It was a watch that I dreamed off owning when it was released in 2018. At the time, I was very sick and struggling financially. Couldn’t afford it. Now the money is rolling in, and this year, 2023, I bought the BB54. They’re fantastic watches. Beautiful. Accurate. Durable. Now I have a Pelagos 39. I love Tudor 🥀 💜 Thx for sharing. Enjoyed this

For the similar price point watch brand, Tudor has delivered good quality and wearability.

Great review and congratulations on your horological journey with the BB58. I too own the OG BB5 and thinks it fanatic. Unfortunately, you may have been misinformed. The rivets are an integral part of the links. They really shouldn’t be called faux as they serve a functional purpose in maintaining the integrity of the links. If removed, the links will come loose. You may not like the look, but they do serve a purpose beyond aesthetics.

Thanks for the comment. The rivets on the upper non adjustable links, if you look closely don’t look like independent pins that have been pushed in but rather a plate with 2 bumps. I can see this being a point of contention online.

the nato strap was one of the reason i considered downgrading my bb41, but couldnt do it as one has METAS and the other doesn't

Which watch did you want to downgrade to?

Can links be removed easily in the bracelet? I have a small wrist and would like to have the bracelet, but may have to settle for the NATO if taking links out is a no go.

The bottom few links have screw holes so you can adjust it no problem 👍

What special edition BB58 is that? I've never seen one with that dial before.

It was a small batch made within a watch community at Google with the watches for good charity. You’ll find a few of them floating around on the internet. I wonder how much longer Tudor will do these custom jobs.
