    The one thing I find, when I do a pushing exercise, is push with your heels.

    Mark-I just watched a video of you repping incline with 140's and now you're repping 80's for 12 when you can do 120's for 12, which is a hypertrophy set. And probably can do 3 hypertrophy sets with 120's for 12, 10, 8. Yes, you won't recover quickly, but the intensity will cause more growth to make up for less volume. Still don't get why people drop the load strictly to do more volume when more load and a little less volume will get you just as big, but also strong as fuk.

      The point of hypertrophy isnt strength. The point of stretching from my assumption is to break the fibers even more

    • @cooperrush76
      @cooperrush76 5 лет назад

      To actually answer your question I dont think 10 seconds will have an impact but if you did it significantly longer I do believe it would affect your strength. Since you were still active and not sitting and resting

    • @MrGflan
      @MrGflan 5 лет назад

      Tired of Being Average I didn’t think so either, and I’m not sure if Thomas Delauer and Jeff Nippard are correct on that once, regarding stretching. I know you aren’t supposed to stretch a cold muscle, so I usually do a warm up set to get blood in the muscles. I suppose a 30-45 second stretch would be way too long and I can see that affecting things. I’ll stick to 10 seconds. Thanks man

    • @cooperrush76
      @cooperrush76 5 лет назад

      @@MrGflan regarding cold muscles I believe static stresses are not beneficial but dynamic are, in the video they are using static after the set to break more fibers. Like most, when I'm cold I just do the excercise with low to no weight.
