Actually on the 17th May 2024 I brought my son to the Rolex Daimaru Store in Tokyo Station Japan 🇯🇵 to buy a new Rolex watch but after waiting for more than 30 minutes in the line, we were told rudely that there were no Rolex watches sold there ! It was a huge disappointment for my son and it made me want to give up applying for a Rolex dealership in my country as well as give up on Rolex watches ! The rude behaviour of the Rolex dealer in Tokyo Station has caused my son to give up on the Rolex brand ! By the way my son is now wearing an Omega watch , we might get an Omega dealership as a small side biz in our country !..
I have the all black green gmt hand 116710LN but if I was given a choice of owning only two GMTs it would be 1. Root beer and Batman on oyster bracelet.
We should get out of using the term "investment". Watches should be purchased because the owner likes them and will use them over the years. E.g. I bought my first Rolex in 2021 (a DJ41 in steel and yellow gold on Oyster bracelet with fluted bezel and black diamond dial). At the time I bought it for around £11,000, it currently retails for over £13,000. I sold it the other week for £10,000. Yes, a loss of £1000 but I don't care because I wore it daily and enjoyed it. I'm now doing the same with the GMT Master II "Zombie" which I bought from the AD window a few weeks ago. On a side note, I was at an AD not long ago abroad which had over 110 Rolex pieces in stock, including the full yellow gold GMT Master II. Due to being able to claim the tax back, it would come to circa £30,000 rather than the RRP of £34,000. They had a few of them in stock too and said they were readily available, hence if you're interested then let me know and we can be in touch.
Surely if you claim the tax back in one country, you still have to pay it in another (your home country)?! I’m reasonably sure they endorse your passport when claiming the tax back abroad…so you can’t avoid it being picked up that you’ve got domestic tax to pay when you get home.
How many watches have you sold to customers outside of other dealers at inflated prices? I ask because I'm not certain that consumers are interested in overcapitalized watches. Too many watches are on the market to justify the prices on the used market. It makes no sense. GMTs are great, but I wouldn't even pay retail for any used Rolex that has been released in the last 10 years.
New GRNR is just such a nice addition to the lineup. Understated classic in an instant, defo getting one. Hopefully the market value of most watches hovers just around retail; gets rid of flippers and scummy greys!
The bi-metal jubilee Bruce Wayne is gorgeous. The oyster in stainless steel isn't great but I do like the green GMT hand. Of all the GMT's i'd still pick Batgirl I think.
Pepsi , Coke (if they are releasing ) , Batman/Batgirl and Guiness are my prefer choice in order. Pepsi, coke , batman/batgirl ladies and men can wear/like it so its is more valueable. Guinness is classy for men wearing for formal meeting or function.
Me too! It’s different and more special then a regular datejust and submariner, thus in black/grey, you can combine it nicely with your outfits. Even with a suit it would be nice. No flashy colours, just a plain special modest watch!
I own a Yatch Master 2 steel and rose gold, thinking maybe on selling it to buy a gmt wayne... Thinking on the investment side, what would be smarter, keeping the yatch master or selling it to buy the wayne?
The GRNR is more classy than the rest of GMT line. Ex owner of BLNR (A very flashy blue). BLRO is good looking also but GRNR is very subtle and minimalist.
I feel like before this release, you had to get a GMT with some form of bright colour (blue and red, black and blue, green and black) so this makes sense in the line-up as a more 'boring' addition. It''ll probably settle down to the Batman level. Thanks for the video 🙏🏻
Great video and content as usual, I’ve got the full YG recently and absolutely love it but quite conscious of it if out in a t shirt, will we see the sprite going soon ….
I love my watches I’m getting a Tudor black bay 41 black dial on rubber strap then in 5 years for my 30th birthday my first Rolex watch a Rolex OP 36 sliver
Nows the time to buy what you want i guess. Cant go down any more lol im interested in a sprite personally obviously a full gold would be nice but to expensive for me
Hi out of all them watches I'd go zombie then root beer and with the market as it is now probably just save up and buy one as I can afford it as most of this range are going to be around retail going forward. If the new gold deepsea gets to £25-30k I'm interested probably the only one out there that likes it.
Great videos guys. For me, it's the Bi-Metal on an Oyster. (A jubilee bracelet shouldn't be on a sports watch. imho). I've just got a 2024 Batman from an AD and I can't seem to take to it. I keep taking it out of the safe, looking at it and putting it back, then put on my 2008 bi-metal 116233 and the world goes back to normal. LOL I just buy a Rolex that I like and it's just usually the ones that people think are the least popular, but at the end of the day it's all about personal preference. Keep up the good work.
Rolex is building a new factory. That means a lot more Rolex. The 2023-24 releases are pretty lame. The “Bruce Wayne” is not a 20k watch and it’s not a 15k watch. It’s completely boring and will fade into irrelevance. If you want a Rolex, go with a vintage GMT or a TT GMT ceramic with the oyster band and the green GMT hand. The other option is a SeaDweller 43.
Nice chatty talk… I have a 2014 GMT 116710LN i‘m looking for a submariner date post 2021.. I would also buy a Pepsi, on oyster. Not a big fan of the nicknames… but I understand why people like them
I would choose the Root beer over all of them.

They are always like that. They showed me a 36mm date just with rubies for 70k US. It's annoying. Patek upstairs was even worse😂
Defo buying the Bruce Wayne with the jubilee bracelet
I picked up the full yellow gold g. R, n, R, and I'm very happy with it thinking it's undervalued currently.
Full yellow gold .. had it on the wrist yesterday... stunning....I felt like Midas :)
Very nice! 👌🏽

@@d734-wy8kxI’m also a resident in that other country so if it was for my personal collection I’d leave it there
I also have residency in that other country (which is tax free on goods) so I’d leave it in that country rather than bringing it back to UK

Like the Grey Market Guys (GMG) 😂
@@RocketDog73 Like Roman Sharf 😂

Thanks Greg!

I've heard the Bruce Wayne referred to as the Dark Knight. It's my favorite of the GMT line. I am no fan of mixed metals or full gold.

What watch on your wrist? The gold one. Thx
Yellow gold daydate 40 model 228238 on Lee’s wrist and Ciaran is wearing a Rose Vacheron 4500v
I own a Yatch Master 2 steel and rose gold, thinking maybe on selling it to buy a gmt wayne... Thinking on the investment side, what would be smarter, keeping the yatch master or selling it to buy the wayne?
That Jubilee bracelet on the full steel Bruce Wayne is the best watch on that table. Minimalism is stunning!
It really is!
100%
How is jubilee bracelet minimalism😂
The denim on denim should be called the Jay Leno.
Rolex prices have been dropping…. In Singapore the Pepsi has dropped by 15% or more over the the past year. The market has changed… for the better.
It's the Guinness, and I'm on the wait list for one ! Buy for the love
Good choice!
I really like the Bruce Wayne - what is the absolute lowest you'd guys take?
This piece is sold now but we are getting new stock daily. Please chat with us on Instagram or WhatsApp and we will do our best to help 🙌🏽
What is the watch the guy in the white t-shirt is wearing?
Vacheron Constantin 4500V/110R-B705 Overseas Blue
Mine's a Guiness, with a Pepsi chaser.....?!

Love the Guinness! Of course, the Bruce Wayne, Batman/girl, and Pepsi are all sharp!
Stop with those fruity nicknames

Pepsi on oyster sold 20k aud and black Daytona 25k aud both 2 year old at auction market dead why wait to get from AD soon
Can you make a video on the champagne dial, sundust in all rose gold and meteorite Daytona in all rose gold (rare piece)
It's definitely not the first one in the UK. I've seen one spotted on the wrist of someone and we had a conversation about my snoopy.
They just talk crap - I was offered one by my AD 4/5 days before these guys got theirs
We meant on the grey market mate - of course somebody had one before us, for them to be able to sell to us 🤝 Do you like them? Really grown on me.
@@ronswor1d not really - I have the original 6 digit ceramic and it’s better
@@Watchlover371 Fair enough mate. That's the great thing about watches, everybody has their own personal taste.

Guinness (not zombie)

The GMT Master II is supposed to have the Jubilee. Your opinion is valid but Rolex enthusiasts all go Jubilee on GMT
The new grnr needs to be called the Catwoman
only people making money in watches are the AD's, grey market and flippers, buying a watch from a dealer will not make one money.

Is it not being called the Christian Grey ?
Which do you prefer?
The gold and steel version. The bezel looks less subdued and pops more 🤩

You love your GMT? If your looking for a Sub or Pepsi give us a message via our brand new website and one of the team will be happy to help you!
All these lame talks trying to hold the market. Watch this vid again in 12 months when all the gmts will be sub retail
Lame video yes but it’s their business so they trying to sustain it. GMT’s will now remain over retail
GMT zombie
The watch market is dead
You will not make money on those watches if you buy now. The low is yet to come
I’m new to the market and currently ready to buy, what should I do!
Don’t buy Rolex ↘️
Good marketing 😂
