RUclips watch reviewers take note; this is how a watch review should be done. Amazing job! Multiple real world shots and videos in different circumstances and lighting; not just holding the watch and talking about it. The fact that you owned the watch for years and you were able to give a long term review with likes and dislikes. Great job
Literally, the best on wrist shots of the pepsi. Better than any other vid in that respect. This is the only vid I've seen that truly captures how good looking this watch is on the wrist.
Great video. I just hit 10 years with my GMT blue/black "batman" and just took in in for service this week because it's not holding a charge for even 24 hours. It's definitely overdo for service. I'd love to own your Pepsi on the jubilee. I also love the "root beer" two-tone version. They are all just so hard to get these days. 10 years ago I literally walked into the dealer and the case was full of options and you could choose any watch you wanted. How the world has changed.
Funny you say that. I want the Bateman too, on a business trip it’s a better piece. Yes, when my sub 10yrs ago, i got to choose between the sub-date, bateman and black gmt all for sale at retail. I do think that the retail market is coming back to 2018 these days where steel sports is within range if you’re patient.
Such a chameleon and timeless watch that will be passed down for generations! Very cool… also appreciate your input about the clasp or lack of adjustability. Thanks
This is an awesome timepiece , it’s definitely an Icon that’s been the industry leader for decades . Love this watch keep wearing and enjoying your watch . Thanks for sharing

As others have mentioned, nice on-the-wrist shots. Agree with the jubilee being too flashy. However the oyster bracelet comes with polished central links that may also be too flashy to some. Can’t wait for mine to arrive.
I couldn't wait any longer so I just bought it on the secondary from a reputable dealer at a decent price I may I add and if I finally get it from the AD at some point then I'd sell this one, keep the new one and get my money back. It's beautiful. I'm very happy with the decision. Also, Rolex is having some production issues with the ceramic bezel in red so who knows what may happen in the future with this piece. I figured, I get mine now just in case. Btw, I agree that the jubilee is a little bit more flashy but it's more comfortable and it also looks very nice, the oyster bracelet scratches easier because of the polished middle links. The jubilee sells at a premium compared to the oyster as well.
Just got called to pick up my 126719BLRO.0002 (Meteorite) ... beyond excited. I've been wearing the CHNR Rose gold for the past 4 years, bur I've always liked the Pepsi color scheme best.
A really well done video. I went with the oyster bracelet since that is what my 1967 GMT has. Also I won’t wear it to the flea market here in Albuquerque. Other then that. I won’t take it off. Even doing my lap swimming. Buy one, you will never get cold feet paying big money. However, having no family or debts. This is why my sub & my GMT are 2022 models. But I drive a 08 Hyundai Elantra. My mountain bike is 35 yrs. Old. My road bike is 40 yrs. Old. Nobody stops to think what kind of watch this guy is wearing judging by my bikes.
Beyond the hype, once you own and wear a Rolex like you’ve described. There’s something about the timelessness of the design and robustness that no other brand can touch. Enjoy your GMT 🤘🏻
I had a 16700 and wore it for two decades as my one and only watch. Yes, I've worn flip flops and pajama pants to the grocery wearing a Pepsi and still felt proud lol. Now I recently purchased a 126710 Pepsi on Oyster. My grail, I must admit.. Subscribed and clicked on the bell. Looking forward to more videos. Love to see a long term review of your sub and a shout out :) You deserve and obtain more subscribers before you know it :)
I can guarantee your watch doesn't get the level of attention that you think it does. The only people that'll be looking at it are yourself, the 0.01% of people who are watch nerds, and potential watch thieves. Everyone else will ignore it. So yes you should wear it whenever you want.
I think the example he gave of car sales or other contract negotiations are the environments where it will be more likely recognized. Although, I’ve been shocked when a kid checking me out at the grocery store says “nice Pepsi!”. The Rolex hype has made the general formula recognizable like a 911. I’d say an average person can spot the date bubble. You’d be hard pressed to get them to later tell you if the Pepsi was a 1675/16750 matte dial or new ceramic.
Ok. From the distance it looks like a kid toy watch. Plastic and stuff. Only when you get closer looks real. I wouldn’t wear it to a suit. Looks like a joke
@@RedDotWatches I have this same Exact Rolex except in the black and blue color way. Interested to hear your findings.

Teaser for the 50 year review: This watch has taken a licking and keeps on ticking. It still feels great on the wrist. I can wear it for any occasion. I’ve made a lifetime of memories with it on my wrist. This just may be the only watch I’ll ever need. Because it is!
Dislike #2 spot on - i just got my Batman and am very pleased that i took the Oyster bracelet. Then i'll get a jubilee on a datejust for formal occasions.
Very nicely done. Looks great on you too. Agree on the glidelock, this should be on all Rolex sports watches now. Your other dislike isn't your fault. It's the world we live in unfortunately...... Enjoy.
That’s what will separate the SUB from the GMT. The Sub definitely has the superior bracelet and bezel. I love the clicks on my sub verses my BLNR. But the BLNR wins with the GMT function and the fact it comes on a Jub.
@@RedDotWatchesI totally agree. I have a Pepsi on Jubilee which I got new from my AD on February 4th, 2023. The clasp has a few scratches from use, but the bracelet is absolutely perfect. I’ve worn my Pepsi every single day since I got it and certainly haven’t babied it. There is not a single mark on the Jubilee bracelet. It’s the perfect daily wear bracelet
Great video, but I am really weary of hearing all the hype about the Rolex Pepsi. Aren't there any other Rolex models worth talking about once in awhile?
I agree with you, i’m sick of rolexes but the hype is warranted. The case shape, 904L for steel sports in that price range there isn’t anything as good IMO. If you have alternatives let me know

Not if it's the full rose gold GMT or yellow gold sub. very identifiable as expensive

The glidelock's bigger clasp would NOT be good for this watch. The shorter clasp is perfect 👌
Or better yet, just offer the “hidden clasp” that Rolex still puts on the 31 & 28mm datejusts. You give up the “Easy link” which I never use.
The easy link is the 5mm adjustment right? That seems like it is too much to be useful?
