@@abdvs325 A manager is partly responsible for how a players play but at the end of the day when a player steps out onto the pitch the ownus is then on them. Ten Hag tactical setup was a disaster yes. However Casemiro made 2 mistakes and Mainoo made a mistake which all led to 3 Goals. However it was thanks to the likes of D Szobozlai pressing Casemiro that led to his mistake and Mac Allister pushing Mainoo off the ball that caused his. That fighting spirit and determination was huge in Liverpools midfield I saw none of that in United.s
Bruno Fernades was none existent today, Rashford didn't track back and press Trent which led to Trent scoring first (Salah was offside) but if he wasn't then Rashford is again massively at fault. United has had gone through so many managers in the last decade. At some point you need to realise it's not always on the manager but the players (Rashford) as well.
Thats not even mentioning the fact that Gravenberch.

      ✅ 3x fouls won (most)
      ✅ 2/2 tackles won
Dominik Szoboszlai made the most recoveries (10). He also created 4 chances (the second most)
Mac Allister won the most tackles on the pitch (5/6) and completed the most passes (45) out of LFC’s midfielders. He also made the second most recoveries (8).

Ten Hag isn't the one negotiating these deals and then there's the real top players themselves who don't want to go to Manchester united so they've been AND desperate for players AND have only 2nd or 3rd choice players available... That's a terrible combination for spending 💰 and the quality you add to the club for that money.

Of course, it doesnt mean theyre going to win every match, all 3 of these clubs have gone through poor runs of form but when you go to the matches you know what youre going to see. Slot is looking like a real gem, so tactically astute and a great communicator.
I can’t see how Manchester United think that playing 3 new players and 2 teenagers who have very little experience is gonna be nothing but a walk over for an experienced team like what Liverpool had on show.
Konate and Gravenberch have each played about 150-200 games and are the least experienced on the pitch for Liverpool.
Liverpool had real balance on the pitch and also impressive balance on the bench filled with real quality and experience.

there was a Sky Sports analysis a few years ago, Neville and Keane were going psycho at getting beat again but they couldn't bring themselves to confront the actual truth of what was going on. Chiefly, they refused to put any criticism on the manager or any of the homegrown darlings such as Rashford and Mctominay. It was left to Micah Richards of all people to be pointing out the things that Gary and Roy were simply too spineless to say, even though deep down they knew it was all correct.

United have not had a style of play, regardless of injuries, there is STILL no identity and they are a badly coached team. The forward players ONLY go for the killer pass. I am currently watching Real Betis play against Real Madrid in the first half and they have so many patterns of play compared to us, it's astonishing. Now, they might go on and lose the game but having an identity brings consistency. Neville's cognitive dissonance on that weird point he was trying to make. He's desperate. Carragher also pointed out that Liverpool and Bayern HAD to appoint new managers as their current managers were leaving. United on the other hand had to make a bold decision, which anybody with half a brain would know would be to sack 7hag. Instead they bottled it and extended his contract, but just by a year. So a total half arsed commitment to the manager. You either back him properly with a few more years or you sack him. You dont spend a month publicly flirting with other managers, then go back with your tail between your legs and just take the one year option. Absolutely clueless management from Ineos. So too is allowing ten hag free reign to blow the remaining budget on more Eredivise standard players.

To be fair, Ten Hag is into his third season now. You ought to know your best formation, starting 11, etc. by now. How many years does it take to figure out how you want to play with regards to the players you have available?
From a Liverpool point of view, the result is everything we wanted. Mo scored his customary Old Trafford goal, Diaz looked very sharp, the midfield trio were bossing their counterparts, the defence looked solid, overall the perfect Sunday afternoon. YNWA!

18:46 this section of what G.Nev says, is for me exactly where I think we’re at as a club team, and I think the best thing that could have happened to United this summer was SJR and the infrastructure that was built. Now we shall see over the next few years, as we start becoming the new United that all of these moves were necessary and we will be looking down from the perch we got off with Ferguson. I for one see it coming mainly from the youth squads, but I would really like to see EtH getting it right and being the one who wins us our first title. We shall see UTR,and just a little word for Jamie you don’t get anything for 2nd place 😉✌🏼✊🏼 18:46

Would they have sacked Ten Hag if he lost the cup final? Yes. So they bottled it!!! They were terrified of the fans backlash. Brought in Ruud Van Nistelrooy so they can get rid of Ten Hag after a few dodgy results. Cashworth tapping up Southgate as we speak! 😂😂
