  • So you want to get a strong chest? You want to increase your bench press strenght? Today we go over it all in this amazing video. This is the workout for you. Today we do speed work with the one and only Matt wenning at his gym in Columbus Ohio. Also we have some guy named Stan Effererding with us.     I love this type of vid it literally seems as if you've walked up to the biggest guy in the gym asked him a question and he's told you what he's been doing. Not any of that - this study shows this, the science says that..- just straight up conversing

    LVR training, linear variable resistance is crucial for all strength training. Thank you for putting this out there. I don't think enough people understand this concept.

    At 225 body weight at 5'9" using a little bounce off the bottom (2x the weight for a split second) now gets me 240 for 7 reps on the seated , cambered bar preacher curls , strict and full range. If you don't hit your body with something that it CAN'T DO , you will never keep things moving along in the right direction. Arms are 21.25 pumped , after 28 years of abuse and NO JUICE , you need to use "tricks" to get your body to excel.

    Been using the 'bands' with weights these past couple of years now, what a difference!!! in the feel of the lift, it actually feels safer as well & IMO better for the joints, whether benching or curling for example, but you need to leave the ego home! ...so you probably wont see the 'kiddies' in the gym doing it ....that's too much Facebook & selfie time taken up.

    Mike i am not gonna lie , at first I didin't like you at all with all the frog fitness and duck eggs bullshit , but hey we all have to make a living . But the more i watched your videos , i grew to like you as a person and I do belive you could be natural because when i see you lift compared to the others , you have so much more control and perfect form over the heavy weights , you just dont bring the weights up and down you owe them . You inspire me to be the best natural athelete i can .

      I am not saying for sure he is natty but there are genetic freaks out there , i used to have a guy in my class clean and jerk 100 kg without touching weight i couldnt belive it , Mike obviously has insane genetics aswell , plus he does WORKS HARDER than anybody i've seen , so is he drug free ? Who knows , but its possible IMO. If ronnie coleman and jay cutler never touched steroids they would be called fake naties too lol .

      Damien wood I don't understand how anyone dislikes Mike o Hearn. He's been humble since he got big and doesent downfall anyone. Stop watching vegan gains and these other RUclips's who hate on people with gains and learn the game from lifters who actually been through he'll and back.

      for me to get big calves i go light for 50-100 reps and go heavy 10-20 reps. do calves seated and standing as it makes a huge difference. train calves a 3x a week and also train the shin. to train the shin i get a weight on my toes and raise it up. if you train the shins you will get extra size because hardly anyone trains the tibialis anterior which makes up a big part of the lower leg. another thing make sure to stretch the calves as they respond so well to the weighted stretch. good luck i used this method after not training calves for 2 years and they gained a few inches fast.

      dabeastat 2007 steroids squats and deads and then what they are doing in the video these guys are the best of the best. Most people who juice are lucky to even get to 405.

      Sure, steroids may be part of the reason why they have massive benches. But you can easily have a shit bench on gear if your training is fucked up. Steroids don't automatically get you a 600lb bench like Matt and stan

    low reps to failure, and eat more calories than you burn to gain muscle, and get enough rest, stretch, and hindu massage, stay hydrated, make sure you get enough potassium in foods you eat, eat proper anti-oxidants to reduce inflammation and recovery

      A chain gets progressively heavier as it comes off the floor, adding incrementally more resistance when you lock out. Some like it. Some don't.
