Luckily u got it 10 years ago at retail. Now all steel sport models no stock
Dislike #2 spot on - i just got my Batman and am very pleased that i took the Oyster bracelet. Then i'll get a jubilee on a datejust for formal occasions.
Why doesn’t it fit you?
My dislike from owning a gmt and a sub is the legibility. Once the sun goes down for get it.
Yes which is why the matte finished dials like the Sea Dweller 116600 is so great
Well , he hasn't lost any money on it and will make a profit if he sold it.
Ten years is a lot of time. Every review about anything after all that time is automatically interesting. Nice video!
Thanks for watching 🙏
The summer blue is fun but the chrome gives the same vibes. I went chrome with mesh combo
Happy with the decision? I sold my Seamaster 300M Summer Blue
@RedDotWatches yeah, my family are cowboy fans which is perfect for the chrome style!
No dates are always best
I’m picking one up in 2 days time to add to my small collection
What a fantastic review I’m picking one up this weekend (hopefully)
Enjoy the honeymoon!
Really tired of hearing about the Rolex "Pepsi."
No one forced you to click and watch this video 😂
@@jethrojacinto2798 That is a very well thought out and intellectual response. Perhaps you could explain the hype about this particular watch. I like the GMT Master but do NOT understand why this particular design has people in a daze and willing to spend a ridiculous amount of money,
I agree on the no date. I don’t get date complications. Obviously the time is forever changing, so you might look at your watch dozens or hundreds of time per day. The date changes once, that’s it. Why do you need it on display? Add one to yesterday and that’s today’s date for the entire day. Nothing changes
Im thinking about buying on this week
the nato strap was one of the reason i considered downgrading my bb41, but couldnt do it as one has METAS and the other doesn't
Which watch did you want to downgrade to?
@@RedDotWatches blackbay 58 , but eventually i traded it for the NTTD Omega Seamaster
Nice Rep
I give you utmost respect and mad props for deciding not to have your personal Submariner refinished. I have personally seen too many used examples lose their original shape due to over-polishing, and it saddens me immensely.
Now that you Mention it the dial looks like something is reflecting off it at all Times compared to the regular Blue.
That’s why I went with regular blue. I hated the dial in person. Planet ocean dial is much better but not good on bigger wrists.
Teaser for the 50 year review: This watch has taken a licking and keeps on ticking. It still feels great on the wrist. I can wear it for any occasion. I’ve made a lifetime of memories with it on my wrist. This just may be the only watch I’ll ever need. Because it is!
I have a hulk, and love it!
Been hard to decide between this and the summer blue 300 but the finish on that ceramic dial might be the dealmaker.
I get upset scratching a $200 watch let alone a $28k watch.
Can links be removed easily in the bracelet? I have a small wrist and would like to have the bracelet, but may have to settle for the NATO if taking links out is a no go.
The bottom few links have screw holes so you can adjust it no problem 👍
5.5 years with mine, still my favorite to wear.
Where you get this from for 4,500? The lowest i could get mine for was 4,900
I got mine for SGD 6K (4.5k usd)at Watchexchange in Singapore.
This concept breaks down when you travel between regions that switch Daylight Savings Times on different dates. So for about a month a year, the complication is misleading when traveling between the US and Europe.
I always check the daylight saving feature and just press and move the city ring one less time if required.
@@RedDotWatches Of course, you can address it. But then you're wearing a $40K watch that 'lies' to you. Time and time zone don't line up. I know it's not a huge practical issue but more a philosophical one. Does the concept of the watch line up with reality? Until there's no more DST anywhere in the world, we should stop putting time zone names on watches, for that reason. I realize, that's an extreme view, of course. It just kills that particular kind of watch for me and I am sad Lange doesn't do a more conventional GMT.
Great review what accuracy are you getting on the movement in this watch?
Next time i go to my dealer i’ll put it on his machine and let you know. Probably +2-3 seconds per day.
@@RedDotWatches I have this same Exact Rolex except in the black and blue color way. Only had it for a few months and just now noticing it’s running +4 secs per day, surprised since all Rolex models are rated at +/- 2 secs per day. Maybe it needed to be wound more from sitting. Interested to hear your findings.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the bezel. I have a Sub and the bezel on the SM300 leaves a lot to be desired.
I agree that it’s less refined but also half the price. Sadly nothing beats the Rolex bezel action.
Hey man, very nice review. Have you ever tried something like a Sinn U1 or U50? I would love to see you make a review about them.
Never owned a Sinn but on the list of pieces I want to try. Really nice stealth brand.
Amazing review and loved the comparison with the Lange 1. I love Lange and was considering a Lange 1; however, it feels and looks too small to me. I think I will have to save a little extra for the Grand Lange 1
I own the 114060 too... anyone has one and feels the lume isn't that great? If i'm paying >10k for a watch it better have a lume that can light up the darkness in my soul
Can you share pics? I think the lume is not as good as my GMT but good enough for me
Gw lebih suka 14060
Very nice practical video!
Great watch
Thanks for reviewing! I consider to buy this watch soon. But really concern shaking sounds…. Did you talk to boutique or costumer support about this matter? Is this purpose for design ?
I have not talked to customer support but when you try it on shake it like I did, I think you’ll get the same issue.
great video!
Very well done review! Not only tech-features but more the experience of living with the watch. Please do more videos like that :)
Thanks - i’m currently working on a review of the Summer Blue -Omega Seamaster 300M diver. Will try to keep making more vids 🙏
Just beautiful.
"It's a killer watch" I would say "overkill", what a watch 😮😮😮 I swiss so noway I am spending that much on a german watch 😅 😅 but I have to admit that finishing dial/case/movement is the best in business, end of discussion 😊 Nice abd honnest review
The best watch
Good job
No watch should rattle. It's probably the timezone wheel. Lange is interesting similar to Breguet. But the cases are simply too bulky, and designs very old fashioned, for a modern watch. Giant date window is another ugly feature. Finishing is beautiful, as we all know. Smart thing to do is get it insured, and then arrange a archieluxury-style "burglary" so you can cash out of this shitter.
Another amazing review! Thank you!
I rarely comment on videos, but this time I have to: Your watch reviews are authentic and very enjoyable. Additionally I very much like the way you present each watch and show us how the watch could feel like to own and wear. Thank you very much for these amazing reviews!
Thank you for the comment, good to know you enjoyed it. 🙏
Beautiful watch it wears perfect on you, enjoy !
That rattling would drive me crazy. But it's a beautiful watch!
Yes - seeing the comments, i’m leaning towards taking it in to Lange before my 2 year warranty next month.
What special edition BB58 is that? I've never seen one with that dial before.
It was a small batch made within a watch community at Google with the watches for good charity. You’ll find a few of them floating around on the internet. I wonder how much longer Tudor will do these custom jobs.
It was a watch that I dreamed off owning when it was released in 2018. At the time, I was very sick and struggling financially. Couldn’t afford it. Now the money is rolling in, and this year, 2023, I bought the BB54. They’re fantastic watches. Beautiful. Accurate. Durable. Now I have a Pelagos 39. I love Tudor 🥀 💜 Thx for sharing. Enjoyed this
Thanks for sharing!
For the similar price point watch brand, Tudor has delivered good quality and wearability.
Great review and congratulations on your horological journey with the BB58. I too own the OG BB5 and thinks it fanatic. Unfortunately, you may have been misinformed. The rivets are an integral part of the links. They really shouldn’t be called faux as they serve a functional purpose in maintaining the integrity of the links. If removed, the links will come loose. You may not like the look, but they do serve a purpose beyond aesthetics.
Thanks for the comment. The rivets on the upper non adjustable links, if you look closely don’t look like independent pins that have been pushed in but rather a plate with 2 bumps. I can see this being a point of contention online.
Hello friend!! Didn’t know about the 18k gold markers and hands on the Tudor. Please make shure! Excellent video
Yup you're right, submitted a trim into the video to improve accuracy. Thanks for the comment.
