I realize this is an old comment but i wanted to point something out: he's actually doing 4 separate accents in that scene; the accent for Osiris, the accent for Father O'Malley, then goes into HIS own voice, and then comes out as Lazarus. Amazing scene and he really should have won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor that year.

VCR's were really hard to set up and update the clock and connect to the tv. Instructions sucked. It take forever to figure out what all the buttons on ur controller did.

These movies can be made whenever. Mel Brooks said about blazing saddles. "They said we couldn't make it in 1974." Granted it can be hard to get the funding, but movies that are very not PC still do. JoJo Rabbit comes to mind, and I adore that movie.
