Another Top 5 Affordable Cameras - Three years later

- Опубликовано: 5 июл 2024
- Almost three years ago I made a video where I listed 5 really good and relatively affordable cameras that I had owned and liked but for some reason didn’t review. And now when I have decided to sell all my gear in order to buy "My Dream Camera" I thought it was time for 5 more.
The reasons for not making the cut for a review varies but all five cameras are great.

Now I know many are gonna say things like "post a link to where I can by camera x for y amount of dollars". Like last time my answer is NO.
Life is too short for me to do the work for you when I had to do it myself. If I see a good deal and post it here the camera is sold within 5 seconds and I have to look for another. So there is no point, you have to do the leg work.

I love how realistic you are about getting cameras that you actually use. You're my favorite photography channel out there.
Glad you enjoy the channel :)
Man youre making me buy a camera that i dont need haha
But that's the camera you should get, the one you want :)
Cool man, did you make this riff? 035 bro
He did that to me too, countless times. Xt30, xt3, xt2, x100v, x100f, xe3, just to name the fujis.
Two quick notes on the mysterious "Dream Camera".
I'm not trying to be mysterious for some dramatic reveal. It's simply a case of me wanting to buy one before people start to Google it, ranking it up on eBay, getting in people's conscience with raised prices as a result.
EDIT: got a question about this so I thought I might clarify.
Im not trying to claim that my viewers would buy it, because they absolutely would not. No way. But they might google it, and thats what Im afraid of.
Because that would rank it up in peoples search windows when they enter eBay and then it might in fact sell, "others interested in x also looked at y".
And last time I checked there was 5 available world wide. Thats right, 5. Three of them where too expensive. So 2...
Also I'm pretty sure most people guessing and discussing it will be pretty disappointed :)
Leica Q, has to be. 8)
@@Ottaro if you ask one of the GPTD badged members they can debunk it ;)
Lol 😂 More excited now about being disappointed. Will let you know how disappointed I am on a scale of 1-10.😃
It's a Praktica DTL3, isn't it? It was my first camera and the one that taught me the lesson about the glass being WAY more important than the body. These days though the playing field has been levelled a bit.
Well done.
I really love your "eye." It makes me go back and re-watch most of your videos.
Good, quality work, and your humor spices things up.
The videos are therapy! I’m thankful!
Thanks for all your wonderful videos. All the best to you and yours for the coming year.
We wish you the same! :)
This is a great video! So many great and affordable cameras, I want ALL of them!
I'm already in love with the 50r, cant even imagine the 100.
Always love your reviews Mattias. Your recommendations are really cool and it is always good to see that you look for the best in a camera and utilising them to their full potential. I collect a lot of film cameras as well as buying used digital. Probably my favourite purchase which you have recommended is the LX100 mark 1, which I feel is an amazing compact camera. Recently got myself a Sigma DP0 Quattro so am really keen to give that a try. Am really looking forward to see what you end up with next.
Panasonic Leica XL 100. For many reasons, the first one being its cost. I use it professionaly all the time, very discreet in dangerous places, loaded with possibilities (too many in fact). Manual control at every level, good for me as I was trained in the argentic days. Superb Leica lens. The sensor size is adequate for almost every situation, and there are technical solutions when not. I rarely use the excellent 4K video mode, but it's there. I prefer this version to the mark II. There are perhaps better and more pricy cameras, but this one will get you almost anywhere. (I also use a Pentax spotmatic when using film, and a small Nikon in tricky situations). All the best for the new year, and keep up the good work.
Would it still hold up today if I would want to get into photography. ? I’m interested in traveling and I’m not sure if a canon 90 is too big maybe, but it looks profesional which is why I’d want it for clients to start out.
@@PinkPulpito Yes, it does. There are of course better cameras. But the whole package, its versatility, and its cost make it very attractive. Video is also very good and can be used at a professional level. I published several photo books with photos made with it with very good results. Important is the post-production program you will use. I would recommend ART.
As an addition, the X-E2 is essentially the same as the X-E2s after the firmware upgrades. Great little camera! Was my first fuji camera that I got on a whim in a trade for a pc part, and now I got my dad hooked on it as well.
Xf10 is so underrated. I love mine.
I paid less than $250 for a Canon 5D Mark II last year after watch one of your videos. Best purchase ever. I still love my 5D2 and it can even shoot raw videos.
I was waiting for the Leica CL price to go down and now you make this video… haha
I'd never know about the existence of many of these cameras but for your vids. Thanks for the education. May you find perfect, for however long it lasts in camera years...
great review, & awesome photos!
Mattias, you're the best proof I've seen that beautiful images have little to do with the gear. I think you could pull a great image out of almost anything. Whatever your dream camera is, I'm sure you'll have fun with it. But in many ways, you should be making videos on advanced photography, not gear. Too many people are tracking your equipment thinking that's the key to pictures as good as yours. And that has nothing to do with it. You're just a great photographer. Period. Thanks for the visual pleasure!
Got an Olympus based on your previous video. Wow! Best bang for Buck!👍
I can't find a Leica M10 review from you so I think that could be your dream camera.
Ahh I wish you got round to doing a video on the CL! I picked one up last year and absolutey love it. Goes perfectly with that Voigtlander 40mm
With a list like this for such good cameras makes you think why the rush to upgrade by so many.
And still think the cameras in the old list are still valid options today :)
Part of the fun is getting new toys!
@@yapster804 old used toys at bargain prices is much more fun imo.
@@gearreallydoesntmatter Thanks to you i bought a Sigma DP1 merril. It's curing me from my spray and pray affliction.
@@AxelCalvet lovely :)
Great pictures and a interesting review!
Can’t wait to see what the dream camera is. Mine would be a Leica mp film and a 35 mm summicron. Not sure selling everything would pay for it though
Utterly in agreement about the X-E3. Never owned it, regrettably, but loved the experience of taking people pix with the X-E2S, same form factor. Funny how these humpless cameras put up much less of a vibrational wall between you and the subject.
I love the XF10. Glad to see it here :)
I see a mattias video, I click
Great choices, I picked up an XE2 for $200 CAD and the Fuji 27mm f/2.8 for another $200 and have an amazing little rangefinder style camera. Goes everywhere I go.
Great combo!
Love it. Great video.
Hi Mattias, thank you for your very precious sharing here, and I get myself of the pana lx100 as well at last. And could I know how do you shoot the raw image during the video recording ??
E-M10 II. So far I have 17, 25 & 45mm primes, 60mm macro, 14-150mm & my two kit lenses. In two years spent about $2000, only two lenses are used and all are Olympus glass. I certainly won't complain.
I really enjoy my X100. And I was about to buy an olympus stylus 1 and the dp2, but after this video I am really thinking to consider the xe2s coz I like to shoot with old lenses too ! Thanks for this video ! A great one as always :)
Glad to see the Fuji xf10 here :) I've been wanting to get a Fuji for a long time but always out of reach because of the price. there were a lot of Fuji cameras for a budget price but the dream camera is the fuji x100, since the day of its release I've been wanting to get that camera but held back its too expensive for me. Perhaps this year I can finally get one.
I owned a Sigma SD15, Fuji XE1, Canon 60D and now a 6D. The 6D is almost perfect. I just wish it was as small and pretty as a Fuji or Leica.
Great video! Love hearing about these gems!
@ 1:56 double adapter, Canon FD lens to M to X mount?
Ahahah, love that teasing for your next camera ! 😂 I bet you are looking to the X1D... The first one can be found second hand for a good price I think.
Personally, I can't justify (and don't have the money) buying one of my dream cameras (M10-P / Hasselblad X1D 1 and 2 / GFX50R), but I decided to took the closest to my dreams (my ''more affordable and realistic'' dream I should say😅) ; the X-Pro 3 (arriving tomorrow).
My plan is to focus on lenses, especially M mount ones so I can use them in any other camera in the future...😋
the X-Pro3 is a lot of fun, enjoy :)
Yeah! Was waiting for that video. Thanks. As a fujifilm shooter I'm sad that you are saling all the Fuji gear but waiting eagerly to see your dream camera. Is it a "Phase One?"
I will probably own a Fuji again at some point. An X80 for example would be an instant buy :)
Hi Mattias... If you have the time, how would you compare the image quality between the Fuji XF10 and Fuji X70, isn't the X70 better IQ, and eventually at focusing?
Thank you for any insight...
I really enjoy your channel. I'm always swapping out gear for used new or new new gear. I think I may get a lx100 ii.
Great timing. Almost two years ago I bought a used RX100IV and loved all of it for the kind of shoots I do. But it is falling apart and showing wear. The EVF for example isn't working anymore.
I am debating about getting a new camera or replacing it. The flash is very important for me. As well as being extremely compact as I take it into a lot of places.
There goes the prices lol
So cool you went for the Panasonic LX100ii, I recently bought the Leica D-Lux Typ109 which is this camera (or should that be the other way around?). This is my first Summilux and it does not disappoint. Oddly enough, I'm seeing the typ109 priced slightly under the LX100ii, both are fine cameras. For my money the dream camera is the M10, all the best in 2020
I am having so much fun with my x-e2 with Kipon TS adapter and nikkor ais lenses.
I still have the original Fuji X-E1 and feel no real need to upgrade to the X-E2 or X-E3. It's easily "95%" of the X-E2s and about "90%" of the X-E3. The colors and sharpness are unbelievably good and holds well together.
Honorable mention: SONY X100 Mk1 - the original is still 90% of what the new ones are at an affordable price. No overheating issues either.
I still have my XE1, XE2s as well as an XE3, the XE3 is so much faster than the other 2 (especially the XE1) I couldn't imagine going back.
Thanks and happy new year! I actually bought a new X-E3 as a second camera at an unbelievable price but several X-E1, X-E2 & X-2S sold for $100 to $200. It's a theft for such amazing cameras!
Definitely under priced compared to the XT30.
I work professionally with my Pen-F and love the results both raw and jpegs.
The camera that I never can hold on to have always been Sony apsc line. Never satisfied me the way the little pen has even though the Sony offer so much. Just my thoughts
Really great video! Thanks :)
Hi Mattias,
I really love watching your videos, as a former gear acquirer, I can see you put your kit to much better use than I ever did! Since not many people have access to this lens, I'm curious about how you rate the Leica 23mm for the TL/CL, particularly in terms of smoothness of bokeh? I shoot Fuji, and have found both the 23mm lenses they offer too busy in their bokeh, I print large and enjoy subtle smooth background blur in my work. If the upcoming Viltrox 23mm isn't right for me, I need to consider other options long term1
Good luck on getting the dream camera! Mine's a Hasselblad X1D II!
The 23mm Summicron is much nicer in every single way imo. Bokeh included.
For video which would be best? Fuji XH1, Sony A7 II or a A6500?
I switched from m43 to Fuji APS-C. Started with a Lumix G6 in 2013, then switched to the G85 because it is weather sealed and the handling overall is much nicer. Sometime after that I wanted a camera purely for street photography and bought a GX850. The GX850 took awesome images but the camera was too small, so I bought a GX85 instead. The handling is great, the image quality is great but sadly this camera isn't weather sealed and Panasonic doesn't seem to be making a GX8 II anytime soon. Because of that I bought a used X-Pro 2 with the grip attachment and the 27mm pancake to test the Fuji system. To be honest I've never used my m43 gear since.
Now I own an X-Pro2 with a 23mm f2 as my main street-setup, a 50mm f2 for longer reach, a 27mm pancake for its compactness, an X-H1 for everything else and have a 16-55 on the way. Couldn't be happier.
Disclaimer: I want weather sealing because I like to have my cameras always ready and my X-Pro2 got dripping wet several times and has never failed me once.
Love your camera reviews and have done for years. I am going to purchase the Panasonic GH5 and GH5s so I can make some films and do some reviews. I am also going to buy the Canon 90D and Fuji XT3.
I have managed to put both the regular colour profiles of both the Fuji XT1 and Fuji Xpro 1 onto my Nikon D5500 via the Nikon Picture Control Editer website.
I have also put the Canon 5D Mark 2 color profile on it. I am going to put more on it this week.
Intriguing list for sure! That Panasonic LX100 looks pretty cool. Speaking of the X-E line, you can get the original X-E1 used for DIRT cheap. I've seen some in great condition go as low as $125. The downside is that it has the first X-trans sensor as opposed to the X-Trans II found in the X-T1, but it's still a great sensor nonetheless! Also, I can't wait to see this dream camera of yours. A vintage Leica? A Phase? Maybe one of the Hasselblads that went to the moon?
Yeah the XE1 is also a solid option. The moon camera would be sweet. Or some other famous camera like the Queen's M3 or something.
I guess it will be a Leica or Fuji GFX.
newbie here if i pick up a Fujifilm X-E2S whats sort of lens should i look out for
I have a Fuji xT-1 of which I like shooting with BW mainly, my X70 as my go everywhere compact (wish it had a OVF) and my SONY a7III of which I use mainly for events and an Olympus EP-1 of which I can't sell as I do like the colours so much .. However I think that the Nikon df or the Pentax k1 will be on the list as love to take my time shooting and not rush 😀 lovely as always Matias .
The DF is a gem!
I still have my E-pl1, but it was unused recently cause the auto focus doesn't work. Still looking for a dirt cheap m4/3 lens that is not too huge. Might transition to a compact camera someday.
My one is the E2s plus FM2n and Zenza Bronica ETR three beauties .
Although I have a e-pl1, Nikon D200, D300s and D5200 I always have my LX100 with me (next to the Pixel 3 phone I own).
Funny, easy and always ready for shooting, that is why I love the LX100 🙃
Planning to do an upgrade from the D5200? I own a D5200 myself, considering one of a secondhand D7x00 / D500 / D750
@@SoundSpeeding Perhaps someday, because I prefer my D300s over my D5200 because of the grip, bigger/brighter viewfinder and dedicated thumb focus. But I prefer the LX100 because of the size and flexibility.
I love my CL! :)
Since switching to digital almost six years ago, I have bought and then sold a dozen different cameras from Olympus, Panasonic, and mostly Fuji, along with over forty different lenses to go with them. But this year, I sold the last of my Fujis to buy my dream camera; a Leica M. Actually two of them; an M9 and and then an M8 to keep it company.
That's a cool combo to have. They complement each other well.
You mentioned that Thea the xe2s has the most organic Fuji colors. Is this the case also vs the xe1?
Its quite funny what us photographers do when GAS strikes. Lets flog the lot, and buy the think we love most.
It was your love of the Df that diverted me away from buying the M10. And that purchase is the best one I have ever made - even with only two lenses, I love the Df, nothing I have shot with, played with, or even thought about pulls the goods.
On the days I feel like a change, I use my Leica X (a camera everyone loves to hate), and shot it in full analogue mode, as if it were a film camera - just for a change.
I look forward to seeing what you buy.
I had the Ricoh GRs (IV 1.8 lens and the new versions I and II) ricoh just finds a way to get back to me. Good thing I settled for the III. If it had a viewfinder, that would be the perfect camera.
I loved the LX 100 / Mark II,, beautiful camera ergonomics, I love the video output,, but never loved the picture output , they reminded me of some older Sony output files I like the picture files of the Fujifilm X100T/F MUCH more ... but the camera is superb. And macro mode with a add on lens is also beautiful
What add on lena did you use?
Informative and lovely
Glad you liked it
I bought the Sony A7R 3 times the A7 & A7ii twice Canon 6D once, 5Dii Once Loved none as much as I do my Fuji X-T1! Thinking of buying 2 as spare or to pass on to my sons when they grow up!
Third? Love your content! I picked up the EOS M after your last video and it has served me very well this past ~3 years!! Thanks :)
That's great to hear. The M is definitely still a great buy today :)
Purely for the fun of speculating:
The dream camera is in a higher price bracket than the Leica CL, but we may be disappointed. So:
Leica Q ? Possible, focal length one of Mattias' favourites. But would he pair it with the same GR focal length? Doubt it.
Sony Rx1Rii. High resolution sensor, built in Evf, fairly compact, classic focal length. But could Sony menus and ergonomics be anyone's "dream"? Nah, I don't think so. And I suspect with the GR in pocket, the dream camera won't be fixed lens.
Leica M10-D . Distinct possibility. Different, bare bones, simple and minimalist. Mattias' loved his M8/M9 and the M10 series is the closest cmos to the ccd output Leica have had. Manual focus only, but he loves shooting vintagei lenses on various bodies anyway. But is the 24mp enough for a recent interest in landscape work?
Leica SL2. I'm thinking no, purely on size.
Hassy X1Dii . Certainly fits the bill of upper price brackets! Bigger sensor, interchangeable lenses, premium brand, lots of resolution, reasonably compact for what it is.
The problem with all of the above is that Mattias' interest wouldn't really drive prices up. So that makes me think it's something older, less common and less easily obtained . Possibly even a large format film camera or digital back?
You sound like a crime investigator. Great comment! :)
Jason Hannigan Maybe Leica S.
@@mihaicalincosariu maybe! But again, would Leica S values jump because Mattias' wants one? Not sure.
@@jshanni2066 No camera would get any significant price increase just because I want one.
I can really relate to that. My quest for that more than 90% camera led me past an XF10, X-M1,-T10, -T2 and -T3 to owning nearly all the Fuji X-mount primes but using an X-100T due to the wonderful 16MP Sensor. I wonder whats next. The quest for a camera for rougher environments and event photography made me buy and sell my Z6 falling back to a DSLR. I wonder about the Leica and I, too, tend to buy used gear.
Thanks for that one! I‘d be interested to here more about the monochrome mode and whether there any good 28mm (full frame equv.) MF lens options ✌️
This list I need right now. My dream camera is the GR3 but I can't afford it at the moment. I have about $500. But I have to include extra batteries, memory, etc. What about the GR2? Not worth it?
My grandpa had a Kodak Brownie when I was young. My retinas still have scars burned in them from the flashbulbs he used.
I will buy a compact camera soon, not sure if I can get the Leica just yet...
I’ve had the X-Pro1 multiple times.
I bought it four times. I'm keeping it for a while now
Another video teasing the "dream camera" debut? A reminder to let gear go that just never shows up in your bag? A final salute to all your outgoing gear? In any case ... 👍 the video has me thinking about what l might carry in my travel kit as a second body. 😅
I think that sums it up nicely :)
Nice video as always! Which of all these performs best in low-light?
The CL.
I haven't had the chance of trying the CL, but, and I am not on Panasonic payroll, I recently did a birthday on candlelights only with the LX 100 with amazing results at 2.8 1600 iso.
They all give good results in low light in my experience. Its always just a matter of adapting to the situation.
Any chance of a Pentax K70 review? I was hoping it would be in this list since you have shown pictures from it in the past
I will review it. Used it at work the other day.
Great video. I've had a Nikon d3100 horrible camera. D100 D300. Fuji xe-1 but I always end up going back to micro four thirds and the Lumix g9 does everything I could want a camera to do. But I would sell it for a Leica q2m at the drop of a hat. And at a cheeper cost the Fuji x100v sounds a good choice.
Do the olympus om-d line of cameras.
What are the APSC Prime Trinity lenses referenced at 7:18?
Dream camera: Sigma FP or Leica SL2
Lol LOVE you’re links to deal comment!
Your dream camera.. zeiss zx1?
Or hasseblad 907x?
what is your camera strap on your xe3?
Hi Mattias, I am tempted to buy a Leica T for a good price I saw online; but when I look at online photo samples on different websites (including DPreview) I find the picture quality disappointing. The problem is also that I got used to the amazing picture quality of my Sigma cameras (DP2 Quattro, DP1 Merrill) with a Foveon sensor, so when I compare the pics I take with those cameras to those taken even with way more expensive cameras I am very disappointed. Is there any good compact sized camera with or without interchangeable lenses which you would advise me to buy without breaking the bank? Thank you so much for your help and your great videos. Manu
That can beat a Foveon? Sorry, that ain't happening. You will have to trade IQ for speed, iso, handling, AF etc.
I actually thought what you just commented. A Foveon sensor is still hard to beat. Regardless of all the flaws my slow and not versatile Sigma cameras take really beautiful sharp pics. I hope camera makers started thinking of creating a totally different type of sensor.
Thank you very much for getting back to me Mattias. You are a really nice guy, I enjoy watching your videos.
I have another question for you. I am also looking at other 'cheaper'' Leika options like the M8 and the M9. Which one would you go for?
The Leica Q with a fixed lens also look very good, but a interchangeable lens camera would probably be a better option.
Thank you again Mattias!
I like the M8 maybe slightly more than my M9. But my M9-P was just lovely. Just make sure the M9 has had its sensor replaced, that is a must before buying one. The M240 is very close in price to the M9 these days, also worth considering.
do you use lightroom or other programs to sort your images? thanks in advance
I adjust in Lightroom but don’t use it for sorting.
Yashica fx-3 Super 2000 My go to camera as of late
Goodluck with the dream camera
In between camera eco systems. Have a GX80 that I use with old glass. Just purchased a Canon M for shooting raw (Magic Lantern) . Might complement it with a 5D mkii which means letting go of the IBIS panny. Not investing in m4/3 glass.
Since your in the selling mode maybe you should do a video on how you approach that.
You do an incredible work in editing, I haven't seen better than that, can you talk about that please
For my older cameras that I will keep, Fuji X-E1, X-E2, and a second X-E2 converted to full spectrum. I'm planning to do some Spring cleaning in March. It does feel good to let go of the items that are simply not being used anymore. I have at least seven lenses that either I don't use or have proven to not be able to deliver what I need for a given task.
I doubt I will be disappointed with your choice of a "Dream Camera" because you know what is best for you - certainly not me. :) Hope you can get the camera at a good bargain price.
This one has my favorite music :)
I want to try a CL next I just purchased for dirt cheap a Ricoh GR version 1 10mp and im enjoying it just for the joy of always having a camera in my pocket. I also have had the x100 a bunch of times. Now i also have an xpro2 and xh1 but im still considering a sale and switch to leica but its hard to use an M for everything wedding related so I may have to wait until I have SL money
I bought the LUMIX LX 100.. (based on your review) and sold it after first outing; dust got in sensor ($$$ repair. “A common issue” per repair guy). I then bought & still using Sony RX 100 m2. Love it .. but now wanting a bigger/better sensor - in a compact! Selling RX 100... considering used Leica D-LUX ? Or... as you seem to prefer. Ricoh GR... However. I need a view finder. Opt. 2: switch to Fuji- XE3 or XE2s. Not compact but close!
I am looking forward to your new affordable camera review. The one coming out of Wetzlar.
Plenty of affordable cameras from Wetzlar on my channel already. X1 and M8 comes to mind :)
Sold my Leica Q for wayyyy less than you need to spend on equivalent quality from Sony or Fuji.
@@gearreallydoesntmatter you know which one I mean... And I like it very much that you got it!
Best CamTuber in 2021. 🌹
PS: I will never sell my Pen F. Not even to trade in with leica T. Its a classic.
Better top of the line in the 2nd category rather than get the bottom cam of the 1st category.
Thank God for some of the 'Gumball Machine' cameras ! : ) Like my D5100 however Mattias has so much education to share regarding cameras that I never knew existed and their capabilities.... Thank you for being here Mattias...
The GH4 was an "almost" camera for me. Good sensor in good light, great video, great control layout, but I never dug the EVF and the rear touchscreen died on me a year in, after shooting a time-lapse of a sunset. I still have it... I just keep it around as a B-camera option locked off on a tripod. But if somebody local wants to buy it off Craigslist in NYC, I might not say no ;)
I've never had a dream about a camera. :)
Wow I'd pick the fuji system, I still want the xt1 or the xe2/3 and mount a vintage lens with it.. amazing photos as usual 👏
Go get a fuji, you will not ne disapointet, even the xe1 is still a great cam... and of course the xpro1 whitch bouth have in my opinion the most “analog“ look to get... contrary to what mattias said about the lovely xt1...
Personally I prefer the plastic thumb grip on X-E2/2s than the one on X-E3.
i am always concerned about fuji bodies reliability along with the post processing of the raw images. i welcome other's thoughts on both of my concerns. thumbs up.
It also has something to do with the ergonomics too something that can work with the Philippine weather 😀 I'd pick the xt1. And you're right any of those you mention is still great for portraits.
smalltalk.productions I cannot comment on reliability since I’m not using Fuji professionally. But my xt2 works fine under freezing/in deserts/around waterfalls… in terms of post processing, granted that you may get higher sharpness with Capture1, I think LR is good enough for normal size prints.
would it be wise to ditch the Canon 1300D for a Lumix GX1? I am thinking of picking up the GX1 which I found with someone at a very good price.. the compact size of the GX1 is kind of intimidating me to pick it.. any suggestions?
What lenses do you have for your Canon? What lens are you considering for the GX1?
@@gearreallydoesntmatter Have not used the Canon much, cause of the bulky body, hence I just have the 18-55 kit lens, and a third party 35-70 manual lens.
For the GX1, I am not quite sure yet, but it would probably be the Panasonic Lumix G Vario 45-150mm and Sigma 30mm f/2.8 DN, but for the beginning I might just try it with the Canon 18-55 with an adapter.
@@kaushals.4028 I would start with getting a cheap 50mm f1.8 for the Canon. Give it a chance.
