing that happened to Spurs since Poch.
"The fans go there" Guys you dont have a clue. So many fans aren't going, they sell their ticket game in - game out. Why the atmosphere is what it is.
Martin, an element of the fans celebrated. Not all
Slot gave them a little bit of toffee ( like Bob Paisley used to do ).
Keown likes bringing up the Spurs fans and the City game. You should have been around North London in 2019 when Arsenal fans would have been happy to lose the Europa League final if it meant Spurs didn't win the Champions League. Arsenal fans are quick to forget
Problem is with Angela. He wants to change the culture of the club in terms of mentality. But he doesn't react to a crisis. He needs to look in the mirror. But he's clueless and stubborn.
Do question Daniel Levy’s leadership?
@FrederickBonah on or off the pitch?
Levy is an accountant by trade, Lewis and enic knew the premier league would grow. So I'm terms of growing their brand, yes it's been a success, but on the pitch it hasn't been. 25 years worth of 1 league cup win is a shocking return.
Levy never takes risks and goes the extra mile to take us to a higher level in terms of recruitment. That's clear to see.
@ Both
@FrederickBonah for doctor evil to sack a manager 6 days before a final, only to benefit financially from that decision is the lowest of the lowest in terms of leadership. We have had 2 fairly decent managers in 25 years. Harry and Poch. Wasted amounts of money to poor players under his watch. The bale funds as a clear example, need i go on?
At least Ange goes for it though. Too many teams sit back and play for a draw against the better teams
Jim White is such a good host. I don't like Talksport but I watch/listen when he is on.
Anyone know what team he supports? Just asking...
Ange is a breath of fresh air.
Spurs are great for football.
Great to laugh at 😂
If you don't support Spurs...
for the neutral...
martin still really believes in that barnet
Media hype & nonsense he is missing his entire backline almost, they were always getting beaten by a superb Liverpool side, whatever tactics he used, at least you saw your side score three rather than lose 0-3 can everyone criticising this manager stfu i would give anything to see this football at Millwall.
Missing entire backline so..... you at least try and play 2 DCMs? Get full backs to sit and narrow? Spurs midfield was non existing, basically 4-0-4.
@@danielwebb8402 and would have got picked off 0-3
@Warrenthornton-therealtruth paying fans would want to see a spirited performance. Not one where you concede 6 at home.
@JimMelton-uf7rg It was spirited they scored three goals while having ten players out while playing the best team in the country so lets have some balance, we once played Rotherham at home and got beat 0-6
Only Spurs fans are happy with mediocre results.
As a Liverpool fan I hated what Slot said about Spurs. Too nice for me and no way are season ticket holders are happy, they moan every week
Why hate what Slot said? I am not the truth must be told. 23 years of mediocrity featuring Daniel Levy leadership as an owner
Great to hear DAVO on the show
Martin keown is a hard listen
And he says nothing of real or novel value
I think ange will bring success to spurs if he gets the time
